  1. As a Pats fan I really wanted to keep Mac and draft MHJ

Could see him competing for a starting job again in the near future

  2. Mac Jones will pick you a part with an O line and WR’s. Pats made one of the worse trades in the history of the sport!!! RollTide #MacJones

  3. As a patriots fan, it makes me happy. This is what he needs. Be a back up. That’s what he is. If your prints over, there gets hurt. Jones can come in and win a couple games for you.

  4. Not sure if Mac had that many completions all last season lol. Best of luck he got a raw deal with the pats

  5. I like how his 'best' throws compilation, is nearly every throw he made in the game 🤣
Dude is balling out, love it

  6. Hope he gets some playing time this year and does well. As an Eagles fan who lives in the Philly area I think I can be somewhat objective about Mac Jones. IMHO after watching a fair number of Patriot games, they did not have a talented enough offense, including the offensive line, around him. As time went on playing with that roster and system, Mac’s play declined as well as his confidence. As his third season progressed his game got worse and eventually deteriorated. The Pats had to move on from Mac (and their head coach) and Mac had to move on from them. The fall of Mac Jones as I see it was due to the roster, the coaching and Mac himself, perhaps in that order.

  7. As a pats fan I hope he proves me wrong, he’s a good dude I wish him nothing but the best. But also of-course a qb with years of starting experience looks good in the preseason. His first year in New England he actually had a good offensive line and coaching staff and he had a very good season for a rookie qb. I’m curious to see him get into a real game with a better o-line and a more stable coaching staff again. No bash on Bill, it’s just the end of his tenure he was totally abusing his power and his wants started coming before the success of the team. Best of luck to Mac.

  8. Mac Jones looks like a competent starting QB meanwhile New England's Offense continues to look sluggish and lackluster….

When are we going to accept the fact that you need talented receivers in this league.

  9. As a Pats fan, I’m glad he’s free from the misery that has been in Gillette the last couple years. I look forward to seeing him take Trevor’s job! 🙂

  10. I'm far from being an expert. When Mac was down, he was down. He tried to make plays that were not there, he would force plays, and again, when he got into his feelings, it was very visible. I recall him crying after a regular season game his rookie year. Best of luck to him. But this was Mac every pre-season.

  11. That throw at 1:57 will get him another job. The way he looks off the safety and then looks back to find the seem route was beautiful. Tank also needs to he playing slot for this team.

  12. Ive been saying for forever, it was not Mac's fault we sucked. I wanted ti keep him. I think Maye is not it.

  13. 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮 as a Patriots fan seeing mac jones do good in Jaguars kool sorry we ruined you mac good luck in Jacksonville

  14. I gotta say I feel like this is a really good spot for him and I don’t think we’ve seen the last of jones as a starting nfl qb

  15. Dude, I don’t care if this is preseason, but Mac deserves a second chance elsewhere. Maybe Vikings, maybe Raiders, something. But this game made me so mad because of how the Patriots destroyed Mac’s confidence. Seems like a trip back home got him back on his feet

  16. The problem with Mac isn’t the throws. It never was. It’s the runs. He runs like diarrhea. He’s as mobile as a wet box of turds. That’s a huge problem in the modern NFL, that allows any QB to be a decent passer and gives guys who can barely move their feet 300-500 more yards a season on the ground. His average passing ability is negated by his not getting any rushing yards and being off-balance, bumbling, fumbling as soon as a rusher gets within the same zip code.

20 years ago, he would’ve probably been a solid pocket passer on par with Marc Bulger or Kerry Collins or Matt Hasselbeck.

  17. Hope Mac gets a start somewhere and makes a playoff run. I’m a pats fan and always thought he had potential.
