Matt and Dom discuss the newly announced criteria for qualification for Team Europe in the 2025 Ryder Cup. What will these new metrics mean for players like Jon Rahm & Tyrrell Hatton, who will miss most of the qualifying events on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour?

The PGA tour owns over half of the DP world tour.
olympics will replace this nonsense
Sergio. What part of Sergio is still playing elite golf don’t you understand?
Also Meronk is becoming a key euro. That’s 1/3 of the euros top 12 imo.
Also imo these LIv players should not let the DP world Tour— which seems to be run by the pga tour now —make them pay a FORTUNE to represent t their continent while Americans are hinting at needing to be paid;
Which they really should be paid considering how much money the top players help this event generate.
European team picked based on how players perform on an American golf tour…? That's kind of ridiculous, isn't it? Shouldn't they rather pick European players who are supporting the DP Tour and playing in Europe…but it seems they are only interested in shoving it to players on LIV…just saying
Rahm and Hatton should just show the finger to Luke and the DP Tour and stay out of it…let the Europeans see their ass and see if that changes their minds going forward.
Maybe the PGA,DP Tour and Presidents Cup Team can then sit down with LIV and decide about an end-of-year Round Robin event between 4 teams…something golf fans all over the world would want to watch.
Luke will have a team (spirit) wanting to play and is why Europe are so successful, we won without LIV Golfers, and if Rahm, Hatton and Meronk are not selected, so be it.
