0:00 here in the uk waiting for it to come out 😅
I remember watching that one haha she killed it!
Jumps for chicks, corners for checks!
The lewis's need to learn to let eachother finish a sentence !!
What track is that? 1:11
Kinda sad seeing the fun literally sucked out of riding for these kids, while also remembering the fact that am titles mean absolutely squat in the big picture. Take it down a notch and let them have fun, please….
That first dad is a real piece of work.
Wow
11:37 Come on man, This is exactly why i hate being around public tracks. If your kid doesn't feel comfortable you can't show anger. This guy is trying to live his dream through his little girl and that's wrong. You got to let them develop on their own or they will hate it and you along with it.
Imagine talking to your daughter like that.
Wow that first dad 😬
We’ve all been frustrated at our kids at some point or another but it sucks to get the bad points on camera. The first dad seems very proud of his daughter but just has to remember it’s all for fun. The Lewis family both love story telling, it’s just too much over each other. Less story time for them next episode, please.
Love it!!!! Can’t wait for more!!
I crashed dad my bikes Bogging. Because you're blipping the F ing throttle. Way to go Dad teach them young . What you should have said was ok son well check it out and make sure the bike is ok so you don't get injured or killed. He automatically assumes the kid wasn't twisting the throttle enough. Id like to see him get out there and make a lap around GH. Rant over
If you ever wanted to see parents living through there children watch some of these parents (Not All) But I love your guys videos it definitely has the potential to be a top Moto channel especially the great amateur footage.
If you've never been a moto parent you can't really say how it's supposed to go. Kids wanna quit everything. They think putting the dishes away is too hard. The parents are just pushing the kids to not quit. And FR the kids are always happy to come back. Don't act like the parents make them do any of this. Moto kids who are good are a totally different breed. Not raised on playing video games and a tablet all day. Keep paying for your wifi to babysit your kids. We will keep ours at a race track. ❤️ to all the moto families.
Love this keep it coming
They should have interviewed the mom & dad separately. Probably the first dad in this series that's not destroying the child's experience be4 your eyes and most of his statements would've came across way more uplifting if the mom wasn't rite there correcting or contradicting most of the things he was talking about.😢
Kids needs to be pushed a little past their limits. They don’t know yet that they can achieve things. Best thing my dad did was get me into riding. When my bike stalled half way up a huge hill he didn’t come get me and bail me out. He made me figure it out. Great job Lewis Fam!
Reagans dad is such a tool. He’s sitting there saying its likely she has no future in pro motocross and continues to blow up and belittle her trackside, for what?. I think she has huge potential to go pro and ride with the big dawgs when she is older but he will probably burn her out on it by the time she is 16. I loved how when she’s on the gate and he’s yelling in her ear what to do she revs the bike to shut him up😂 dude needs to smoke a joint
I’ve seen moto dads way way way worse than any of these dads, I’ve seen dads screaming at their kids, yanking them off their bikes by the helmet for not passing a faster kid in front of them. I’ve seen em praise their kid for a blatant take out, I e seen moto dad come to blows with another moto dad over the dumbest things. Some parents are way to into this sport when their kid isn’t. My parents wouldn’t let me race, but we spent lots of time at the races watching my friends race. Here were my friends ripping on their two stroke 80’s as I sit at the fence on my XR 75 slow as hell four stroke. I loved riding tracks and ripping around the natural tracks we made around our house. Just couldn’t convince them that I wanted to race so bad. My dad hated two strokes, he said they were too loud. So I got to race BMX instead. I’m still a huge SX and MX fan. Those friends I watched as a kid became pros and did very well. Mike Keidrowski, Willie Surratt, Mike “Mouse” McCoy were all my good friends growing up. Only if my dad would have seen you could make a career out of racing. Well maybe not a great career back then because they all had to get real jobs after racing. But these days you can retire in style if you win races and championships
I raced all of my childhood, atv motocross. My dad yelled a good amount when i went pro am. It didnt bither me because i knew it was out of love. He put his life/marriage in hold and spent every oenny he had to take me racing, tje man was stressed out. If i was slacking off he gave me shit. He was giving me 100% to rsce the highest level of my ability and he expected equal effort on my part. He always said if its not what i want tell him and we csn go back to riding nkt racing.
Ive seen some parents be really hard on their kids. Really hard. Its nit out of anger or hste. Alot of these oarents are so far in debt for their kids its scsry, and nit alm parents ha dle it well or equally. You really cant judge this from the outside. You gotta live in it to understand the emotions that are in this sport. Its a dangerous sport as well.
Alot of my dads yelling was for the better and i understood it usually the next day. My best memories are at the trsck or trsveling to the rsces with my father. I woukd change the good and bad times for nothing. Thankfully my kids arent into racing, i say that because i dont envy the money parents,my fsther spent for me to go racing.
