  1. This is another reason he's the GOAT, leaving basketball but being able to comeback and three-peat like nothing happened.

  2. I think I was the one who gave him the idea for this video. I told him to do it on a community post he made. Great video btw!

  3. MJ wanting to play baseball was in a way an ad for baseball. Even the GOAT of the NBA really wants to be Henry Aaron. His struggles with it only remind us that baseball is not easy even for elite athletes. Though his sudden departure is a reminder of the mystery that is Michael Jordan. His attention span wanders. It worked out for the Bulls. It hasn't worked out since he bails on baseball, on the Wizards, on the Hornets.

  4. Please Google names you don't know before you say them on a video. It may not be that important to most, but if you're going to do a video about a previous era, saying people's name correctly is the least you can do. I'm sure Dick Vitale would agree.

  5. I don’t get why people meme on his baseball so much. Dude hadn’t played in over a decade, worked his ASS off, and showed improvements.
Given his insane work ethic and ridiculous physical gifts I see no reason to doubt Terry saying with 1000 abs he could be a contributor.

  6. The ONLY REASON he played baseball is because he got caught up in the gambling scandal and he was suspended for a year from the NBA so what a great PR stunt.

  7. This was so wholesome. I was 11 in 1993 and Michael Jordan was a living God to me and my friends. Watching him not be an elite baseball player like he had been in Basketball was confusing to my young mind. It felt "right" when he went back to the Bulls.

  8. I guess people forgot baseball was the 1st sport he played because of his dad. Just like me i love basketball but baseball will forever be my favorite.

  9. Michael Jordan decided that he wanted to go on 8 hour bus rides and play with a bunch of 22 and 23 year olds in Birmingham, instead of living a life of luxury as a 3 time defending NBA World Champion. Or Michael Jordan got suspended from the NBA because of his documented gambling habits that got his own father murdered. Hmmm….I wonder which one was true.

  10. Michael Jordan's history with baseball reminds me of Ken Griffey Sr. He grew up playing football, basketball, and running track, only playing baseball because he had the time. He favored football as his preferred sport and most of his friends thought it was the sport he was best at.

But when he was about to graduate high school, he found out Ken Jr was on the way, so he had to take the fastest and most assured paycheck to support his new family, and that meant baseball's extensive minor league system. He wound up being pretty okay at baseball, too (although not nearly as good as his son), but it does kinda make one wonder if he'd pursued the sport everyone thought he was best at, what level of success could he have reached.

  11. Michael Jordan was a very good baseball player. Any of you guys try hitting .200 in the minors. It's fucking hard, and he's not alone among minor leaguers, even athletic, gifted minor leaguers to wash out with a statline like that.

Lucky for him he had some other talents though.

  12. Hey – narrator – the sound of your voice is so annoying that I can't tolerate this video! Either you're gay, or you've got a mouthful of spit. Regardless, don't quit your day job

  13. The story about Jordan not making his team in HS is technically true, but not how it's usually told. He didn't fail to make varsity. His school just didn't allow underclassmen to play on the varsity team, which was a common practice at the time.

  14. The fact he was able to even hit .200 after not playing for over a decade shows what an otherworldly athlete he was. Nobody else could have done that. I would be surprised if even the guys who were drafted to the MLB but chose another sport (Tom Brady, Kyler Murray, Russell Wilson etc) would be able to hit .200 in AA even just a few years removed from the game, let alone not playing since their Jr. year of HS over 10 years ago.

And then once he proved he could do it he goes back to the NBA and doesn’t skip a beat, winning 3 straight rings again. He truly was unreal 🐐

  15. You can say Lebra is better all you want.

MJs talent and attitude is by far more iconic than Lebra will ever be.

  16. Im confused…. he threw out 2 runners even tho he couldnt get it second without bouncing it 4 times?! I cant believe thats how it went down sorry. Lol
