  1. Look like a spaceship, i play with my Scotty Cameron Newport 2 and i miss lots of putts but not for that my putter is bad…

  2. After putting with my new custom fit LAB LINK.1 putter for an hour or two I am a believer in the balancing technology. Just keep your hands quiet and focus on speed, it feels so much easier.

  3. Looks good, seems to do its task very well, and is very good at aligning one's putt. It's a shame they missed spelt its name.

  4. Got paired up with a guy about 5 months ago who just retired from PXG. He was using this putter he said that it was still a ‘prototype’. Watching him pick up the ball with the bottom of the putter absolutely blew my mind. It looked like magic, or some weird magnet technology.

  5. Looks good- now that you have tested the LAB, PXG and Honu, Do you have an opinion on feel & accuracy, I think I know where you stand on looks.

  6. It's sad and embarrassing to watch supposed pro golfers get their heads all fkd up on the greens with their totally inane beliefs in long putters, weird putters (like this rubbish), the Aim Point rubbish, etc. Putting is totally in the head and the PGA and USGA are at fault for allowing this use of silliness putters into the game. We have rules about driver length and head size. It would be so easy to eliminate this stupidity on the greens by making rules on the size and shape of putters. Do it and make the sport a bit more about learning the game, not inventing new silliness to embarrass us all.

  7. I found an old MacGregor New very similar to the PXG in my barn I had forgotten about over 20 ish years ago.

Same concept. Same sight line, same shaft orientation or pretty close, and a brass face. Fantastic!

Just forgot I had it after moving years ago.

  8. Very interesting Matt!

I am a co-founder at Q but actually my first push into golf tech and brand was in the late 90s and given there is only 1 club in the bag where you are allowed to point the shaft axis at the COG, I was amazed no one was. So I developed the Puku putter brand – which was "center-balanced" as we called this then, and Puku was also the first dedicated belly putter brand, and had an adjustable length mechanism which we got through the USGA and R&A as conforming. (Later we sold this tech to a big brand)

The putter was, and is great, but we did not have not enough margin, and made no money, so moved on, and then the belly putter was banned of course !!

No regret about the adventure, and I am pleased to see LAB and PXG releasing models that are sensibly balanced. Face balancing is a silly idea, as it has the balance directing the face UP – which is of course perfect if you want to hit a vertical putt. Toe hang is daft too! It's like deliberately designing an out of balance car tire – why would you?

    Cheers Simon

  9. Wat da heo. Whatever, another marketing gimmick. All putting greens have different surfaces, each golfer read and putt differently. LOL

  10. So I use a rubber cup on the end of my putter to pick the ball out of the cup now but hate it. Can I get the ball out of a cup with this or is it too big?

  11. This is just a toe up putter, they have been made before. Toe up putters are low torque but not zero torque. I think that’s still going to be great for a lot of people but let’s not try and deceive people.

  12. Personally I like the old titliest bullseye, it still makes 30 or less putts per round, and great on short putts, with positive feed back if you miss sweet spot.

  13. Got to putt with one of these a couple of days ago. It was impressive! Quality of a Betti and a cross between a Spider and a LAB. I couldn't hit anything with it tho. I'm an arm lock guy so it wasn't set up for me.

It's a great contrarian choice for those who like to roll high end putters. I can see one of these in my bag in the future.

But there was nothing magical about putting with it. It felt like any other putter

  14. Oh boy, another "game changer". Corporate America has everyone repeating the same disingenuous nonsense.

  15. The truth is evident in the tour. There's no such thing as a better player putter. If a putter his ability to sink more pots, every player plan for dinner will be gaming one.

  16. Thanks Matt for the video on this product. I ran down to Lenox today to compare it with mine, and ordered one! During the testing of my Scotty vs. PGX I learned how much I was rotating the face and skidding the ball on putts. I can’t wait for it to be delivered next week!
