QUESTION: Given what you said regarding the South Atlantic Red Snapper fishery, I have always wondered how to tell the difference between a Northern (ARS) Red Snapper and the Southern (Caribbean) Red Snapper. They are apparently two different species of actual Red Snapper. Researching it over the years, I don't think even the FWC knows what the difference is. Maybe someone needs to enlist an experienced Ichthyologist since this is a Florida Red Snapper issue. — John L.
