  1. they have 3 women and one ghaye on here and we're all just supposed to ignore it looool

  2. "Rise to the occasion?" What can a QB do when he leads his offense down the field and score but the defense gives up another score?

Chargers have the worst defense and have been in a lot of offensive shootouts because of it.

Herberts not overrated. You put him on the dolphins and I guarantee he already has a super bowl

  3. You see how quick they come to the defense for a guy like Herbert lol. Can’t have their golden child getting criticized even when he accomplishes nothing but empty stats

No wins, just empty calorie stats. But they’ll make topics about how Lamar Jackson needs to be better

  4. I cannot stand this day and age. He has only been in the league for four years; he has all the time in the world to win a championship. Also, you can not blame him this team was injury prone o line had some players hurt and the secondary. Speacial teams were ass and the #1 problem tbe coach was super ass how your QB sucessful when almost everything around him was falling apart like TF.

  5. So Allen and Herbert get passes but Dak and Lamar get all the disrespect, I don't see anyone blaming Miami defense for Dolphins losing we blame Tua why are some QBs shielded from blame?

  6. Herbert ain't overrated just underachieved. They had the talent on his side of the ball since he came in. People was talking like he would be in super bowl by now

  7. Herbert had 3 Drives actually that could won him that game that wasn’t his fault. He drove them Down the field and Ekeler Fumbles in the redzone. Dicker missed a 43yd FG. Then a Practice squad WR confused the play call causing a fumble.

  8. Herbert’s resume warrants the criticism Lamar gets.

    “Is Herbert worth his contract?”

  9. There have to be 2 different ways of looking at QBs. QBs like Prescott, Cousins, and Herbert can give you stats. Stat-wise, those guys are great QBs. When we discuss records, playoff wins, and a chance to win championships, so far, these guys are not highly ranked QBs.

  10. I can't find his name, he doesn't know ball.He just embarrassed himself.
You want to talk about Jacksonville playoff game? Dismiss the Jaguars as schmucks in comparison to KC? Are you up to date? Are you noticing KC training camps? Chiefs looking like they're hung over. Ditto Aaron Rodgers.
The Jags back then gave the Chiefs a run for their money, they were legit. Jacksonville playoff game? RaShawn Slater wasn't even playing in that game, he missed the 2nd half of the season. Rookie 4th rounder Jamaree Salyer was in at Left Tackle, an emergency gold find, credit to the Chargers offensive staff because Staley didn't know ball on offense. He ran 195lbs. Austin Ekeler up the gut every play for no gain, slammed into a brick wall. No gain on every play. If you're going to quiz Mina Kimes, blue suit/mustache guy— how many yard did Chargers running backs have that 2nd half? Tell me you don't know ball without telling me you don't know ball. (This is the best ESPN can do? Why am I cleaning pools??) Jamaree Salyer got INJURED AT HALFTIME OF THAT PLAYOFF GAME!

FOSTER SARRELL was the starting left tackle that game. No, A quarterback cannot "raise the level of play" in these situations— Mahomes couldn't do it with poor OL play against Brady's Bucs in the Superbowl. His weapons then of Tyreek Hill and a younger Travis Kelce were better than Herbert's weapons that 2nd half— and KC lost bad (Mahomes to 9 points) and the stupid general casuals want to point the finger at Herbert? That's a faulty scale! (Which the Bible detests).

Have a fair scale.. Herbert was thrown to the wolves that second half vs Jacksonville. You don't know ball, bro.

I'm sorry. You need to do your homework. What would a football version of Gordon Ramsay call you?

Mina Kimes is very, VERY smart. And here come the CHARGERS! YOU GUYS WILL SEE! ⚡

  11. If you think Herbert’s overrated than you just don’t know talent if if smacked you in the face. Your opinion doesn’t matter

  12. He’s top tier but he has underachieved. He needs a couple years of playoff wins for people to hop off

  13. Bro is lazy. Look at his suit. —"Show me who you hang around with and I'll show you who you are."
You went with the now-becoming-outdated slim-fit/tapered leg "humpty-dumpty" dress pants (because you're fat and have a large torso with skinny leg pants). You're not Connor McGregor, bro.. you're over 200 lbs. (and its not clean). You shouldn't be in a slim fit/milano cut (Brooks Brothers*) suit. You should be in a wide-leg, classic/full cut dress pant. The 2022's called, they want their suit back. British blue? Too bright bro.

Look at the other female colleagues faces! So cringe worthy, his take was so sour.. I stopped watching at 4:30 seconds. Just too much cringe.

You obviously hang out with the urban community.. I'm sure you have a lot of street-cred friends. Guys with an outgoing, gregarious, charismatic personality, who all like to dress the same way.
You're definitely not a Cowboy, bro.

As "Virgil" (Sam Elliott. Virgil in "Tombstone", a REAL cowboy movie) would say to " the Dude"— "I like your style dude"; YOU, blue-suit/mustache guy, I do NOT like your style.

In your little Urban camaraderie, I bet you that the people you talk Herbert with, or whose views of Herbert you respect— are HIGHLY influenced by Emanuel Acho's perspective.

You're taking the easy layup and deciding to copy him, just because it's easier because you feel safe with someone like "him" having your back?

