  1. Some of those questions are simply vacuous – 'How will you celebrate?' What a stupid question! I know sports journalists are a bit dim, but there are a million technical, golf-related questions to ask… Lydia mentioned using a new/different wedge… I'd love to know more about that but I'm guessing these journalists either didn't understand what she said, or they don't care. How does that 2PM tee-off time change your approach? How do you prepare before a tee time that's so late?

  2. LPGA should not lose her and she will be a great ambassador for the game. What a young human being. ❤

  3. She plotted her way quietly around the course, whilst all the hype and coverage was on Nelly and Lylia. Then out of the blue she hit that amazing 3 wood on 17 in horrible weather and the rest is history. Congratulations❤

  4. Well played Lydia!
    What an achievement in 2024
    -A major title
-A Gold medal at the Olympics
-Is now in the Hall of Fame

Watching from Australia, who lived most of my life in West Auckland Nz,Congratulations!!
    🫡🇳🇿❤️

  5. So basically lydia ko is the greatest women's golfer ⛳️ in history
So lucky to have Lydia representing NZ so proud to be a kiwi ☝️

  6. That is SOO Lydia and exactly what makes her so adorable – She can't just say in response to that first question – as most would – ''I'm on cloud nine' or 'I'm overwhelmed' …her generous and analytical nature compels her to elaborate and explain WHY!! That is precisely why she is the ultimate Champion that she is and why she is such a brilliant Ambassador.

  7. The athletes in American WNBA could learn humility from watching this champion in action at a media conference. This is how you can build a bankable individual brand that everybody loves.

  8. Sky's Ms Stirk seemed to focus her attention on the bad 'Scottish weather 'every time she was on camera rather than the brilliant golf created by those wonderful women players at the incomparably brilliant St Andrews ? How come Sky and it's employees do not ever comment on players playing in extremely hot, sunny conditions , almost every tournament in Europe and the USA ,which is undoubtedly a danger to golfers' health ? I got the sense that certain commentators were enjoying the adverse conditions ,using it to belittle the host country ? Well ,toughtitty!

  9. She makes both NZ and South Korea proud. She's a great sportswoman, and even if she wasn't a hall of famer, she's just the best for her humbleness and sportsmanship. I'm sure she'll always have a foot in both countries, and maybe more so South Korea than NZ with her husband from there. No matter, because she reminds me of many greats of NZ past such as Ed Hillary, Peter Snell, and Murray Hallberg. Lots of confidence and positivity, but totally humble and kind. A little bit of NZ will always be in Lydia.

  10. pga players should take note of how she handles herself… smiling waving to fans etc Complete opposite to the majority of the men players who seem to ignore the paying fans…

  11. Congratulations, Lydia for winning the AIG Women’s Open at St. Andrews, The Old Course this week.

This win is the icing on the cake following your Gold Medal in the Olympics and induction into the LPGA Hall of Fame.

You have had an impressive run in LPGA competition and your hard work has generated wonderful results.

  12. Phenomenal champion and beautiful person. Everyone talks about the birdie on 18 but did you see how she birdied the par 5 15th? Just wow.

  13. The museum at the U.S. Open in Pinehurst had a question: Who do you think belongs in the Hall of Fame? I picked Lydia Ko. Now I am SO happy to say it’s true. Never will forget the 3-wood at Mediheal to win in 2018. What a Champion!!!

  14. Once in a generation human being, not just her supreme golf prowess but truly a great character! Thank you Lydia and CONGRATULATIONS!

  15. Yeah girl way to go didn’t she just win gold medal couple weeks ago 😲👏👏👏👏👏👍
