In this video, I travel to Upper Peninsula Michigan to compete in my first professional golf tournament at 16. Playing in the Epson Tour, the qualifying tour for the LPGA, I’m the youngest player and only amateur in the field!
The video starts with some fishing with my cameraman before we head to the course. On Day 1, I play my first round, and on Day 2, play is suspended, leading to an unexpected twist! My dad caddies for me, making this experience even more memorable.

My dad has coached me on my swing since I’m 5… I actually ASK him to push me all the time. He motivates me every day and knows exactly what he’s talking about when it comes to my game. So grateful to have this opportunity with my dad on the bag!
What a wonderful family !!! We are all rooting for you.
Don't be so hard on yourself. You're doing great in life.
one time i was so sick i had to work a 12 hour shift. there were only two things that i remembered that whole day. #1 getting out of bed at 5am. #2 getting back in bed at 8pm
How do you live in Florida and never bass fished before? C'mon
Was there a dress code cause your golf partners had on golf attire
Amazing golfer but you were just hitting every putt Soft. They always say get the ball to the hole…never leave it short. If you go a little past that ok. All and all Good game
Really Proud of you for pushing yourself! That is how you will grow. The game is the game, but dealing with the variables is where you grow! You did good, I know Dad was proud!
Great course. Would be fun to play royal troon after this weekend.
If you want a scotland weekend,
Crail (trust me)
Troon
St Andrews
Kings barns
Muirfield
I recommend getting rain gear and always be prepared for the weather.
You’re tough as nails. Proud of you. Keep grinding. Good things ahead of you.
The next time out it could all break your way. Great job for the first pro round!
I think your dad is awesome but at this level you really need an experienced caddie on your bag. We are all good dads and love our daughters and want so much to see them succeed. But at some point we all have to realise when it's time to make a change. Especially when we you reach a level beyond our ability as dads to take you farther.
You learned a lot. You’ll do better next time when you’re not sick 😊
You should have rain gear in your bag all the time. Walking in the rain with wet clothes was not a good idea. Glad that you tried your best and glad you are feeling better. Good luck on the next tournament
Why was your dad using a bag cart on the first hole but carrying your bag on the other holes?
You should look into getting your fairway wood headcovers embroidered with the club number. I saw you pulling them off a ton to check loft.
That was truly enjoyable.
I just wanted to say I really enjoy watching your videos. Way to battle through being sick. Also this may sound harsh, but from an outside perspective I do think your dad may be getting in the way a little bit as a caddy. I understand he’s your dad and he motivates you. I’m sure he is a great coach, but I would seriously consider getting a different caddy next time, just a thought.
Man your really good !
Did you sleep in car after the second round and all that rain?
Your character, tenacity, and positivity is a win in anyone's book. Go Gabby!
So much fun to watch and awesome to be doing it w your Dad! Trust your gut with putting!! Confidence is key. Good luck and thanks for sharing!
Can't understand why you wern't wearing wet weather gear. Getting soaked and cold is a recipe for disaster which it turned out to be, such a shame.
Dad 1 question? Why didn’t you stop at the pro shop and buy her a rain suit after the first day or even before the second round????????
Get that girl some rain gear dad! Come on man! There’s no excuse for showing up to a pro tournament with rain & cold in the forecast and not having raingear!! I’m a 15 handicap, and even I have rain gear.
I love your Dad and feel like he's very knowledgeable and knows your club distances. However, i feel like there was too much back and forth between you two. You know your game and what shots you can hit. I think a regular caddie would keep you calmer and not be in your head so much. I feel like your Dad made you more nervous out there. You know best though, just my opinion. You'll get em next time Gabby!!!
you are a BEAST !!
👏
If your throat is hurt than stop talking soo much.
I'm having breakfast while watching your video. This makes me very excited and impatient to go play right after. I love this kind of video, it’s exciting to see you playing with your father.
My daughters haven't really taken to golf, but one of my granddaughters loves to play. your dad must be excited to play with you and coach you just like I am with my grand daughter.
Great video keep making more.
THANKS
NB. if you don't have rain gear in your bag, rush to the pro shop to buy some because it's essential to play well under the rain and not get sick.
Not meaning anything bad towards you at all ( because I have so much respect for you), but you got a taste of the professional life. And you had some issues, but you'll be better for it. Don't let it effect you long term . . you got this!!! Congrats!!
There will be lots more tournaments to come I give you a lot of credit to dig deep down to try and play! The last thing I would want to play golf when I’m sick! Keep your chin up because you’re future is bright
why do your irons sometimes sound like woods is it because they are blades. You played so well considering you were really sick. well done Gabby
Your day 1 recap was spot on. You have the game to play at that level. It looked like you were rushing too much. Slow it down and the birdies will come.
What an awesome experience for one so young, and to be able to share it with your dad as your caddy was just amazing. What a blessing. Have followed you for a couple of years now and very much enjoy your content. Will continue to cheer you on in your endeavors and wishing you all the best!
Hi gabby may I suggest Kai Trump as a guest play a 9 hole, I saw she plays golf good too and that would be a fire episode🔥
It is more important to protect your health than to finish a tournament. It may have been a better idea to withdraw earlier rather than trying to tough it out.
I've subbed. Why? You've got a fantastic family. Gonna follow someone's journey ( you're the first). Don't follow any female golfers, why not you? You're not a pathetic girly girl ( just like my wonderful wife) Carrying on while flu ridden 👏👏👏👏👏👏, shows steel, grit and a great attitude. Good luck with your future career Gaby
You needs doctor to do complete health checkup and see if you are ready for tournament or not.
Why you dressed to go to the mall though. All the other players looked professional. You stood out as a YouTuber. Dress the part. Proper professional rain wear when needed. Bring a few pairs of waterproof leather or soft pvc golf shoes. Heat packs/warmers. You fail to prepare you prepare to fail. The weather apps are super reliable to forecast days in advance. Sorry to say, you looked unprepared.