Acho's an idiot. And so is his crew. (Do something about it). We can meet at the pier in IB. (Imperial Beach, south San Diego, not far from y'all in LA).

It's lazy not to do your research before your opinion of Herbert. If you know football— You know you can't judge/compare a QB from a horrible situation (poor OL & OT play, like he had in the JAX game. Injured WR's.. when your WHOLE offensive attack is game-planned/reliant on the passing game because your starting tailback is the size of Darren Sproles/Danny Woodhead.

You'd know John Elway looked overrated until he got an elite OL and run game from Mike Shanahan. Did Elway really "ascend" before winning the Superbowl 2 years in a row in '97 & '98 and SB MVP? Or was he the same player but just had a better [/real] team around him? Why did Steve Young fail with the Bucs before succeeding with the Niners?

Why did Kurt Warner BOMB with the Giants and look washed before reviving his career with the Cardinals?

Why is Baker Mayfield killing it now?

OL is the single most affecting factor when it comes to grading QB's. To say Herbert has had a good one with your only evidence is the capital an idiot OL talent evaluator like Tom Telesco invested in the unit is lazy and dumb. Trey Pipkins has been horrible at OT since his arrival. RaShawn is solid, but injured 2 years in a row. He played though it last year but wasn't at full strength until mid season. Corey Linsley missed the whole year. Salyer sucked at RG. Zion Johnson has been poor to average at best at LG.
Chargers TE's amongst the worst in the league under Telesco at blocking.

Tiny little halfback who won't eat enough and did nothing but calisthenics instead of power lifting incessantly and getting up to 210 lbs.

Chargers didn't win ONE game with Herbert out last year, and got DESTROYED by the Raiders without him. Whereas they beat LV earlier in the year WITH HIM???

Mahomes sucked in the Superbowl vs the Bucs. Yet people want to put an asterisk next to Brady's title vs Mahomes because both Patrick's OT's were missing?? HE HAD TYREEK HILL & TRAVIS KELCE!

Yet I know he didn't have a chance without Eric Fischer and Mitchell Schwartz (who's another idiot)..…I could've made a TON of money off that Superbowl if I was a betting man (I'm not) because I called the Bucs to win that game big, which they did. Why??

BECAUSE NO MATTER HOW GOOD YOUR QUARTERBACK IS.. YOU NEED A SOLID OFFENSIVE LINE IN FRONT OF HIM FOR HIM TO HAVE A CHANCE!! Especially OT's.

Why do you think Harbaugh (who's universally lauded as a "great HC") supposedly made the "smart" move and passed on Malik Nabers for Joe Alt?

Harbaugh used to be a QB, you think he has an opinion on which position is more impactful towards a QB's success??

I watched Harbaugh play LIVE for the Chargers in the stands at Qualcomm stadium in San Diego vs the Peyton Manning and the Colts back in 1999! (Or was it 2000? Either way..) Harbaugh had no blocking! Whereas the Chargers couldn't touch Manning. Peyton threw for 400 yards right in front of that game and Charger fans were clamoring for a new QB while walking out of that stadium. I defended Harbaugh to anyone who would listen that he just needed a better OL! In order to be evaluated fairly.

Herbert isn't being evaluated fairly because he's never had stability at OL, at Offensive Coordinator, or at the between-the-tackles run game. His defense has continually ket him down and he's been asked to play superman/God every game, every drive, every 4th quarter. He has to be PERFECT for the Chargers to win by 1.

People who don't know Chargers should just stick to "popular-teams" debates, like the 49'ers, or Cowboys.

If you want to talk Chargers, please do your homework..

  14. I'll listen to the players that compete against him over talking heads like Mina who don't know anything about football. The players ranked him 75th for a reason… They aren't scared of him.

  15. Guy talking is a jackass. Mina buried him. Herbert has dealt with a historically bad defense under Staley and zero run game at all. Watch the games. Herbert makes plays nonstop and then the rest of his team lets him down. Dude was throwing seeds to substitute teachers who shouldn’t even be playing in the NFL.

  16. Our defense didnt help Herb at all. Staley f'in ruined this locker room. This is a new era with a real f'in coach. Lets F'in GO ⚡️

  17. I'll never forget his rookie year in 2020. He didn't sit for a year to learn. Nope. Jumped right in on 3-minute's notice in the 2nd game. 31 passing TDs. (still an NFL record for a rookie). Riveting yo watch. 2021, Change of coaching and scheme. Still nearly as good and a playoff game! Which they lost due to, wait for it, Stayley's defensive call. 2022, in 2nd week, he was slammed in the ribs by a Chief. Still played, but healing time for torn cartilege, about 6 wks. So, short hand offs & short passes. Major players out for the season. Tipping over the bucket to find receivers. Stayley's defense. OC fired. 2023, new OC & scheme. A couple of riveting, steller games early . Post Vikings game, the Center player and major WR out for season. O-line failures. Filleted right-hand finger in Raiders game..(still played) Stayley's defense. Out for season with broken finger.with 4 games left. An incredibly earnest, smart and riveting player. Now, another HC, OC etc. But, this time, there's an experienced, mature adult in the room. So happy Harbaugh & company are here and that JHerbert is the Charger QB
