The BEST FORGIVING Driver Of 2024 – BUT Don’t Buy It!?

  1. I was fitted for the 430 10k (as a poor driver) and I’m playing the best golf of my life over 5 rounds in a row. The driver is the standout reason. Buy it if you want it

  2. Ah. My new Ping driver. Haven’t hit it yet though. Got a whole new set. It’s bitsa. Ping driver, talormade fairway woods, talormade irons, callaway wedges. Kept my old putter.

  3. I think more emphasis should be placed on shafts. Yes getting fitted is a plus, but I dabble with it on my own and have had good success over the years. Perfect example I’ve been playing the Ping G425 max for two years. It was a bomb fairway finder for me, but I out of the blue began to struggle with it. I went to a lighter Ventus Blue 5-S shaft and it is even better than before. I don’t think enough people realize a driver is a two part system, you might save money thinking shaft change vs new driver, your already used to the looks and feel at address of your current driver. That’s a big plus.

  4. Nothing changes dude!! Nothing!! Minie driver or 460 cc. I can hit my old Ping G10 Driver further and more accurately than all of today's bells and whistles hoop-de-do BS ! I understand you still need a job reviewing all the latest crap!

  5. To me only one round of golf with bad drives would not be enough for me to say that's it for a driver. It would have to be consistently bad.

  6. Recently moved from Stealth to the G430 Max 10k. Further, starighter and easier. Hands down the best driver I have ever had, almost feels like cheating. Is the mini driver a driver or a strong 3w? philospophers ahve been debating this for centuries

  7. I would expect that if you put a 43.75 inch shaft in the Ping, you would hit fairways. Alternatively, just grip down when your swing is a bit off, on the early holes for example. This works for me and I keep the big driver face for confidence.

  8. James and Chris welcome to gods country ,Whitby is a cracking little course ,I recommend Scarborough north cliff and south cliff, also kirby moorsidè all good value for your moneyv

  9. Chopping and changing equipment is silly and distance means nothing when you're out of bounds or in the trees. Get the tee shot in play!!! 😮

  10. Focussing on launch monitor data obviously doesn't work out on the course. We all need higher spin James off the tee, the golf balls are low spin and everything in nature works to take spin away and allows sidespin to have a dominant effect. Forget distance, get control of that little white ball

  11. James….Are you really blaming the driver for losing 6 golf balls? I'm surprised Chris went along with this instead of just fixing your swing.

  12. It’s mental, use the Kirkland for a couple of weeks with low expectations. All the modern drivers are good p. Choose the one that makes you smile when you look down

  13. I don’t have a driver atm. Just been getting back into golfing. Club i go to, they let me bum a demo Ping 10k and they have a stiff 3 wood shaft on it. Never hit so straight in my life. 53 years old and been 260 carry. Sometimes i even get a good roll for 300 yard drives.
