  1. ngl listening to Jarrod talking about KP makes me think he might be on the ASD spectrum. misses social cues, "you dont know what its like to be me", unusual way of looking at world and behaving. also, numerous faux pas etc.

  2. As a spinner I remember he had Michael Clarke caught close in just before stumps in the Adelaide Test of that 2010/11 Ashes. Part time bowler getting one of Australia's best out, match winner extraordinaire

  3. He’s a bloody awful radio commentator, don’t know if he’s any better on TV as I listen to radio commentary

  4. Kevin Pietersen: "I speak plainly and if people were offended, it's not my problem"

Also Kevin Pietersen: "Swann and Broad were mean to me 🥺"

  5. Brilliant cricketer and he got to where he is because he is not only supremely gifted it is also his personality which works for him to be successful. However, there is a trade off with that type of character. He is not that interested in other people especially if they do not have his talent. Most of his friends are famous people or great cricketers. He does not entertain normal in his life. Hence, he will always divide opinion. The fact that he became such a great batsman is incredible because as a youngster he was known for being an off spinner that battted.

  6. KP was KP as a package. England screwed his career. Cricket was at loss because they ended his tenure prematurely. Should have managed him.

  7. Now, I have heard Jarrod mentioning about Rahul Dravid interview in more than 5-6 videos. Where is the interview? Why is it not uploaded yet?

  8. He had a lot of faults and definitely would grate you. However, he owned it and never pretended he was something different! One thing he never ever would do was leave in the middle of a series like Swann did! Who portrays himself as a team player! Laughable! Kevin didn't like the environment during Strauss's reign, and btw, he wasn't the only one! Even Broad on Simon Jordans podcast admits he didn't enjoy it!

  9. This is slowly becoming my favourite cricket podcast, the kind of topics covered are fascinating, keep it up 👍🏼

  10. 50 years of avid cricket watching, KP is my favourite batter. Love how he would take on the fastest most hostile bowlers. Brave and confident in his ability to be better than the rest.

  11. He was Bazball, before Bazball was Bazball. The main thing that I feel like rubs people the wrong way, is the fact that he was someone that wasn't going to take any BS from anyone. Personally, I completely respect that mentality.

  12. KP was more popular in india than in UK,he was always in the news for his on field activities or off field activities, i absolutely loved everything about him😍

  13. Can't forget that KP innings against Steyn in England .. the way he was whacking Steyn all over the ground with such dismay .. Steyn was at that time the premier fast bowler of his generation … Haven't seen anyone play that way against the premier fast bowler … Viv Richards was before my time .. heard he used to do the same …

  14. KP is not better than Joe Root, and that's not a knock on him. He's charismatic and speaks his mind, often getting him into trouble.

  15. Its so interesting to hear about players from england australia being weird and on the subcontinent side it is very very rare for players to be not just normal humans who are competitive

  16. Kevin Pieterson is born in YEAR of MONKEY. Extremely brilliant clever brainy skilled. But they wage war against their own team mates. They have private agenda. They put down their team mates. KP was brilliant at times but lacked leadership and human interpersonal skills. Find who is Kevin pieterson friends in the team?

  17. I never agree with Jarrord kimber analysis. I dont know why but we think different. But he is greatest euology writer ever. He can write biography on anyone and make it fantastic read. But i dont like his analysis. He is he , Me is me. Meaning is that he has to do with what he knows. Some tricks some stunt…Lots of people fall for trick. That said you can never say he is not working hard to prove his theories have valid merit.

For me his analysis and opinion have no validity. Interesting but no actual value in real game.

He go by numbers which says nothing about the context.

This is world of energy and kryptonites, number has no say.

  18. That said i follow jarrord kimber from days of cricket with balls. I am fan of his writing. I read every word he says when write his articles. he tellls story with his words. he has the extreme gift of story telling because it seems he observe keenly and convert it into words that tells like man who watches with microscope. I dont think anyone have that gift. He is very special. He is better than all the writers combined in cricinfo. No one write better cricket article than jarrord kimber!

  19. Why is it the media don’t understand sport and sportsmen and question their ways and attitude, not everyone is the same vanilla character and when it comes to sport if you haven’t learned that by now then seriously what are you about.

World class sportsmen aren’t built like you they don’t think like you or I for that matter yet you voice an opinion on what someone tells you, fortunately I have a brain and I’m lucky enough to have met great sportsmen and I’ve been in a dressing room and it’s full of characters you just except because they are brilliant and are different but they have a talent like most will never come close.

I’ve met most top sportsmen from cricket especially as that’s always been my passion however I don’t give an opinion based on what someone else told me, I have an opinion on what I know first hand from meeting people and I respect them all and yes I certainly haven’t liked them all but I played my sport in a way most didn’t like me because they actually never got to know me whilst those who did will give a different opinion.

  20. i know it's become a bit of a cliche to diagnose the mental health of strangers on the internet, but i'm convinced KP is on the spectrum, same with smith. i mean, more obviously with the latter.

  21. The English generally don’t like flashy people. I think there is a certain amount of cultural differences

  22. Met him during the Ashes in Perth. One of the nicest blokes you could meet. Down to earth and gave the time to have a chat. Very very rare for 'famous' people.

  23. If Kev Pietersen went to Australia or NZ, he would have had statues all around the country .. England take offence on anything and everything

  24. What Jarrod was saying about KP and missing social cues has got me thinking that KP might actually be Autistic it's such a common trait among us and aswell alot of autistic people that are popular people for some reason outside for like medical/scientific fields they tend to be very polarizing people because they think about things differently.

  25. Heres my opinion i met kp i found him relatively nice. He never did drugs or broke laws, other people assaulted got drunk etc whilst others like ben stokes assaulted people get a pass. He got along very well with michael vaughan, duncan , freddy, darren gough and first england team they liked him.
