Michael Leib has transitioned from journeyman Supercross racer to entrepreneur in less than five years. His companies – Canvas MX and Lucid Manufacturing – have found their place in motocross and in many ways, have changed how many of us think about motocross and off-road riding apparel. Leib’s newest venture – SMX Jerseys – has begun to fill a void and create a new niche for race fans, by producing replica racing hero jerseys that are available on an on-demand basis. Wearing your own motocross jersey to a Supercross is dorky, but what if you could wear an Aaron Plessinger #7 Thor jersey? That’s one no different than wearing a Jordan jersey to a Bulls game, right? We sat down with Leib to get the scoop on SMX Jerseys, only a few weeks after ordering our own David Bailey replica JT Racing jersey off Instagram!

Gear replicas could make big $$$ if you can even get the source materials like the fabrics ect to certain periods in the sport. If they are licensed it’s legit. I’m excited now.
You for sure can get energy drink logos printed the companies need to stop being so one corporate sided. If you make an Eli Tomac Replica ect. I’m sure Monster and other energy drink brands are willing to it’s just if they are willing to co-operate on a business level.
Some Sinisalo gear would be great. Wardy and rookie McGrath.
So SCREW SMX and anybody else that's not the rider, or the clothing company.
The ama, feels, already screw the riders. They earn NOTHING and suck the life out of the riders.
6D are rich kid helmets.
Great interview and subject. I have Thor Bud Lite MC pants, a matching jersey would be cool. Keep up the good work swap!
This is Soo bad! My bank account is going to suffer.
Great way to bring money into the industry and support the Riders!
