the next hour the track managers and Stables are reporting in with today’s First racing news and info it’s time for the first word all good morning everyone welcome to the first word here on this Saturday race day morning it’s lovely to have you company here in the middle of winter on the 13th of July looking forward to a big first word as we talk to all of the major players here ahead of Sir John Monash Stakes day at corfield looking forward to that Warren Huntley and myself will be talking to Glenn Thompson Tom dbig Alex Ray Michael Kent Jr and a host of others all before the Melbourne form panel from 8:00 where Warren will be joined by Mark Hunter David gatley and also Mark alus from the tab from 9:00 it’s Turf talk we’ll go around the grounds to help you back a Winer this afternoon right around the country and then from 10:00 Grace ramage will join me in the studio for a big addition of ready to race as we continue the buildup to racing this afternoon Kobe Jennings and Blake Shin to join us on that program a little bit later on before we get the crystal ball out so as always if you’d like to get involved right through the morning 0416 95052 is the number to do so or give us a call later on 1300 652 927 Warren Huntley we are in the middle of winter but we’ve got feature racing at corfield today a group three Sir John monach Stakes not the the biggest field for a monach but feature racing nonetheless yeah it’s a bit of a hint of things to come isn’t it Maddy good morning to you you’re right it’s still winter racing and we got winter conditions out there at coru we’ll get an update with Sam Bennetts shortly but the monach always just gives you a bit of taste of what’s to come into the bletchingly and then the the Lawrence and and then we start getting some some really good races coming in and then we head towards the the group one memy and others and and then you’re really getting back into the the the really good racing so yep it’s winter racing but just with a hint of what’s to come to just keep us a little bit uh on toe and maybe get a little bit excited through the winter months absolutely are you excited about this card today the nine R races at corfield we’ve had so much racing this your your excitement’s probably gets DED a little bit when we’re coming off 10 races nine races double meetings yesterday so it’s a it’s a case of spinning the wheel again I suppose but Metropolitan Saturday Racing’s the highlight of the week so in that way there’s level of excitement for for today absolutely hopefully we’re excited after backing a few winners as well through the afternoon we need to find out what the track conditions are going to be like out there at corfield much conversation and discussion around that through the week what we’ll end up on well let’s find out Sam Bennett is the track manager at corfield and he joins us good morning Sam morning Matt morning Warren how are we yeah really well thank you soft seven there yesterday when I spoke to you on racing pulse you weren’t expecting much rain across the next 24 hours what have we landed on today yeah I’ll serving again um we uh had 21 for 21 Ms for the last seven days had a bit of a light sort of scud show passed through before sort of 5:00 a.m. actually didn’t register anything in the rain gauge but enough to sort of wet the roads and keep the leaf wet so I think um that would just keep us in that seven pretty for the the whole card I’d imagine okay we always know that rain on race day can prove a bit uh Troublesome as well so this afternoon it’s looking pretty good yeah look I again the bomb sort of head bets and um giving us sort of a uh 0 to3 mil 70% chance so to me that just sort of means maybe a passing shower throughout the day but certainly nothing uh no real drying conditions at top of 13 and um some sort of mid to light winds um from the southwest so um as I say I don’t think in terms of track condition it’ll change a great deal um but we are what our data sort of tells us we’re right right smack bang in the middle of a a soft seven with G sck of 81 and a Shar of of eight meeting a couple of weeks ago we got significant rain during the course of the day Sam and and obviously that opens the track up and they did Edge away from the inside as the day progressed how do you see the track playing today yeah look well the rail is back in the true from that last meeting and um the true pad’s been had you know since May 11 off so it’s um it’s as clean as a pad as you’re going to get um that said we are in the depths of winter so I actually think that the track will probably play similar to to uh four night ago where they’ll sort of start it on the inside use up the inside and um probably predominantly racing in sort of the middle of the track sort of I’d say two or three off to to that 12 pad which will which is probably best ground to be fair all righty now considering your number one responsibility is to manage the track at cfei I was probably a little bit unfair when I clipped uh all of the track managers for their tipping performances in in rent weeks but are you sticking fat with yesterday’s selection yeah yeah I’ll stick with Jabba I was Scene It shortened up a little bit so someone was listening but yeah as I said you know the the the Lindsay boys and uh and Blake aard um it’s hard to go hard to go past uh that combination all right Sam I’m backing you to lead the track managers out of a little bit of a rough spell on the The Tipping front at uh 6 minutes past 7 on a Saturday morning we wish you all the best for racing out there at corfield this afternoon thanks gentlemen there’s s Bennett’s joining us there the corfield track manager Warren you have to be careful giving the track managers a clip we do rely on their uh insight