  1. and he got it by J.D Martinez which is one of the best fastball hitters of all time, guess when you can throw it that hard you get it by him

  2. Is Ninja and Ryan Helsley ok with each other?… don't remember the last time The GOAT'd pitching content creator mentioned the potential GOAT of STL closing this year.

  3. Man…watching those three pitches got me absolutely JACKED. I wanna lift 1000 pounds. Go Big Orange

  4. Maybe it's because I'm used to people throwing ~100mph, but the difference from 100mph to 105mph seems like it's 100mph to 120mph. That extra 5mph is wild 🥶

  5. Whenever I see guys pitching 100+ miles per hour, my reaction is , "Oh, he has a Tommy John surgery in his future". Or some other arm injury that will alter his career. Often after a franchise sinks some serious money into a lengthy contract. Then a team's limited payroll resources are tied into one or more guys sitting on a shelf for who knows how long. And these are just the guys who made it to the Bigs. Unseen are the countless others who didn't get there when they blew their arms out permanently by being encouraged, coached & trained to try to be Nolan Ryan. Velo, Velo, Velo. We are so obsessed with Velo we are mortgaging guy's long term careers for short-term glory. This Velo culture is literally unhealthy. Velo is a sacrificial alter.

  6. Why do the Angels and Reds give the pitch cam to some guy sitting in left center? Or do they give the camera to their respective radio guys; since they don’t travel the radio announcers.

  7. Kike Hernandez throwing amazing eephi (eephuses?) to complete a shutout for the Dodgers!

  8. Well, one of the relievers I was talking about yesterday bounced back and played a lot better. Problem was, it was against my team! Funny how that works.

  9. Harmon Killebrew ☑️
    Frank Howard ☑️
    Willie McCovey ☑️
    Aaron Judge ☑️
    Glenn Borgman 😶

  10. As for Grant Holmes some NHL announcers like Barry Melrose would say he has some great lettuce. I am not going to go
with Chapman as the original king of the heater. I'll take Nolan Ryan but you can also say Bob Feller or the true flamethrower
Walter Johnson. Here's a nice tidbit about Feller he once threw a fastball that beat a speeding motorcycle despite the motorcycles
head start. They say it was about 86 but considering how badly he beat the bike some say the pitch could have been around 104.
Lastly what made Johnson really scary was back in his days they didn't have night lights for parks yet and they also didn't rotate the
balls out. Can't imagine facing Johnson at night.

  11. Fans don’t go to the ball park paying lots of money to watch your favorite player to be walked with no outs ! I understand that it’s part of game strategy, but this is not good for MLB.
