Tom Kim spoke to them media after his T-50 finish at the FedEx St. Jude Championship saw him fall to 51st in the FedEx Cup Standings (outside the top 50 who move on to BMW Championship). He was asked:
– How challenging is that finishing stretch with the pressure of all the projections?
– How would you describe the pressure you felt today?
– Will you play more in the Fall?
– When you finished 18 you looked back at the lake, what were you thinking?

Top 50 would have made him exempt to all ‘signature’ events next year. So it meant more than just advancing in the playoffs.
