Can you drink a 6 pack of beer and continue to play good golf? One beer per three holes. Invite other golfers/YouTubers that drink. Watching good golfers struggle with a reasonable challenge is fun to watch.
I like the course vlogs with other creators and professionals. In terms of coaching I like to watch course management content where you might coach a mid/high handicapper over nine holes. Thanks Andy, hopefully a few more punters get on board. 😊
More matches and course vlogs
Both.
HIO Challenge
Fun/strange course vlog challenges. Worst Ball. Bingo/Bango/Bongo. Push-ups on every Par or above hole.
Not fan of just course vlogs.
Love all your videos Andy, hope you smash though the 100k mark soon, side note, what an awesome coach you are, just a few lessons on Skillest and went from 23 handicap down to 12 in 3 months from 4 lessons.
Hey Carter, been a while… I always enjoy course vlogs with the 3 gents (Shiels/Finch/Fryer) but I think the ultimate would be picking subs to join you on the course. You could give a lesson and course vlog at the same time. Cheers! 🍻⛳️🏌️♂️
I think after the pod cast you and Mr Frier made. Everybody would like to see who is the best player between yourself Frier finch and Shiels 😂
Maybe over 4 rounds so each of you can pick a course and share the content over your channels? Just a thought.
I like the vlogs and the coaching side it’s all great 👍
I would like to see you, Finch, Fryer go to TopGolf in Glasgow for a skills challenge or any of the other golf games that can be played there. Would make a nice change and you can probably get TopGolf to sponsor it to show the place off. I enjoy your videos with them but also enjoy your instructional videos of how I can improve my game. I think Finch and Fryer are much more talkative than you, but I love your dry sense of humor and I think it is sometimes lost on those that don't appreciate it.
Love the course vlogs. I enjoy hearing you talk through the thought process. I also miss the group matches with Pete, Matt, and Rick.
I'd like to see more collaborations with other golfers, influencers, and professionals at different venues and more on your Open quest!
Andy l like all the videos that you post.
Golf club reviews irons ,driver etc
Personally I like the blend you offer so I would say both
I enjoy the variety mate and our personality interacting with others like Finch and Fryer. England vs Oz sounds amazing, Aussie Aussie Aussie 😂
I love the course vlogs especially if they contain Fryer and Finch
Hi i enjoy the course vlogs just need fun guests and mix up the type of matches. You tube is flooded with tips videos so unless you specialise in an area of the game ( like dan grieve) your views are likely to be small. perhaps just do tips as shorts. The exception is sharing your pete Cowan secrets they seem to be popular
The course vlogs are great, just the right length of video for your 18 hole matches.
The tips are good too with a 5-10min tip video once a week that gives us a single /couple of things to practice out on the range or in front of a net.
Enjoy your content and the banter between you and mates, Fryer, Finch, Rick, Gaz, etc
Keep grinding you’ll be at 100k in no time
Preferably course vlogs to teaching vids for me
Course vlogs for me.
I like a mixture of both – I really like tactical course vlogs and maybe if you have the chance play 2 balls one of which is protecting a score, the other of which is hyper aggressive?
Equipment reviews, matches and instructional videos
I like your coaching and playing vlogs, but i think that you could possibly combine both playing and coaching vlogs? Maybe when your collaborating with other golfers, ask them what they think in certain situations around the course.
I think most of us golfers need better course management, so maybe try that. The main thing is, keep it fun.
Personally, i always look out for your videos.
Personally I really like on course vlogs and I think your matches against other YouTubers are right up there in terms of quality content. I also really enjoy coaching videos were a coach is working with a student. I try and avoid generic golf tip videos though
I'd like to see you coaching real life golfers with golfing issues and see how you train and improve them, with their verbal feedback on their new swing thoughts, feels etc. These could be 1 off lessons or a series of lessons. They are more relatable than a pro saying do this & that and now watch how it flies perfectly 300 yards or spins back 20 feet. I'd also like to see now & then average golfers testing clubs. maybe their gear vs new or second hand gear that might suit them better, maybe collaborate with a 2nd hand golf shop, take a group of golfers who can hit what they want and see what they like. it's like a fitting but by process of elimination
Personally I find the current trend to longer and longer videos by other Ytubers (no names but a certain bearded ego is doing feature length videos that just dont hold interest) So if you avoid that kind of tom foolery it woudl be welcome. Its not necessary to see every single shot, with a complete breakdown of what the plan is. For trickeier shots this helps us learn but standard approach shots, just hit it and show the outcomes. Your collabs with others can be fun BUT everyones doinng similar and there needs to be something different…….its really hard to know what but brief, punchier to the point content is always welcome.
