Apple Mountain Golf Resort Vlog and Review | Camino, California

In this video, I finally visit the heavily requested Apple Mountain Golf Resort in Camino, California. This course has been vlogged by the @GolfFunatics and @DoubleBogeyBass in more detail – so please reference those channel for a deeper overview of the course. It is located 40-minutes, but really one hour from Sacramento, California. It offers a similar vibe to Truckee, California golf – without the burden of the price point.

  1. One of my favorite Nor Cal courses! Just got my first HIO on 7 there. Great job on the detailed description of each hole!

  2. Thanks, great vlog as always! I know you like to walk, but that course looks like it would wear you out from walking/hiking the elevation changes!

  3. I played there once and left with the impression that it was a long iron players course. We had a long wait on 17 and when we got to 18, there was group on the green, a group in the fairway, a group on the tee and 5 groups waiting. I wasn't going to wait over an hour to play one hole, so we left.

  4. Great vlog Lukie! Thanks for another shout out. You definitely have to go back when its dry and give your opinion on the greens after that, because I think they are on the upper side of great putting greens normally. Also, I love to walk a course as well, but you aren't walking a full 18 on the course and if you do, I'll buy you a beer 🤣😂.

  5. Just played there for the first time a few weeks ago and it was a fun (and very challenging) course. You were absolutely right when you said the course is about precision.

Can't wait to go back and play again!

  6. Was great to hear your take. I love this course during the spring and summer. Don't play the course around Halloween, they set it up in a format that is called Trail of Terrors. Pin placement on every green is in a location that your ball will never hold, and the tee boxes are moved to weird locations.