Too much to soon for kids. I doubt they last in the sport. They should be focusing on riding technique and being a kid. They will peak early and fizzle out. Hopefully they have a happy, functioning family after it runs it course.
an outgoing, educated English man <3
I don't think that pom was as gnarly with hus daughter as people making out. He's walking the thin line but she's loving it and hes respectful tho passionate. I can tell if she hated it he'd back off
The moms had attractive faces, but they seemed to “NOT EVEN TRAIN HARD ENOUGH” to control their own butts!!! Hey, the moms are top 10 but they need to get off their asses and try harder! How do you expect to be a MILF if you don’t start or finish well???
I love the raw emotions out of the Lewis family. Great show so far!
Only 1.5 episodes in and I’m hooked. Love the series and seeing the different family’s share their takes on the sport and how much work goes into something for such young kids.
I've been following Reagan for just over 2 years now, I knew right away she's got something special. Not to mention Reagan is one bad mama-jama. The best part….THAT FLYING PONYTAIL!!
In a sport notably populated with male riders, young or old, girls/female riders are proving they can and will ride peg-to-peg with the best. I'd suggest everyone pay close attention to Reagan, JaseyRae Jones, and Raycin Kyler. Those three ladies will take the female moto world by storm, considering of course parents keep a keen eye on possible burnout.
There's two types of riders ones that have been down ones that will go down.
Thes parents are traumatizing their kids do to their ego. These parents need to listen instead of push them to breaking. Develop them and not force something onto them.
Poor Jordan…his wife is insufferable.
mavs mom is cooked
It’s wild people think there was any abuse in this video. Pushing your kids to do better isn’t abuse. There are abusive dads in moto but this isn’t it.
My son was 8 when I got him a kx60 and took him to Hollister. For a year he rode there, I had no intention of racing, I just wanted him to be able to ride with me in vast deserts of S.E Utah. After a year I-we took a chance…. up to then I thought kids racing MX was dangerous and parents must be whack jobs. I was right. David took off, wheelied and fell, got up 15 seconds behind 15 kids. And then chased 1st place across the finish line. 2nd place from last. I was hooked. He did the same thing in the 2nd moto. I said to him "Good news and bad news:: You know how to race. And because of your finish you are without excuse". This was 1995. Ten years later, 200+ races, and 85% were 1st-3rd!. Almost all GFI/AMP, some CMA, Hangtown AMA , Glen Helen once a year. I didn't do much coaching:: "You do this, do that" because he was faster then me when he was 10. He would have made a first rate pro but he gets armpump and still does at age 38 but he's Very Fast, still goes to the track but Rarely races. And we raced ALL the fast Calif Kids. And many turned pro and had good results. And he doesn't crash, not often. Not crashing was worth a small fortune! Crashing hurts. He had some close calls, when the crash was happening I thought it was The End…. And in The End, most fast kids don't turn pro. and some stop riding. You must go with the flow, and there'a a Lot Flowing! For the fun, When he was 13 I put him on my Yamaha 250, bored to 305. He was racing 80 int. His 250 laps were fast enough for 4-6th in the Nov class so I put him in the 250 Beg…. Oatfield Ca. He waxed the class. I don't think he left 2nd gear. And because I never intended to race MX, the arm pump thing was not a big deal. He didn't want to try the surgery cures and I don't blame him. He had a rally nice amateur career and that's OK. enjoy the sun when the sun shines.
Yelling at our kids when they’re in the track doesn’t work. That’s how you burn them out. Ask me how we know.😂 we all know racing can be frustrating and intense though.
I find your use of profanity around and towards the children abhorrent. You're obviously living vicariously through forcing your children into doing what you wish you could have done.
Sad.
As a dad of 2 boys who's children raced from 2000 to 2019, a son of a dad that pushed me from 1976, I can say that these parents need to all race like I still do. I have never stopped. Then they don't have to live through their kids. I've seen it with almost every parent. Most parents are dillusional
I find it very sad that these children are pushed so hard with all the dangers thinking there going to make a living at MX. Biggest pipe dream of ALL sports. Making money at MX. 😂
Such a great series. Seems like most parents don't get it. Raegan is a beast. The entire series is great and on a different level.
Yelling at your kid while on camera, is not good for our sport or any other for that matter.
I understand as parents we want our children to succeed in their (sometimes our) chosen endeavours but we must bear in mind they are children and our frustrations easily add to their own.
A nine year old child training and racing is commendable and a positive step away from this generation's lack of outdoor activity, just bear in mind the line between good parenting and abuse.
With that said I go back now to figuring out how to finance my kid's first bike.
Mavericks dad should talk over and keep interrupting her some more
