  1. I have a white one with pretzel brackets, cane blades, and pointed tip blades, I also got that from Brian and I think is from the late '80s (quite coincidental huh?). We had it shipped to home but came beat up in the box (ridiculous UPS…), but I somewhat fixed the damage. Its 188x15mm motor has a startup sound, kind of imitates a typical 153, but performance wise, its great!

  2. No way! Another childhood fan of mine! I've seen these twice throughout my life in two homes I visited. The first one I saw many years ago was at a friends house in VA where I lived for 4 years. It was in PB and in a smaller guest bedroom. That was the first 5 bladed 42 inch GE vent fan I've ever seen! I was so attracted to it considering it was not in the usual classic 4 blade configuration! The second was a lot more recent, it was at one of my grandmothers cousins house on my dads side, in New Hyde Park, NY. It was in an office room, it also had cane blades like this one, but was AB. I definitely dig Dixie Belle's, I love them all!
