This right here is the brand new Samsung Galaxy Watch7. Even though the Galaxy Watch Ultra was the star of the show, this is the watch I would recommend for most people. It looks just like the previous Watch6 but it actually has quite a few massive improvements.
Same chip inside, same new bioactive sensor, same display, and a lot of the same new software, in a package that is about half the weight and about half the price.

Got my preorder. Upgrading from the Watch4. Long overdue.
Now I realize the free sport strap I ordered is exactly the same as the one I got on the watch itself lol. I like the band though.

I see it doesn't support power sharing and is exactly a copy from the last generation.
I have the watch 6 classic. I wore it for months but I've finally gone back to an analogue watch.
I spent more time charging it than I did wearing it and it got old real fast.
Wouldn't even consider this watch if they haven't improved battery life.
I have GW4, my wife GW6, those things are literally the same, they just update the number every year. So if you want GW, just find somewhere the old model for half the price, you won't miss anything.
I'm still using the Galaxy watch 5 Pro, which is titanium with sapphire glass and bigger battery (like the new ultra). The 6 and 7 are both downgrades for me. Slightly better sensors isn't worth compromising the better build quality and battery life. Only the Ultra really makes sense if I'm going to 'upgrade'. They are also offering $350 for my Galaxy 5 Pro on a trade in for the Ultra at Samsung's website, which is more then I paid for it. They would also give me $250 for a trade-in for the 7, making it only $50, but it feels like paying for a downgrade.
I thought the watch7 would have a glucose monitor. Or doesn't it?

I have the watch 5 and that's the most useless piece of gear I've ever purchased. The UI is crappy and the fact that I have to charge it pretty much every day is ridiculous. I could trade mine in for 200 bucks and get this new one to give it another chance, but they look too similar experience-wise, so I'll probably pass. In the meantime, my watch 5 is forever charging somewhere in my living room. And yes, I am a very active person who plays multiple sports and goes to the gym regularly.

How's the battery life of the 44mm version compared to the Galaxy watch 6 classic 47mm? Does it last longer?
I'm considering one of them as a standalone watch (with LTE). Was going to buy the 6 classic last year but then decided to wait for the 7 since everyone complained about battery life, and was hoping Samsung did something in that regard. The chip is supposedly 30% more efficient, but no actual data so far from people with the watch. Both 6 Classic 47mm and 7 44mm have 435mAh batteries. Do you find any improvement in battery duration? I can get the 6 classic 47mm for 250$ and the 7 44mm for 295$, so need help on this! bigger screen and better build quality vs new chip and more storage… It comes down to battery duration tbh, but no one mentions it so far.
It's a huge miss on Samsung for not having a 40mm or 42mm version of their Ultra. 47mm is huge and although most guys want to pull it off on their wrist, they can't lol. Not to mention it excludes most women too.
Love your reviews. But the problem with Samsung watches is BATTERY LIFE! I can't leave the sensors or screen on bc it dies but evening. Then I have to recharge for 😴 sleep. I need it to last at least 2 Days so if I miss charging I can make it up. Compare 4, 5, 6 battery. .

And in Samsung phones(flagships too), the signal reception is not good when compared to other phones like Xiaomi or Realme, also the camera UI lag or shutter lag!

The display of my Samsung Watch just randomly came off because the screen is just glued to the case. And once the glue goes bad your whole watch is useless. And this seems to happen more often. So I just want to know if they made the same mistake again..

I dont have an issue with charging the phone everyday. Its jist if you want the gps and use the workout feature you need a full charge.

I had the 5. But when the rotating physical dial returned to 6 classic I of course did the exchange 5 for 6. So hoping the physical dial returns to the 8. And the Ultra is just wrong.

got my Watch 7 44mm delivered yesterday.. still have my Watch 5 Pro with the D buckle band-the best band.. the new push button attachment for the Watch 7 watchband is terrible-no, make that horrendous- at least the one I received is ..they couldn't leave well enuff alone.. I choose the Watch 7 44mm over the 7 Ultra- it was overkill for me with things I had no use for as I compared them though I always get the Classic or Pro models.. satisfied with my choice.. traded in an old Watch 3 and with discounts got it for $103.99 + shipping + taxes total 126.46 so at that price 'had' to get it… all the watch faces and data from my Watch 5 Pro transferred over to the Watch 7.. great video as always
