Quivira Golf Club, redefining the Cabo golf experience
Built on one of the most stunning settings in the world, at the tip of the Baja Peninsula marked by sheer granite cliffs, huge windswept dunes, and rolling desert foothills 10 minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas, golf legend Jack Nicklaus designed a course that has redefined the Cabo golf experience.
Quivira’s dazzling 7,085-yard layout was recently voted to Golf Digestโs elite roster of the โWorldโs 100 Greatest Golf Courses.โ

Is the US government allowing Americans to go to Mexico?
The views are beyond stunning, certainly one of most beautiful courses in the world. However, it is also one of he most windy courses I've ever played (hard to keep a cigar lit or hat on) which will add about 10 (or more) strokes to first time player's game, which makes it one of the most challenging (not in a fun way) courses I've ever played. Not a course I'd want a steady diet of, but I've agreed to play it again in a couple of months. I would not recommend this course to any one with a handicap above 15. The courses on the Sea of Cortez are also beautiful (in less spectacular ways) and much more "playable"