and information uh you clip them too much you’ll end up getting the response of well information’s on racing Australia get it yourself son that’s very true I’ve got to I’ve got to be careful even if they haven’t handed me a winner for a couple of weeks but I’m backing Sam in today uh the tide will turn I’ve got no doubt and they do a wonderful job managing our tracks each and every day uh we need to head up to Sydney now uh we’re on a slightly less wet track up there in Sydney at Royal Rami today I believe Dave Morrison’s the track manager and he joins us good morning David how are you yeah well people are people are in a lot of trouble if they’re looking for a tip off me oh there’s a few desperates out there Dave hey uh am I right are we on a a slightly drri track up there in New South Wales today yeah well we went to a seven today s seven we had Chad scoffield go around it this morning and he said It felt very uh um nice and consistent around the track and it’s s of seven was a good rating and our readings in that we got the Peno of 5.90 and a going of 8.1 Shear of 118 so we were happy with a seven this morning what’s the day looking like well it’s going to be really windy like it’s it was a bit partly cloudy when we went around early this morning but clouds come over a bit but there’s looking at more Sunshine later on but the winds will come from the southwest and be quite strong actually it should be about 35 to 40ks from the southwest so that’ll assist them a little bit coming home down that straet all right well um looking forward to racing up there this afternoon I take it you’re not going to be prepared to hand us out a tip then if I’ve just given Sam a bit of a clip at cfei are you going to keep your powder dry oh listen I I I would hate anyone to lose their super annuation or anything on anything I yeah well the cost of living prices hit hard so it’s probably best to just keep the powder dry if we don’t need to I suppose that’s it good on you Dave all the best for racing in Sydney today I appreciate that have a great day there’s David Morrison joining us there so soft tracks both in Melbourne and also Sydney for racing on this Saturday afternoon let’s find out how that is going to affect the chances of Alex Rays two Runners at corfield today and he joins us good morning Alex how are you I’m well thanks how are you really well when I spoke to you earlier on in the week it looked a race between the two of them Miss romini and Anna’s dream there in the first Miss rini’s been scratched since we last spoke so uh as a result of that she your girls trimmed up a lot in the market looks a really good race for her today yes short now uh it looks very suitable I suppose you know we always look for what what could go wrong and it turns into a pretty tactical Affair I’d suggest but you know we’re lucky enough to have Damen Lane on her back so uh it’s all up to him different Dynamic Alex from when she was last at 1400 met a couple of starts back where she was off a slightly longer break and jumping from 1100 M earlier in her campaign but she did get a touch Kean how are you reading the step to 4 00 meters for her today yeah we’re really happy uh look we’ve got a fair bit of work into over the last uh three weeks or so obviously she only started a fortnite ago previous to that uh you know we were 11 to 1400 meters and we were dictated to purely through the program and uh look there was so much that has gone wrong for and has dreamed this campaign and I’ve really got some consistency over the last fortnite so you’ll see a more relaxed horse today I’m sure of it and um you know hopefully that can translate into a better performance all righty what about your other Runner this afternoon little Jack he’s pretty exciting he was pretty green there as well their last start um looks a real horse on the up has he continued to improve since his last victory there at corfield yeah he came through that win really well obviously he’s been penalized two and a half kilos but we want to take into account the fact that he’s still improving and we feel with that uh look at corfield under his belt and OB the obvious fact that he’s only had a handful of starts um you know hopefully he’ll put in another good performance and we think he’ll be pretty hard to beat have you got any idea where you think he might get to in time no the there is no ceiling at the moment for a horse like him uh you know he continues to improve I suppose our biggest challenge at the moment is just trying to get the job done again today all of a sudden if he wins he’s five from eight and you start to uh you know think real lofty goals uh but at this stage you know we need to be mindful of the fact it’s the middle of winter he racing a good standard of horse albe it they’ve been around a while he’s probably the only one in the field that has significant upside so we’ve got great respect for them but he does need to uh you know take it take another step forward and if he does we can start thinking about Springs and autumns the pressure went on a fair way out in the most recent start and and he seemed to really relish that and he was the strongest late what are some of his better attributes that that have him looking such a promising horse yeah well he’s got a wonderful turn turn of speed and that’s why we would have preferred we’re happy that it’s in the soft range and hasn’t really got downgraded into the into the heavy uh area uh he’s he was only okay when he won a sail against a pretty ordinary field and we feel previous to that he was very Dynamic when he could get on top of it a little bit more so look he’s going to get a nice surface today and uh you know with the field being quite big I’d expect him to go at a good Tempo and it should