I have played 7 of those courses and I have to tell you you are missing a handful of others that could have made your list. Limestone Springs in Oneonta and Cider Ridge in Anniston. I played Gunter's Landing and I didn't care for it at all. 2 other courses you should check out are Ballantrae in Pellham and Timberline in Calera. The RTJ courses are all top notch but these others I mentioned are mighty fine. Btw, Farm Links Location is pronounced…
Sil uh caw Guh (Sylacauga)😂
Silver Lakes and Cider Ridge are my home courses.
What the hell is up with all these 7000-8000 yd courses damn!
I’ve played many on the list and Gunters Landing is my favorite. I drive 50 miles to get there regularly!
I prefer playing Blackberry Trail and Cherokee Ridge to the 7000 and 8000 RTJ courses in the shoals.
I prefer a 5000 to 6000 yard golf course.
Magnolia grove is a great course , but I wouldn’t give it top 10 I play this course everyday and it’s one of the worst rtj courses , Dothan’s is nice as well
After Ross Bridge my favorite RTJ is The Links at Grand National, an absolute beauty.
Cherokee ridge should definitely be in this lineup in my opinion
Not a bad list. I've played most of the trail, and the Shoals courses are BY FAR the most underrated. Those are easily two of the best on the trail. The location and condition they keep it in year round is second to none. There's a couple others I could add that you didn't mention, but I don't want more people to know about them lol.
