Great choices boys
Lahinch beckons
I thought Cashen might sneak in but we are blessed for choice in this country, if a golfer could only golf in Kerry for the rest of their life they wouldn’t be disappointed with the options! As a county has it the collection of best courses in Ireland?!
The Irish Open rota I assume 😂
Have you played Old Head?
Boys you need to get yourselves up to Carne in belmullet well worth the trip, best course I ever played.
Maybe not of the level of courses you guys have been lucky enough to have played but I played Galway bay and thought it was beautiful too …..haven't been lucky enough to play those you mentioned tho I'm only about an hour from portush so maybe some day soon as we went up and seen Lowry win and it looks class also got seve ballesteros golf ball at mount Juliet and signed my programme something I never will forget as he's my all time hero ………
Been to Ireland 10 times to play, always play the links as they are unique to Ireland and Scotland. My top 10 would be Ballybunion, Lahinch, Donegal (Murvagh), Carne, Enniscrone, Rosses Point, County Louth, Royal Portrush, Royal County Down, Portmarnock Old. The last 4 we have only played once, the others multiple times. Usually the best part of the day is the people we meet and the pint at the club bar.
Adare manor is in Limerick lads
Just played the 3 Rosapenna Courses last weekend. 3 brilliant and totally different courses on the same stretch of dunes. Well worth the 4 hour drive!
Just played Ballybunion Old for the first time and St A old and new for the first time within the last two weeks. Folks are shocked when I say the old course at St. Andrews was my least favorite of the three. Ballybunion old is far and away the most pure and beautiful course I think I’ve ever played
Nice work 👍👍 well presented
Carne belmullet
Not sure how you included Portmarnock but left out Royal County Down, Lahinch and Waterville? Wonderful country, wonderful people, wonderful golf ⛳️
I have to say I was largely underwhelmed by Portmarnock compared to Tralee or Waterville.
Northern Ireland is a different country dickheads. So the no1 course isn’t in ur country lol
New course at Rosapenna, St Patrick's Links is unreal.
You should play Arklow. A poor man's European Club
In over 45 years of playing, mountjuliet, trump @ doonbeg and killeen Castle are my personal lifetime favourites
Can't begin to tell you how good Carne is. As for parkland Concra Wood is a must
The old head course
Whoa whoa whoa booger boys. Don't pop off the mouth with shxt like better conditions than Augusta. How about….as good a conditions but not better. You take the top 200 courses in the world and you splitting c*nt hairs. Why do I know this? Ok….carry on
Baltray 👍
Trust this means you haven’t played Old Head. If you HAD… and it’s not on your list- that would make this project an entire sham
No Lahinch?
The Island, Donabate.
No Lahinch? What's wrong with you guys?
Certainly lots of good courses mentioned here, all but one! I wouldn’t play on ANY Trump owned course if my life depended on it.
European course is such a beautiful links
This video promises the top ten but only delivers five!? What's with that? Is there a following vid? Also, folks are wondering about the lack of say Royal County Down. Was this video only supposed to list Ireland courses or Ireland and Northern Ireland?
There are plenty of ususal suspects and no shortage of great links courses, but The Island in Donabate in North Dublin and Carne in Belmullet in Co. Mayo are hidden gems.
I recently stumbled upon your channel and I am loving it guys! Hard to argue with that top 10 although I would advise a visit to Portstewart in the near future to dispute it 😅
Ireland must be a contender for best country for golf
There is too much emphasis on conditioning. You have ANGC disease.
As mentioned below Concra Wood is a must. Did you have to mention Trump ?
Just played Lahinch and have to say it is in OUTSTANDING condition. Have played it lots but never remember it being in such brilliant condition.
Ardglass in Co.Down brilliant course to play
Adare is Limerick not Dublin
I genuinely believe when ye finally get to go play carne it will easily make it into the top 2 course ye have played its like nothing else simply stunning
My best 5 …(only in the southwest Ireland).. Ballybunion, Old Head, Tralee,, Waterville, Lahinch Old Course.
Maybe do some courses that aren't over 300 a round, but you're just part of the industry. Adare is ridiculous, never open and a bane of the local community.
Lahinch – RCD – st Patrick’s – carne – ballyliffin – Ardglass
Great selection on golf courses, I must go over to Ireland for at least a month when I retire. Ireland is a credit to world golf.
You need to go to Rossapenna the three courses are fantastic.
Portmarnock is a fair but tough links you not mention The Island, European, Waterville and then there is Ballyliffen (2) courses and Rossapenna (3) courses and Lahinch, Ardglass, Royal Portrush, Portstewart, Ennis rose, Rosses Point, Ballyconneally, in fact Ireland has a multitude of great links courses any visitor will be spoilt for choice there are so many here.
