Cam Reddish seems to be unanimously known as one of the most talented young players in the NBA, yet every year he seems to disappoint. Today we cover the story of why one of the top young prospect’s in recent years has turned into one of the biggest NBA draft busts.

  1. He has had an ankle injury that he has consistently missed time because of since Duke. Its whats keeping him from being consistent and getting off the ground as a Star.

  2. He isn't being used correctly, just standing in the corners isn't going to build his confidence, solely playing defense and not getting offensive chances totally crashes 1s self-esteem..

  3. It’s about perspective. Bro failed in the NBA. But won at life. He’s still made $21 million before the age of 25.

  4. As a Duke fan, people really fail to realize that Cam committed to Duke before Zion and RJ. I really love Cam Reddish, but really wish he decommitted after specifically RJ committed too. It was great to have on the team, but it seemed to stunt his growth and confidence that he had so much of.

  5. He’s still probably one of the best one on one players in all of basketball the problem is in a 5 v 5 if you can’t consistently shoot you can no longer play in the nba. If he gets a consistent 3pt shot and the defense has to come close to him he will then be able to showcase his atheletic ability and finish at the basket until then he’s simply not a viable nba player. See Russel Westbrook, Ben Simmons. Hes really not a bust the league is situational even at duke by him becoming and off ball player that negates his best skills. He simply needs to learn to shoot really well from three and not off the dribble. That’s it. Not everyone can have the ball in their hands in the nba that’s a. Privilege afforded to very few

  6. You can be so talented you never have to learn how to compete. And then when you do, you think its unfair.

  7. He's been so important to the Lakers at times & LeBron just believes in this guy so much.

He is definitely difficult though. You can see that he doesn't even like the pressers. I hope he does better & I would e call him a bust. He is what he is.

  8. If he was my son I’d be very proud of him/rich, I’d say he succeeded in the NBA by getting picked where he did and acquiring generational wealth for his family which is the most important aspect.

He definitely didn’t live up to draft expectations but could play another ten years for more than the minimum and I don’t think anyone would be surprised. Lots of talent

  9. So you just make videos hating on individuals? Lol. If he’s a bust, what does that make you…? I’d still take his life over yours anyway broski

  10. Lowkey he can still recover when he gets in a situation where he’s allowed to create. He gotta stop with the three ball tho

  11. Cam gotta embrace a role of 3&D to succeed in this league. That gets you paid (look at that horrible deal the Suns just gave Grayson Allen 😂). Too many mouths to feed on the Lakers. If a team like the Mavs were to get their hands on him it’d be open shots galore for him 😬. All he’d really have to focus on is his defense.

  12. He’s definitely not a bust … the bust is the development of these young stars in the league . No 18-19 year old should go to the league unless if you have it all together. Too many people are in their ears tellin em to go

  13. Cam problem is he still living incl this world where he was so good in high school. He was doing fine on the hawks but he wanted out to be a star on a team

  14. HE SHOULDVE STAYED IN ATLANTA! He messed up his whole career leaving there. He was developing nicely on that young team and he wanted out 🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️

  15. Cam needs to figure it out otherwise he'll be long gone in nba. he needs the mamba mentality, i wish kobe still alive to train this dude

  16. I think he would have been better if he was able to go to the G League straight from high school instead of going to Duke, or if he just went to a different school.

He had a pro game.. but I think being forced to play into the system, on top of being the 3rd option in that same system.. messed him up in a lot of ways. Just an analysis

  17. Cam Reddish – Charmander
    Brandon Ingram- Charmeleon
    Kevin Durant – Charizard

    It’s levels 😂😂

  18. Im here after the hawks 1st pick and i remember thinking cam and trae WOULD DOMINATE THE LEAGUE im all for underdogs but he disappointed me and he was on my trailblazers and really disappointed me

  19. And to think they ranked him a higher espn prospect over RJ lol barrett already looking ready to break out with the raps next year

  20. bc he went to duke and it fucked up his confidence from there bro could of went anywhere and been that guy and confidence would of went up and transferred to the league

  21. If he gets more humbled , he can be a very good role player 3and D lockdown defence and 3 point open shots , all he needs is not getting bad offensive decisions
