My high school gym teacher had the bright idea to make field trips to local sporting facilities. My insane natural klutziness struck again and I was banned first from the local bowling alley (I broke a bowling ball simply by dropping it) and then the local golf course (my distance was awesome, but I was driving balls into people who were on completely different holes). The field trip program was discontinued soon afterward.
