During the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour season, there have been three sub-60 rounds: a 57, 58 and 59. Cristobal del Solar of Chile set a record for the lowest round in a PGA TOUR-sanctioned event when he shot 57 at the Astara Championship in February. A day later, 19-year-old Aldrich Potgieter became the youngest player to shoot a sub-60 round with a 59. In April, Frankie Capan III fired the second 58 in Korn Ferry Tour history at the Veritex Bank Championship. The three players sat down together to reflect on each of their rounds, what it felt like in the moment, the mentality it takes to break the 60 barrier and more.

David Carey was the first to shoot 57. And he was the only player to shoot in the 50s that week. Such a legend. Watch out for him soon!!
Damn I’m literally 2x the golfer of those guys
I was at Texas Rangers GC when Frankie shot 58! Watched him the last 8 holes. What a treat to witness and what a class act this young man is. He will definitely win on the PGA tour before you know it!
Course Record WAS 59… (some dude named Scottie Scheffler playing with his crew.)
