What 24 Handicap Golf Actually Looks Like | Roundwood Golf Club
This is the second episode in our subscriber series, where our resident high handicapper teams up with a subscriber and member, to see who can help him shoot the best score possible in an effort to lower his handicap.
This week, he has been invited to Roundwood Golf Club, an incredible golf course located in Co. Wicklow. He is delighted to be joined by Colin, a fellow member of the High Handicapper’s union, who is also off a handicap of 24.
Can a fellow high handicap golfer really help our protagonist shoot the best score? Tune in to find out. Sit back, relax and watch some high handicap golf.

Hey dude. Glad to hear your back
69 members? That's very low to say the least!
could you explain the scoring system you are using? Why 2 points here or 1 point there? great video.
I have to many triples and quads.
Another great video Jamie, good to see the handicap falling , aim for 20 by the end of the year , won't be easy but will keep you interested in rounds when you're not having your best day , damage limitation can be a good tool to have when you're trying to get handicap down
You know you said your 7 iron was broken, is every other club apart from your hybrid, PW and putter broken too? 🤣
Another fantastic video. I am really enjoying following your golfing adventure
Great video well put together . What a lovely looking course must check it out one day.
Nice video, but I despise that Roundwood course with a passion
Very solid putting.
Chipping and pitching do need some work, but this will save you so many shots.
Good round Fella! 🍻
Great job Jamie! I had got to the same handicap as you but you are flying down! I've just got to 27.7 and the next big 'lurch' down is coming, I know it! I'd much rather watch your round than the pros, because I can see my game is so similar to yours, and being an objective viewer, can see where I can save shots if that makes sense! Loving the series, keep it up!
Thank you for a great video.
Yawn.
