Starting the 2024 season, the Braves were assumed to be where they ended the season prior – one of the best teams in Baseball. The reigning MVP, Ronald Acuña was coming back…Spencer Strider led National League Cy Young conversations. The Braves also added Chris Sale to the rotation. With all of that – it looked as if the Braves would indeed be winning over 100 games once again.
But, on Opening Day, things were already starting to change. Sean Murphy would leave the game with an oblique strain. Following him was Spencer Strider, with a season-ending elbow surgery. Then – the biggest blow, Ronald Acuña would tear his ACL. Since then, more injuries have happened, luckily none being season-ending. However; Ozzie Albies, Max Fried, Michael Harris, and Reynaldo Lopez have all been sidelined.
This amount of injuries would be difficult for any team to overcome, even the Braves. And with their obvious struggles to navigate around the absences, frustrated fans are lining up to air out frustration on management. However, when looking at what was drawn up to be the plans for 2024… blaming management is far from fair. This team was destined for greatness, but have unfortunately been saddled with injuries.

All these injuries and people still blame Snitker and AA. Its hard to believe the lack of logic. These type of fans need to go pull for the Yankees.

Acuña Strider,Ozzie,Harris is just too much to overcome. I don’t like it.The excuse is valid.Throw in all the Underperforming Guys and it’s a Miracle they’re even over .500.
The Braves are gonna be back and healthy next year…sometimes you just have to ride it out through the rough spots like we've had this season. I think the Braves can still make the wildcard…they just need to go on a winning streak. The offense came alive last night and Soler is looking better at the plate now…I hate that we had to let Rosario go though but over all these guys are trying as hard as they can.
Snitker and AA are doing good, it might not look like it but they are….anybody who says otherwise is probably a Phillies or Mets fan…lol

Idk man, we were starting to struggle before the injuries. Ozzie statistically might be one of the worst 2B defensively in baseball currently. Olsen, Harris, Murphy have all been awful. The core of this team has been rapidly declining. I think AA and Snit get too much credit for the insane good luck we’ve had.