M well for him again you’re having a punt today yourself Alex uh no I don’t think they’re too short uh you know it’ just be nice to get the job done they’re both you know really nice horses and they and they’re in good form so if we can get a winner or two that’ be very satisfying J Landa same game multi in the footy last night no I’m a I’m a mad Callingwood boy I was pretty disappointed yeah it’s always a long weekend when your team loses on a Friday night hopefully your fortunes can turn around at corfield today with a couple of winners good luck yeah thank you very much there’s Alex Ray joining is there two really exciting horses in his stable Warren could be a really big day for him if he can land two blows with Anna’s dream and little Jack yeah important day and he’s always managed when he’s building his team to have a nice horse in the stable obviously shock overa who hopefully we we get to see again in the not too distant future but he’s got to get himself right before he gets back to the track but yeah being able to have two horses going to an offseason meeting but but favorites in town on a Saturday real credit to Alex his brother Chuck’s a big part of the team and and he’s building a really good little business out there absolutely good luck to him this afternoon with those two Runners at the heath we’ll take a break now on the first word it’s nice to have your company here on this Saturday race day morning it’s 18 minutes past 7 Glenn Thompson Tom dbig and will Hayes to morning 0416 95052 if you’d like to send us a text this morning Glenn Thompson joins us now to go through Mike marone’s Runners good morning Glenn how are you good thanks how you going yeah really well thank you two at corfield today let’s start in race two over the 1400 meters there where we get to see General Firepower back in Action he’d been in pretty good form before that sail run last start what happened there um you can mix his form a little bit uh was pry average track there he’s not he’s probably better the dry is the better he is um and he did I think we just think he probably did a little bit too much work to get to the front as well so he was I think he was entitled to get a bit tied late all right so on a soft seven today drawn barrier nine what are your expectations with him yeah it’s hard to know really he he’ll roll forward hopefully he doesn’t have to do too much work to be in the first few and hopefully he can run well but you know it’s um yeah he’s got to bounce back off an aage run so we know he’s got a few things overcome but you know hopefully he can he can run a better race Oak Hill’s your other Runner race seven number three and he’d been explosive in his two wins leading into that run down the straight and there was obviously a bit of a caveat and a word of warning from the stable too about how he’d cope with racing down the straight last start at subsequent to that race how did the the debrief go trying to analyze how that performance lined up yeah was obviously disappointing he done a few did a few things wrong um you know he’s got a bounce back today again off an average run last start so hopefully around the B they run along a bit and and run a more T race and um if he can do everything right he’ll be right in the Finish Kon nose band goes on as a gear change can you explain to to ourselves and the audience just the the the first of all what type of a gear change is that what does it mean and and what do you hope to achieve from it well it’s just a like a a band that goes across his nose and links under the bit so when they put pressure on the bit it pulls down on his nose and theoretically gets him to drop his head um it seems to have done the job uh in track work and we give him a jump out in it last Friday he wanted to throw his head went to throw his head a few times just come into the corner but as soon as Daman sort of put a bit of pressure on him he dropped his head and did everything right there so you know hopefully it does the job RAC physically how how do you assess him after coming through that run and with that jump out that you assess comparing him to how he was was pride of that run down the street look he’s as well as he was headed into his last few runs we’re really happy with him if we weren’t he wouldn’t be heading to the races um but he’s a he’s a work in progress um he’s still doing things wrong and you know hopefully he can put it all together today are you more confident with him than say General Firepower in terms of being able to bounce back from a a slightly underwhelming performance yeah I think D he’s a he’s a class horse um so you know as I said if he can put his best foot forward he should run really well you know it’s just bit hard to know sort of you know we need to see him do everything right and B hard to know how that track will play today whether that’ll suit him but um look as I said he’s a quality horse so if he steps up he’ll be right in it Glen appreciate your time good luck this afternoon no problem thanks guys Glenn Thompson joining us there going through Mike morrone’s Runners let’s have a chat now to Tom davig who has had the stable in great form across the winter months and has two live chances at corfield the afternoon uh good morning Tom good morning thanks for having me on romantic Choice there in the first today we just had a chat to Alex Ray around 10 minutes ago he said it could be a pretty tactical Affair um drawn barrier seven there with Linda Mech in the saddle who’s ridden this horse the last couple of times are you pretty confident you might be able to skip away and and pinch this one in the first uh looks he’s first time at 14400 but she’s quite uh quick out of the gates and a small field I could have sort of visualized her