With the release of the new Magura Gustav Pro coming up, I was lucky enough to be sent a pair earlier in the year to test on a standard summers day at home in Scotland.

We had a wild day of sun, snow, and thunderstorms to really give us a mix of conditions to test the brakes and how consistent they would feel descending some steep slabs!

Head to Magura’s website to learn more about the brakes themselves: https://magura.com/en/EUR/

  1. i got magura brakes because danny mac rides them, but after crashing a set and experiencing their substandard end-user serviceability, i’ll not ever buy another magura product and recommend others to shop elsewhere as well

performance is good, but if you intend to service your own bike, get another brake
