Fresh off a good 9 holes at Two Eagles, we headed to Tower Ranch Golf Course. The day started well, with big drives, smooth approaches, and an under par score through 2 holes. Then we unwound.

I shot 15 over on the final 16 holes of the day. My scrambling game was horrendous; I scrambled only once out of 11 times I missed the green, including 6 times when I was green-high and had looks at salvaging par.

The main culprit was the flat stick, which is usually the best club in my bag. I lost my confidence after a 3-putt on the third hole and never got it back. On the front 9, I hit 6 greens in regulation but shot 7 over par! A double bogey and a triple bogey certainly didn’t help my case. On the back 9, I hit only 1 green in regulation and shot 7 over once more.

In addition to losing my confidence, I also got uncharacteristically frustrated on the back 9 and it really showed. It’s not my best look, but I’d rather show you the good and the bad than pretend this day didn’t happen.

There’s still lots to look forward to! We played 36 holes the next day and played much better. Look out for those videos soon!

  1. Tower Ranch looks like it has a lot of personality! Definitely putting it on the list! If your putting was behaving like usual you would've ripped it up brotha! Excited to see the bounce back next episode 😎👍

  2. Have you ever hit ping g5 irons or ping g15’s I’m thinking getting a set but don’t know which to get

  3. Yes your 5 footers are usually automatic, still a fun course to watch. Looking forward to your next video.

  4. Looks like a nice course, I've been wanting to play it next time I'm in the Okanagan. Happy Canada Day!

  5. Not your best but I like a grinder. I live near tower and play it once in a while. It’s an unforgiving beast when the game is off. Lots of great courses in the area.

  6. We’ve all had days where we should have gone home after the 2nd hole 🤷‍♂️ agree with your slope/rating assessment – definitely looks harder, especially with some wind.

  7. I know this wasn't the perfect round on the greens, but I'd still trade 60 yards of carry on my drives in exchange for Adam's putting skills

  8. Keep it up. I just shit on 90. Got 7 rounds on the new clubs. Shot 90 at a place I’ve never played at. Thought it was so much better until 18. I tried to blow the par 5 to hit my personal best and duck hook it after 17 holes into the water. After the penalty I’m still in play and drop hook the 4th into a river. I was looking at low 80s but I failed. Then 3 put said fuck off. Solid 90 something like that. 😥 I love this content.

  9. You should play Bear Mountain golf, it is located in Victoria and has 2 courses, both designed by Jack Nicklaus.

  10. I just played tower ranch thanks to your vlog … found many of the greens very deceiving with everything breaking to the valley…

  11. looks like a beautiful course. When covid is over I need to get up there from Wa and play some of these. In fact I'm gonna see what TGC has on offer and play some on there.

  12. Jesus Christ is Lord for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life

  13. I'm still loving your content Adam. You hit some pretty decent amatuer scores and can only imagine your frustration when your score gets ruined by 3 putts. I've noticed that landing short of the green seems to be a MOO for you. I suggest this because it's made a big difference to my game, but it's not bad to swallow your pride, take an extra club and get your ball past the hole. Often you'll land that shorter than expected and finish with an easy 2 putt. I'm generally confident with my 58° around the greens and like to think I can get up and down more often. I generally hit 26- 30 putts per round. Saves me lots of strokes these days putting away my ego.

  14. Good vid pal. Give yourself more credit. That little knock down follow through on the downhill par 2 on the back was money. Also towers greens are tricky to read, sometimes it looks like they break uphill. Subbed
