  1. “Their own selfish interest”.. shut up. Big business has always been selfish and they aren’t even the reason for success. It’s the product and the consumers. Players deserve to get the money over all these ceos and high ups that get private jet access and live beyond their means for no reason aside from greed. If anyone deserves to be greedy it’s the product and the consumers

  2. Jaime Diaz is full of it. Is he telling his audience that people on the PGA Tour are not in it for the money? Don't be a fool, Jaime.

I'm glad Savaricas was the adult in the room and put Diaz and Lynch in their place.

Those two are suffering from some serious LIV Golf Derangement Syndrome.

  3. These conversations are like a broken record at this point, freaking PGAT should stop being so salty, move on, improve your product, stop taking shots at LIV … NO ONE CARES.

  4. So even though Rahm clearly stated that Jamie is full of sh*t, you’re just gonna double down. Journalism really has become a cess pool.

  5. PGA and LIV in current form should never be brought together.
There is a lot of difference between them.
The fundamentals in PGA are strong. They have training programme for boys and girls, they have junior championships for boys and girls. There is a selection procedure to join PGA and LPGA tours. They are associated with USGA and R&A, with OWGR.

The LIV does not have any of them. They just buy players from the market, similar to Slave Trade.

It is always welcome to get new ideas. LIV should have consulted with USGA, R%A, and OWGR before they launched a 54 hole system with players bought from the market. They should have started Ladies tournament, juniors tournament. There should have been training schools for boys and girls.

Money just doesn't buy these things. But LIV could have used the Saudi Money in a much better way and could have commanded respect from the golf world.

  6. Rahm just dueled against the best major player of his generation last weekend. PGA tour needs to get this deal done ASAP, LIV has big names at the top and it's obviously competitive.

  7. Yeah right, i would be so upset with 200 million dollars. Are you people crazy. One needs to quit writing golf articles and the other needs to go back to Ireland. Tired of listening to them.

  8. Perspectives like the ones we're hearing from these talking heads are quite narrowly focused and always seem to center around the players being selfish or self-centered. Well, being self-centered is actually a very healthy thing. Focusing on your and your family's best interests is more complex than just making tons of money. In general, I'm not a fan of LIV in its current format, especially with the music blasting in the background. However, I think it's great for the players to not have to play as many tournaments a year and to have the three-day event. That means more time spent with their families at home where they can actually enjoy all that extra money they're bringing in.

  9. Living in a World where Multi multi millionaire Golfers are upset with taking 100's of Millions of dollars and having journalists debate about is pure insanity. Now get back to work everyone.

  10. They are all in it for the money, and the competition etc…that's a real exciting part for most players. Some went to LIV because the money was ridiculous, and no way was Kevin Nah, for example, going to make that kind of money on the PGA Tour. Others, like Rham, went for his $600M–who can blame him? Others stay; Scheffler for example, because sponsors and the competition matters more to him. I think PGA Tour players will stay sharper; the outcomes so far have proved this. Only a couple of the LIV players are really threatening in Majors. LIV is losing hundreds of millions of dollars, and it is not a 'business' that makes financial sense. They don't appear to care, as they have billions to play with. I'm a PGA Tour guy all the way….and I only care about the competitive part of golf….they're all crazy rich, some crazier than others.

  11. Great points being made by Jaime…. really interesting but expected. I would put Tiger and Nicklaus as two players that regardless of money they just wanted to win. No matter what win was the driving force as Steve Williams said of Tiger and the greats. Seve Ballesteros was another beast like that according to his late caddie who said he just wanted to beat you no matter what.

  12. This guy is hating. U ARE PUTTING YOUR FAMILY FIRST WITH GENERATIONAL WEALTH. HALF OF LIV ARE A LITTLE WASHED UP…I cant listen to a non golfer tbh..

  13. DUSTIN JOHNSON, JON RAHM, and PHIL MICKLESON are already in the later stages..Bryson and Brooks has merchandise sales with CRUSHERS GC AND SMASH GC.

  14. Wow, Jamie Diaz, a hypothetical "source" quote! STFU, you lost all your integrity when you came out yesterday, and today on the Golf Channel that your "source" gave a hypothetical and you're using that quote on national TV. You disgraced yourself, and obviously you are biased to the people that pay you THE GOLF CHANNEL, who has contractual relations with the PGA Tour. You'll take Korn Ferry 20 deep, against LIV 20 deep, I'll take all your money all day on that bet. Your animosity towards LIV is so apparent. Stop writing terrible articles, you're a disgrace to writers in Sports. George Savaricas should be hired full-time, he's so insightful, pushed against Jaime and Eamon Lynch. Lynch self-confessed he really knows nothing about golf, doesn't play the game with anyone on the PGA or Champions Tour, and does not converse with anyone on either tour. He also has is own agenda given to him by the PGA Tour and Golf Channel, one in the same. The hatred that Lynch, Diaz, and Chamblee have for LIV is unacceptable. The C-level Executives at NBC Sports/Golf Brian Roberts, Rick Cordella, and Tom Knapp should all be fired for putting up with this crap, I'd use stronger words but I need this statement to stand, trust me NBC will use all of their powers with YouTube/Google to have it removed. All of you should be fired, and learn what it corporate leadership means and looks like.

  15. Always easier to talk when you’re sitting at a desk and not the one who is offered hundreds of millions! Show me any evidence that brooks and John have gotten worse after taking the money….
