  1. This is effective, I found an extra 15 yards of carry on my driver almost instantly. Unfortunately that whipping extension through the ball caused an oblique strain. Be careful guys, warm up properly and if you feel strain on your oblique through extension STOP. I tried to keep going and ended up in real debilitating pain. I am now probably looking at at least 3 weeks without being able to swing a club. I will be doing work to strengthen my core and can't wait to continue to work on this.

  2. When do You straighten Your left leg ? The question seems stupid, but when You rotate with significant forward shaft lean through the ball, You have to stay deep to have good impact and cannot jump up and get tall. What is Your feel or timing for extending left side?

  3. I tend to squeeze the club when I try to rotate hard through and close the face. I hit it farther but pull a lot. How can I correct that. I love the drills Thanks

  4. The preset impact drill is the most effective and frustrating drill I've ever tried. I setup exactly as you said and started hitting balls, I had no weight shift with minimal back swing and hit the ball with a beautiful draw over and over. I have literally NEVER felt this kind of compression before and I've been taking lessons for 7 years. This drill made me realize three things:
    1. My ability to rotate is so poor that even a half swing from the preset impact position is superior to my regular golf swing in every way. This is why I'm frustrated by this drill.
    2. I'm going to play my round tomorrow starting from the impact position and see what I shoot.
    3. You earned my sub and I'll be working on the whipping drill next.

  5. ? Is this similar to the move Sergio makes? I practiced his shoulder turn and Fleet woods finish and was flushing it and my h better distance. But lost feeling🙉. Hopefully these 2 drills get it back!

  6. Ive been doing this for a month now and havent seen much distance gained but am going straighter with the extra compression. Being mid 50s it does require warming up properly to be fluid, which is usually hole 3 or 4 on a cold morning 😉
    I strongly suggest working on core strength and flexibility, including glutes, which has helped me..

  7. Pretend you are chopping a tree with an axe. Back slowly put your arms into the down stroke and power the axe into the tree trunk as if you were going to slice the tree off it’s roots. Swoosh happens after you slice the tree trunk off it’s roots. 😂😂😂 There, explained in 15 seconds. 👍👍👍

  8. Thank you so much for this video. First let me say how impressed i am that you hit it so well with your handicap. Second, you're right…I don't believe I've ever seen anyone teach whipping the club through the zone this way. I'm going to devote as much time to these drills as I can and hope I get somewhere near the results you claim.

  12. I’ve been working on this and can create a nice whipping with a lot of speed – BUT I have a hard time keeping an eye on the ball at the same time – I feel like I’m swinging blindly …any tips ?

  14. So… is this something that I have asked multiple coaches. Three of them I've worked with in person and a few of them online. Do you actually whip the club from top to bottom or do you forcefully move the club from top to bottom. Nobody seems to be able to give me a straight answer. Because there is a very different sensation between whipping up and whipping through pulling up and pulling down
