Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM) was formed and charged with developing, building and managing the most comprehensive baseball experience available on the internet. 1. Not sure who edited this but me thinks he was a Dbacks fan. Arizona announcer on Alonso homerun?? I don't think so!

  2. Mets bats have to show up every night. That doesn't mean they need to score big….but 4 runs a night should be the objective in order to give a bad bullpen a chance….. they won't win if they can't put 4 on the board through the first 7 innings. CREATE RUNS

  3. Minaea fooled me after first learning we signed him. He learned to drop his arm angle (I forgot who instructed him to do that ) and he has been 80% LIGHTS OUT! We just ned to get spectacular Starting Pitching to continue our race to a WC Playoff. Finally Alvarez got a Hit!! I would sit him more and play Torrens for a few games in a row. Overall, though it's like Casey Stengle always said …."Good Pitching Always Beats Good Hitting".

  4. If the Mets want to have a little chance to be still contender for the playoffs, they need to sweep the DBacks and the Sox, otherwise no hopes

  5. Manaea was lame when he was with us (Padres). Now since getting rid of all that HAIR, he's looking better! Lesson learned. Big hair – bad for pitching.

  6. Faddt unbeaten in 10….until he runs into the Mets.. I told you'll in another comment the Mets have a knack cooling off hot teams

  7. Jordan Montgomery looks out of shape – is he suffering from depression or injury? Feel bad for the guy ?

  8. Man, .. those Arizona City Connect uniforms are ATROCIOUS. I think that is literally a color called "Piss Yellow." Ugh.

  9. Another marker of how great Lindor is as a shortstop — he just got his 300th double of his career. The all-time leader in doubles for a shortstop is Jeter, who managed 544, but did so in more than twice the ABs as Lindor so far. Francisco is going to shatter many MLB records for shortstops … including both doubles and HRs (as long as he stays healthy). He's a phenom. Deserves more respect than he gets.
