Ok i don't believe having clean grooves is always the best thing and I'll tell you why. I clean my grooves if i need a normal shot or spin. But…and hear me out. When i need the ball to release and roll 15-20 feet or so i like dirty grooves and i don't have to change my swing so I'm not hitting a shot with spin.
