Todays broadcast was the most boring commentary I’ve ever seen. Why no lines at idlewild?
Im sick of no ob lines painted sick of 30 to 1min puts sick of people in the way sick of the trophies that kids can make, sick of the events that are being put on come on we need Better representives in the american disc golf world be honest..our players deserve more and even our ams..who is with me.
I see nothing wrong with Will Schusterick's response.
If they keep letting men play in the women's division, they're gonna keep circling the drain….
I want to see more fights or arm wrestling tournament
With the increases and extra paywalls being added to DGN, the ridiculous live ticket prices, and then limiting players and prohibiting them from interacting with fans unless it's in a Premium Ticket Holder area, it's not hard to see that the DGPT is in trouble. They are damaging the whole of the sport by trying to monetize every aspect that they can. I miss pre-covid tournaments when you could attend for $20 meet all the pros, and watch Jomez without worrying that a paywall will be added next year or having to wait two weeks to see a big tournament or WORSE, putting the freaking USDGC behind a paywall. (still super bitter about that one) I'm very unhappy with the business decisions of the DGPT, but recognize that it has made touring life and payouts better for pros.
The dgpt or pdga should have a companion with a commentator and special guest. Take viewers questions and comments through obviously screened supper chats and what not. I could see this working better than trying to force people to pay for top tier.
what’s with the foundation shade?
Are you saying dgBt or am I going crazy? Slow down dude
Maybe someone from foundation will let you use their driveway/parking lot?
They Need To Shit Can Terry Miller
Terry Miller is a horrible horrible disc golf commentator
The ego on this guy thinking Uli needs to respond to him or even do a show together. You have 22k subs. You're like the bottom of the barrel when it comes to YT, stop getting ahead of yourself there
Not really selfish for promoting a survey and then asking them to put where you heard about the survey from and being honest about it.
Brodie just wants people to glaze him. He doesn't want his personal history to become public. is anyone up ?
Lmfao 🤣🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣 first I’ve heard of this crap 😂😂🤣🤣🤣 called it years ago when those money hungry scumbags decided to shrink the sport by making people pay to watch a niche sport that majority of people don’t care about … fkn hilarious 😂😂🤣😂😂
You do come off a bit dickish. I’m not surprised the pros don’t care for you!
My man selling the drama!! This is not keeping it 💯 just because you point out all the contoversy. Just because someone has the nerve to say it doeant mean its right.
Pdga and Dgn desperately need help from espn or another big name to pick back up momentum after this consistent drop in quality across the tour.
It would be nice if Prodigy would make it right with those tournaments Matt Zollitsch screwed the players over on. I played in the Jonesboro Open Am side in 2023 and we got no payout. Matt’s answer when asked was that the player pack was larger. They gave us one additional disc…
Great video.
Can you look into loft discs ?
They ran a kickstarter on March for their neon disc.
They still have not shipped it and it is now august 😡
I'm sure she's lovely in person, but good riddance to Zoe as a commentator.
Thanks for the video, gentlemen.
I guess that when your business model involves price gouging your customers, and producing videos which compare poorly to DG videos from 2010, it's easy to lose a lot of money. Why any person would waste their hard earned cash on live 480p30 instead of edited 1080p60 is beyond me. As a person in the industry, I hate to see anyone fail, but as they have actively prevented me enjoying the sport I love, I won't shed a single tear for DGN.
I had gone to am worlds and there was only 8 vendors to buy from. isnt that crazy? I remember like 7 years ago there was over 30+ booths. Disc golf is dead?
0.5fps 144p final rd lmao
I been saying DGN and DGPT been sucking the sport dry!
Ian and Cory, bring back Central Coast Disc Golf.
disc golf is dying
I used to play alot of AM tourneys but dont really play much anymore cause the prices increased too much and the payouts and winnings or players packs just didn't reflect the higher cost! $30 1day Am/Pro c-tiers with 90 players are one thing, even tho they norm pay out in vouchers, still not that big of a deal, but $90 2 day 4 round tourneys that are trophy only are weak af IMO! If it's not a AM championships (states) or worlds or something big like that! I just don't understand these giant Am only events that cost around $100 and have a $20 players pack and some little trophies made in the TDs garage!
Not for nothing, but Uli becomes a story when he has to withdraw from tournaments. That makes it a story, and people like me want to know why. At that point, you're just doing your job reporting on it. Assuming you had good sources, which I'm sure you did.
