Stunning GOLD COAST Resort Course: The Glades Golf Club

We finally made it to Queensland, well half of the Tredam team did, Trevor is on a later flight which left Damien alone to enjoy one of the most spectacular golf courses he’s ever played, The Glades Golf Course on the Gold Coast.

With water on nearly every hole and some completley covering the tee you’ll want to bring along plenty of spare golf balls just incase you lose a few.

That’s not to say that this course in unfair by any stretch, some of the holes have very generous sized fairways and greens, but don’t let your guard down, because there are strategically placed bunkers all over the course, ready to catch a miss hit shot.

There are many candidates for a signature hole on this course, from the stunning 10th where you tee of with water all down the side, to the amazing finishing hole where the water cuts in closer to the green leaving you with a daunting approach shot.

If you find yourself on holiday anywhere near the Gold Coast then you would be remiss not to find your way down to the Glades, its a golfing experience, a typically beautiful Queensland resort course with so much more to offer than just its good looks.

The people are so friendly here, they truly want to you to having an amazing experience, with prices ranging between $65 to $85 with a cart it’s great value for such an amazing course, you wont regret teeing up here, although if you’re a middle of the road golfer like us, you may want to use second hand or cheaper golf balls, doesn’t feel to good emptying a box of TP5x’s in to the water 🙂

  1. Heading up there for 9 days at the start of March. The darl is letting me out for 1 day of golf. Going to get in 2 courses in a day, but so much choice! Thinking Surfers Paradise and Royal Pines, but these videos may sway me!

  2. I'm a Gold Coast local and my cousin just came up for a golf tour. Did 6 courses in 6 days this week. The Glades was definitely the most challenging due to the bunker placement on every hole but the greens were incredible. Best we have ever played was at this course.
