I'm one of the rugby fans here for LRZ. But your assessment is more than fair. He said himself he's got to stop thinking and you almost watch him thinking on his reps.
I like the boxing analogy. Another way to think about it is you learn by making mistakes. He's got about 10 years worth of mistakes to make (high school and college). You can't do that in weeks.

And while Prince's pitiful preseason last year caused the bandwagon to blow a tire it looks like he's back on track this year. I'm still optimistic and excited to see the guy climb towards his full potential.

You boys will see LRZ in person soon as I just did. He looks like he doesn't belong, sticking out like a sore thumb. His locking is non existant and he doesnt know how to read blocks. He either can't or doesnt know how to make cuts without slowing down with odd, choppy, baby steps.
Montrell is likely to have a big pre season and either get traded off for a 7th, like last year, or get poached off the practice squad. He's made a ton of flashy plays but its always against the 2s and 3s. It could be a very similar trajectory as ISM last year.

No wide receiver should be cut in front of Hardman. Because Hardman is our worst wide receiver by far. Not even close. He can’t track the deep ball and his hands suck.
