The fewer moving parts you have, the easier and more consistent your golf swing becomes.
One of the most backwards things I’ve learned about golf is that you improve rapidly when you “do LESS” in your swing.
The moment I started “doing LESS” I began hitting laser straight and significantly farther.
The most noticeable change in my game was the consistency. It was refreshing to play the same from round to round. Week to week. Month to month.
I always thought consistency was something “just for pros” because they hit 1000s of balls all day long.
Nope. Consistency is for everyone. It happens when you know how to “do LESS”.
My free mini course shows you how to “do less” in your swing so you can play consistently great golf.

Your right elbow is so connected to your body … i need to practice that
That's definitely the way to go! Wow @SagutoGolf, your fun base is now full of cute bots 😅
I am hitting solid but left…??
Works Tommy Fleetwood too
👍🏻
Maybe it’s just me but it’s really hard to do those sawed off follow thru swings lol looks so easy in the videos but I can’t seem to do it well at the range
This is a must for me. I still think i have flip through the ball to create power and speed.. I am looking in the wrong places for power to create swing speed, but i can not chase numbers like swings speed. this is my next part of the swing that i have to conquer.
Did this yesterday and had a great round. Thank you
It’s a game of opposites, less is more..
You're just a square Tom LOL
Tom, could you please do a video on just your take away please. I try and emulate what you are doing, like in the first few seconds of this video, but can not duplicate. I would give anything to have that takeaway. Like a video where you take it halfway back. Like what feels you have and any drills to get this same takeaway.
The "square" club face at impact is the sweetest feel in all of golf. Though you've mentioned it often it still needs to be said that it is the ultimate goal of your teaching. The ball does rocket off the club face when hit this way. Many years ago Davis Love was telling amateur players that the #1 way to gain distance was to learn to hit the ball with a square club face. I hit SO many pure shots in my last round that I hated having to quit and go home. It's your swing but maybe more importantly the grip you use. Fix that grip folks.
Thanks for making the golf swing simple by reducing moving parts. I started following your advice a month ago, and my hcp dropped from 20 to 15.
Yeah, but where’s the release? If you don’t turn over your wrist you ain’t playing golf bud.
