Rory McIlroy has urged the PGA Tour to expedite its negotiations with the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia or risk losing out on the sovereign wealth fund’s investment altogether. I see this as another warning from Rory to the PGA tour & Jay Monahan as i feel we are reaching a critical point in the PGA Tour, LIV golf & PIF negations for the future of golf. What is happening with the PGA tour? Has there been an agreement between the PGA tout and LIV golf? What is the latest golf news?

Rory McIlroy issues ANOTHER huge warning to the PGA TOUR OVER Saudi money!

  1. If it’s about money and always is, LIV is in the driver seat here. They can ride this out indefinitely. The PGAT has not been the same quality since the split and burning all their cash to keep up with LIV to keep their remaining stars happy can’t go on for ever. They need to cut a deal yesterday.

  2. to put a merger of this profile together will take a compelling figure at the helm, monahan is so far over his head i actually feel sorry for him – i'd bring in somebody like a Schwarznegger, a former gov. w/ a celeb profile that both parties have to know is as big as golf itself.

  3. Boycott pro golf tours. The dude that won the tour championship was paid $125 million. That kind of pay out is why golf equipment costs so much. When you buy those $600 drivers from China, you are contributing to pro golfers and their obscene pay scale. We need to boycott pro tour golf and concentrate only on YouTube golf.

  4. I love the game of golf. It’s a sport that will be for the rest of my life. It ends there. I have a personal relationship with the game and it’s fun to play with my friends or by myself.
Unfortunately, massive money ruins everything. At this point, I could care less about the pros and their money issues. I’d continue to play and enjoy golf without the pros. They can have their money and all the issues associated with it. It doesn’t affect me. It doesn’t change my personal relationship with the game. They can all disappear tomorrow and I wouldn’t miss them. They can swim in their piles of money amongst themselves.

  5. ALEX I couldn't focus on what your said because I was watching the black wrist band with tassles on your left hand ,,,,mate take it off in videos

  6. Dude there is no way you are in a relationship, nobody could put up with your drawn-out storytelling, it's like listening to a chick

  7. The PGA Tour is not going to come to a meaningful agreement with LIV for two primary reasons:Jay Monahan and Tiger Woods. Monahan is not going to give up power to anyone willingly and Tiger doesn’t compromise with anyone. The other power brokers (the USGA, R&A, PGA of America, Augusta National, and the CEO of the DP World Tour) are in the PGAT’s camp presently. However, if they become frustrated with Monahan which is possible, Monahan could be left on an island. Much depends on how much money the PIF is willing to invest to force a merger. The fact that American investors invested $2.2B in the tour gives them leverage for some time. But sponsors are rightfully concerned and that money will only last so long with the tour doling it out by the tens of millions. So it remains to be seen just how long the PIF is willing to “negotiate” with Monahan before they go in a different direction and leave the PGA Tour on their own. Pressure from the other power brokers could force Monahan to come to an agreement.

  8. Extending the season would be STUPID. Players are telling you they need down time. And the LIV money is great for the players, but except for Bryson, every single LIV player is worse now than when they were in the PGA. They will have no golf legacy. The whole thing is a giant cluster

  9. And no, this doesn't take time. If they can do the Manhattan Project, they can figure this shite out

  10. The LIV tour players have already signed their contracts, are still working for their millions. Sure, they are some of the best players but, THEY made the choice. THEY wanted money over history and tradition(no hate), so they must LIV with those choices (pun definitely intended).

  11. LIV Golf ,the same People who financed 9/11 and the dismemberment of Washington Post reporter Jamal Khashoggi…15 of the 19 hijackers came from Saudi Arabia, the PIF is trying to get legitimacy on the World Stage and we are Turning a blind eye by taking their money even though they would end us if They got the chance….Disgraceful

  12. The solution is to terminate negotiations with PIF and move on. The PGAT doesn’t need PIF$ now. There are perhaps unresolvable issues with US anti monopolistic laws that can be avoided by rejecting LIV. No, watching Bryson is not REMOTELY a viable reason to merge with LIV. The PGAT with its new partnership has greatly increased the income potential of its players to the point that it’s unlikely anymore stars will be lost to LIV. If they didn’t jump before why would they now?

  13. Having been to an event, I think LIV golf is the future of golf and the boring PGA are a bunch of arrogant fools displaying ostrich mentality and subsequently, in danger of being left behind !

  14. To be fair apart from the Majors, Ryder Cup the rest of the PGA events are boring and not worth watching you just want to watch the best player sin the world not matter what tour they are on.

  15. All you have solved in your suggestion is the scheduling. Nothing about 24 other tours who meet requirements for ranking points. Have to solve the points issue.

  16. Liv blows. They get no fans out besides like 2 tournaments. They have no TV coverage. The players are becoming irrelevant on Liv Golf.

  17. Danny, don't care at all. These are super rich guys arguing over money, money, money. Let them go to hell, and let the whole world of golf fans enjoy their game of golf. I don't even watch top male professional golf any more. If you want to watch the best players, pound for pound, in the world watch Ladies pro golf; not sure how the Saudis would take to that though.

  18. And don't forget that most if not all those initial contracts are over or just about done, the TV contract with CW Network collapsed and looks like it just might be John Rahm vs ??? Yeah, The waiting game has done just fine and LIV NEEDS the PGA, and with The Season we've just witnessed The PGA doesn't need LIV, and now they want to start the silly season next year with team golf and other ideas???? Most PGA Pro's that are in the Top 50-75 want that time off, and besides has anyone heard of The NFL and even College Football, that's their Prime Time….Bye Bye LIV and Greggy

  19. For the fans: NBA, MLB, NFL..Etc have the best players in the world playing against each other..!! PGA and LIV does not have all the best players against each other.. No fun at all. Except at the majors. We, the fans, should boicote all this events..!!!

  20. I don’t have a problem with LIV. If I were a player on the Tour, I wouldn’t go to LIV, but I haven’t watched an event; it’s not something I want to watch. In fact, I only watch the majors, Fed Ex, the Players, Ryder Cup, President Cup and maybe a few other events, if I’m not playing golf myself. There is far too much good golf, just on the PGA Tour and there is only so many hours in a day. I have other things I have to do. 🤷‍♂️

  21. There is a reason that announcers do not shove their microphones up their noses – this video was almost unlistenable due to the torrent of "P" pops and thuds due to you holding your microphone way too close to your mouth.

  22. All about money and we amateurs are paying handsomely for our equipment and watching events. Personally apart from the Ryder cup I don’t like team events it should be players taking on the course over 4 days.

  23. No one should be supporting the Saudi backed LIV tour. Anyone who cares about humanity should point out that the Saudi’s killed an innocent journalist – their money is tainted with the blood of that event. Accepting any deal with them normalized their behavior. Shocking that the golfers have so little principles!

  24. US Gov't sells billions in weapons each year to the same Saudi's. Poor Rory got caught up in a losing battle.. and should learn to just play golf and shaaaaaddddduuuupppp!

  25. The greedy liv boys and their leader the ultra greedy Greg Norman have ruined golf for fans.I think Rory has either been bought off or is great friends with the greedy boys wheres his morals and why did he flip flop?

  26. It all comes down to one HUGE question: how do you pay the PGA loyalists? Can’t blame Rory, Scotty, Ricky, Colin, JT and on and on to just let the LIV guys back without big time compensation for their loyalty to the PGA! The financial burden is huge. THIS IS THE STICKING POINT that nobody can solve.

  27. Right now I really don't care what these guys do…When it starts putting money in my pocket and they start caring about Me, then I'll take a interest…for now the show goes on….
