Disc Golf on Golf Courses: David L. Baker GC
Disc golf is creating a new revenue stream and an active player base for golf courses everywhere. In January, we visited Derek Uyesaka, General Manager of David L. Baker Golf Course in Fountain Valley, CA, to hear how disc golf enhances the facility.

There are more than 7,500 disc golf courses worldwide and the Innova Discatcher target is installed on more courses than any other brand. The Innova Discatcher is the official target of the United States Disc Golf Championship.
Since 1983, when Innova created the first golf disc, we’ve been the innovators of the game and more World Championships have been won with Innova discs than all others combined.

Ball golf courses for disc golf are so boring.
Hopefully we can play all day everyday?
One of the big draws for me to disc golf is that it's free to play in the parks. Why would i pay to play it when i can play multiple courses for free
I play this course every week and cant get enough. We call it the "training grounds" amongst my friends. Great space to elevate your game and work on distance.
Sweet! I look forward to playing next time I'm in the area. I think the fact that there are multiple holes that are par 4 is awesome! Too many courses in Cali are all par 3's. Also, I think it would be really cool to play disc golf and drive a golf cart!
Huge thanks to Derek, Innova, and all the local disc golfers for such a great course — and the best presentation of dual golf I've ever seen.
I checked out David L. Baker two weeks ago. While touring the course, I chatted with some long-time members of the traditional golf club. They have had nothing but positive experiences with the disc golf course and its players — which is a credit to everyone involved.
The video doesn't even mention that they have lights for night golf!
Staff in the shop was welcoming and helpful. And I snagged a sweet lustery-champ flat Firebird from their Innova selection!
Love this course it was challenging but in the best way possible I really got to wing the discs out there where as most courses I have to hold back or disc down looking forward to playing it again!
How much do you bribe these golf course managers to promote disc golf?
So good
Just add Foot golf with the disc golf basket. More customers. Profit