Love course vlogs and maybe some behind the scenes stuff would be interesting, like a day in the life of a golf coach/YouTuber.
I've always thought you and Al would collab well together, so loved seeing the results.
In terms of vlogs, the UK guys tend to herd and content comes from the same places at the same time, this year Portugal and Spain, West Coast of Scotland and Ireland.
You've bought something different with your Middle East knowledge but how about going to developing Golfing destinations we don't see much of like Greece, Bulgaria, Morocco. New courses and destinations are popping up everywhere.
By the way, next time you go to the Middle East, do a course with sand and oil greens, not seen that on YouTube.
What drew me here was the Pete Cowen content. Hard to find quality YouTube instruction that actually helps. Plenty equipment reviews already. Did like the club selection video (FW, vs hybrid vs iron). The playing video (which includes course management) was also fantastic.
I would love to see YouTubers play more matches against subscribers, boost up the quantity of subscribers and also the subscriber with their game.
For me instruction videos don’t work. Unless I’m struggling with that exact thing which maybe means it’s a small market for that video? I like course vlogs. Like to see you be challenged and struggle (sorry) as it makes it real and we can all relate. Your best video recently was qualifying. Matches against other golfers be it pros or sports people anything really. I think other YouTube golfers is done to death, just ends up being a merry go round of you go on mine I go on yours. Unless it has a point such as an annual match etc. some form of series we could get into, can I make an 18 handicap shoot 80 with my help. Not specifically that but something that’s repeatable that can be built on. Hope this helps and isn’t coming across as negative.
I like the mix…. Please do more matches against PRO golfers…..
First I’d like to say I’m a recent subscriber (the single golf Channel I watch actually) I do like Your content, especially the Pete Cowen related content. According to my own understanding (recent) there are three main types of golfers, under player, mid players and over players, the under, over etc. refers to where your right palm is pointing at last parallel. Each type of player use different grip, take-away, transition and follow through. To understand which type of player you are, a professional needs to make an analysis of the player’s biomechanics and preferences. If one pro (youtube) mixes main principles intended for different types of players it will end up in a o mess. If There are MANY conflicting ideas about the golf swing. I recently began an interesting change process of my own swing. I had a very shallow approach to the ball and very much in-to-out (hooks) with a very late release. Needed lots of side bend etc etc. According to my new instructor I am more like an “over golfer”. I shall use a weak grip (right hand on top of the handle) “turning the wheel left” resulting in more depth in the back swing and turning the wheel left in the forward swing releasing more left..Now the ball striking is much better, steeper angle of attack, taking a divot and much more fun. This might be a possible subject to enlighten. I’m very reluctant to watch youtube golf tips, but… as I said I like your stuff. Best regards Olle Edsbacker
Andy, you're the best golfer of the lot of them. Play more golf.
I’m specifically here for golf tips , drills, coaching, etc.
I’d say course vlogs of local courses, personally not a fan of swing tips or equipment reviews. Some videos of lessons would be good aswell 👍🏼
Andy. I like a balance. A bit of everything. Andy T.
I like the tips, short instructional content. Love the course vlogs, tournaments included. Really really really miss the Sunday scrambles!!
Course Vlogs, Collaborations with Peter Finch, Liv CookeSeb & Matt Fryer, more content from LIV players and different courses from Africa. No one has really showcased South Africa except Mac Boucher
It’s spot on the way it is Andy. You’ve helped me plenty 🧨
I like course vlogs best.
Sir, not a Pete Cowen fan. Sorry, but don’t enjoy his style of teaching or his golf swing philosophy. Enjoy seeing you play the better courses and your explanation of your thought processes tee to green. I’m an American, and a longtime subscriber, so I can I accept my comment doesn’t count for much. You and Fryer are a lock!
Both…been a long time subscriber. Your tips have helped me tremendously on course. I share your videos with friends. I’ll be getting a skillest lesson from you soon enough
Vlogs with Alex, Pete and Matt are my fave. I hope you and Etches start to get more subs, you bounce off each other well.
Please keep uploading swing tip videos. Course management videos, too. Multi-player course vlogs are hit or miss, for me, because I don't always like the guests and sometimes the format doesn't work out. Hope this feedback helps!
