Rory and his caddie need a reality check and they got it.Using a driver in today's conditions dumb.Sensible players used driving irons.you gotta play for position on Troon.fairways,no bunkers,low ballflights,5/7 irons bump & run from 150-170 out havin played there many times. Hope Lowry or Bob M win❤

The lady commentator during the featured group of Woods et al. was so negative towards Woods that I had to turn off the volume.
The lady should understand that having Tiger on the course is an inspiration to all, even if he is not in perfect physical condition. We all spectators love to see him on the course.
Tiger has changed the world golf environment. He has brought respect to all who want to play golf irrespective of the colour of their skin, poor background, and making golf accessible to all.

To be clear announcers , Tiger has earned his spot at the open.
But many of us don't care to see him play and shoot +8. We would much rather see someone new with potential.
The reason they are all missing the green on the right at the postage stamp is because the grandstand shelters the tee. The minute the ball goes above the stands the wind just pushes it down the right. I can’t believe so many pro golfers are getting fooled.
I'm struck by how respectful and polite the fans are, especially when you compare them to American crowds.

This year proves once again why I don’t put the Open as the number one major. Too much of it comes down to luck. The guys that went late early the first two days have a huge advantage over the rest of the field.
