Playing Lesson With Coach Dave Fink | Rustic Canyon Golf Course
My first round with my new Mezz Max1 LAB putter at Rustic Canyon Golf Course in Moorpark, California. I have always struggled with putting at this links style course where the greens are large and can be very undjulating and tricky. Also my first round after 2 weeks off: i threw my back out hitting baseballs for the first time in 15 years. Not my finest moment.
I was a terrific putter for most of my golfing career but experienced the yips in 2021 and have been recovering ever since. LAB is the first and only putter to help me gain my confidence back on the greens. It feels like cheating. The club simply stay square almost no matter what you do. Insane science at work. This putter was fit for me through a virtual fitting and I can’t wait to go to Oregon to visit LAB HQ and get fit for the DF3. Beyond excited. Thank god for LAB. Bringing me back into form on the greens.
Sloppy ball striking, CLEAN putting, and a positive attitude all equal decent scores. I plan to get serious about my practice and play now that I have LAB in my bag and my confidence has been restored in my ability to score. More videos coming soon. Much love.

great vid, My best scoring rounds have been no blow ups and mostly Par's, 3 on &1 putts, not glamorous but it works.

@davefinkgolfs – brother, jumped off the ig., but I'm still her as an og follower. Just a quick update on the game…playing so much looser and when I'm not making good contact (because of my swing) I'm reminded of my lesson with you and the swing thoughts, and I step back and line up on the toe…bombs…dude. I'm starting to get the distance we knew I had in there. If you make it out to the East Coast again on an OG series, hit me up.