4:25 The consistency of the tone/inflection in the commentary, plus reading AM at the time stamp as two letters not one word/abbreviation… Swiss Cheese might be AI 😉
Tour is getting boring to watch this season. Especially MPO, the lead cards have been snoozers. Watching Gannon and 3 other guys is like watching someone make toast. FPO has been the highlight of the season. Maybe utilize the west coast a little more. Stop selling merch no one wants
So Valerie Mandujano hurt her shoulder slamming Uli to the ground, and now they are both out?
I laughed at the Hailey / foot fault
How do I find the poll?
Natalie Ryan indeed “burned it all down” with legal fees last year
Thank you for making your videos.
another excellent vid.
Yo I know drama does well. This is well documented in every social media. But there's an inflection point where personal gains from posting drama and controversy content starts to result in a negative impact on your channel and for us, the disc golf community. Look at the comments on this video. You guys (even if bringing up some truths) are fostering a real negative sense now.
Disc golf is a young and broke sport, and most of the companies got overly excited about a spike. The reality is that the spike was a good boost, and that disc golf is STILL growing, as is our pro game.
Commentary for progress and transparency is useful, but i feel like this channel yall have gotten too sucked into the benefits of drama posting, and now this channel is one of the more negative spaces in the sport.
I know yall have done a ton of personal effort a labor for the game that you guys LOVE. I stand by the praise i gave yall at champ cup, but i want to put my two sense in: if you guys are promoting yourselves to tournaments to pay you to cover it and provide media, your content shouldnt be so negative that the top comment is literally about stopping watching and consuming pro disc golf.
I know yall can rebalance it while still keeping the honesty about improvement in the game. It's not doom and gloom. Ive been in the sport for over a decade now and i can tell ya the longer perspective (people playing longer than me will especially know) that disc golf is in a pretty cool spot right now, and there is in fact time.
TLDR: please remember to have balance of positive and negative. We love disc golf and we can be both critical of aspects, AND love the game and those working to grow and promote it.
Love yall and still watching 😊
"Not the best look for Will". You guys are the biggest Karen's in disc golf.
No i played as a pro. Im impressed with these guys but not enamored. Especially at at 75 a person. Free im in.
😂 I was a dgpt scriber but they just plainly sucked and I continued subscribing even after a huge hike in price 😡 but the price they were charging was not worth the product they were producing, choppy blurry pixilation cut out crap not worth it ❤keep up the great work
Natalie Ryan should never be applauded or given any coverage whatsoever. He can find a new sport to poach.
Women are disgusted with that guy Nate Ryan competing in a womens division.
Terry and Doss 10x better than Ian and Phil]lo. Ian and Philo are the worst
The DGN phone app has stopping working for me. I’ve had to login on my browser to watch coverage.
Has anyone else had this issue? I want to support and watch the pro tour, but they make it so annoying.
See you guys at World's! Coming up from Austin to caddy MPO. Getting a RV park spot somewhere. I can see if yall can park there.
It would be really cool if we could watch more than just the lead card with lame "chase card check ins" I miss the days before NWO takeover #31 happened. When we have ace run pro, central Coast, GK pro, Gatekeeper media and more to choose from. Greed and DGPT are ruining disc golf
I have played the Prodigy Star series since it first began, I believe 3 years ago. It is a well attended, a well received event in the North Ga, Tennessee valley region. I have also received merch payouts for scoring high enough in my division. Honestly, I have never taken the time to calculate what I was owed, compared to what I received, but always thankful that I got something. I am not a Prodigy shill as I don't throw Prodigy discs. What I can say is that because of Prodigy and their efforts to grow the sport, especially Will Schusterick, we have new, good, courses popping up everywhere; in Cleveland, Tn, Dalton, Ga, Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga, Chattanooga, Tn, among the cities and communities in our area and beyond. They host a lot of tournaments that DG-ers come to, both local and away. I think that before we allow an MA4 player to control the narrative on Prodigy, or just the negative noise that a flailing media wants to pound the airwaves with, consider this aspect, and dare to report about the better side of what Prodigy is doing to grow the sport, and the infrastructure (courses) especially for the majority of the DG-ers, the amateurs out here. If you want to hear the positive side of their efforts and results, come to the inaugural, 3rd in this year's Star series, at Enterprise South, the the Corbettas in Chattanooga, Tn, (31 Aug) and I will be there and be glad to discuss my observations and positive experiences. Oh, did i mention 'Inaugural' tournament for the new Enterprise South disc golf course? Just in case it wasn't clear. Let's go!
