  1. Even though I am a Brit and was willing some of our boys on, Xander is a very worthy winner and a true gentleman. He always looks after the little people (going back with balls for them even though he has just won the Open) and deliberately removes his hat to shake their hands. He is a great role model for the next generation.

  2. Followed Xander along with Jordan Spieth on the final day at Carnoustie 2018! You knew then he was different class (finished 2nd).

  3. He’s going to LIV for sure 😂 they’re going to offer him money he can’t deny. Mark my words!!!

  4. I am totally confident that Xander’s dad will find out some very fine red wines to be served from this claret jug.
Very nice attentions from the R&A in the closed doors celebration with the winner and his caddie. The Prestwick GC map with all the Open champions signatures is quite a precious piece of history at the R&A !!

  5. Xander acknowledging his caddy, many forget, showed what a class act he is, as well as a great golfer—–and Justin Rose did us home fans proud as usual, great stuff.

  6. Is Scottie still the Player of the Year? He has 1 major and 5 total wins, 4 of which were signature wins at the Players, Memorial, Arnold Palmer, and The Masters. But Xander, with only 2 wins, were both Majors. Thoughts?

  7. One would think that video highlights of a golf major championship would show actual golf.

  8. Well done Xander – brilliant 65 to win it. Clean sweep of the majors for USA, first time since ‘82. Xander has matured incredibly with both his demeanor and his game over the past couple of years. A worthy champion.

  9. I am officially a Xander fan. I have appreciated his quality play for years….and often wondered how long it would take him to win his first major. I am shocked that he pulled it off twice this year. He is like a duck on a pond. All smooth on the surface and paddling like crazy underneath. He makes it look too easy. Congrats

  10. Even if I had the golf game to compete at this level, the thousands of cameras everywhere recording every second and everything you say would stress me out 😂
Aside from their incredible talent in golf, I respect the heck out of them for being in front of the cameras all day, that can't be easy!