possibly leading uh with M on and um she look she should give it a bit of a kick and be in it for a fair way I just not 100% sure whether she’ll be strong at the end of 14 or not but she does like the soft conditions and and she’s quite a tough Philly uh so yeah hopefully she can um run well just deep enough into the campaign Tom what sort of Maintenance does she require between runs obviously winning it at waren at the start of the carnival from that uh leading into a win and easier grade at Ballarat so you’ve had her up for a while what’s the the trick to keeping her ticking over um she does uh require a bit of work she sort of needs a a Gallup or two leading into her runs uh just to sort of keep the freshness edge off her and she gets to the beach and uh apart from that all pretty standard so look it’s always hard to know how long they can maintain these preps for um the tempation of getting towards the end of the uh season uh to run Metro three-year-old race and against a own sex um and she’s very fit now so uh meech’s recommendation was to try the 14400 she thought the so Tempo she’ll travel for longer and and um today will be a good test for for us Western District’s cult hero Ashford Street goes around in the the feature the Sir John M St Stakes race eight how’s he come through that run down the straight at Flemington uh good he was a bit unlucky there but his two runs PR of that at corfield was were really good and he finds himself on his first uh softer track for the season although he’s been racing and winded they’ve been on good track so he likes those conditions and he’s drawn a a nice gate uh there’ probably be a little bit of speed in front of him but he should get a nice run and um I think that he’s a you know a genuine chance in a competitive race yeah 1100 corfield soft track middle of winter there’s no surprise to see that he’s been nibbled away at by the punters what about it warer bille this afternoon you got a couple of Runners there Runway ruler and also trap the code have you got a winner there for the listeners uh Runway roller ran well at a last start it was a Donald meeting transferred to W nil and it was a third 50 back to 12 so whether the slight drop back in trip might uh be the only concern but she looks to be improving um and trapic C uh would probably need to improve a little bit off her last start Al righty Tom appreciate your time this morning good luck with all of your Runners across the day especially Ashford Street there in the feature at corfield Tom dbig joining us there Philip Stokes is going to join us in a moment so to will Hayes Michael Kent Jr’s not far away and he’s back from holidays Junior as well after a couple of weeks off for his honeymoon and his uh winter sun I guess over there in Europe there was a text message that came through as well here Warren from the pre morning boys how good is Saturday I’ll be teeing it up in about an hour have we any updates on how Dave eustus is traveling in Hong Kong well I think the boys caught up with him over there on you Michael Kent Jr and Jack turno so we’ll ask them when they join us a little bit later on um but I think they’ve got uh short memories that the listeners Warren because Jack termal well and truly surpass Dave for his tipping performances on a Saturday morning so um I think we’re doing okay with Jack at the moment prayers but nice to have you listening this morning and good luck with your golf game there this afternoon Philip Stokes joins us now he’s got a couple heading to corfield this afternoon uh good morning Phil how are you you’re good thank you that’s the way uh Fagan today they’re over the 2,000 M drawn a low barrier um would need to turn the tables on little Jack here to uh get a victory are you confident he might be able to do that oh look he’s been racing wor I thought he had every chance Last start and wasn’t able to get the job done so you know I’m probably say need an each way chance okay from that low draw can he be in a prominent position doesn’t look a great deal of speed and the inside barriers yeah hopefully he can jump clean and put himself in the race he’s been a bit unlucky this wide barriers so chance put himself in the race yeah a fairly high pressure race that race last night feel like I know he’s deep into the campaign and he’s nice and fit how did he cope with with that adding what was his recovery like post race yeah he’s a tough hor he seems to bounce out of runs really well so hence he’s still going around so you know he goes there in good enough order um am I confident of it I’m probably think it’s more of an eway chance so to Bay Shaw your other runner at corfield Race Six number five second up stepping up to the 1700 M how are you assessing him today yeah I thought his return was really good he um had been off the scene for quite a while ran well so a good barrier he’ll get a good run and um yeah know he he’s he’s definitely a chance what about in Adelaide today at Murray Bridge you got a pretty handy team heading there what’s The Pick of them we haven’t got any stand outs but I’m thinking that probably Brave star’s ready to win all right race seven number one Brave star uh Phil appreciate your time this morning good luck morning ahead of Sir John Monash Stakes day at corfield where the Lindsay Park operation have got a bit of a ruffy in the feature but a handy team heading to the heath and will Hayes joins us on the line now good morning morning will how are you good morning thanks Ben thanks for having me no worries couple of Runners there in race five today my panel operator Andrew Q thinks Jabba wys is a good H chance do you agree with him yeah I think we’re going to put blinkers on and um hopefully it does the trick he loves the he loves the soft surface so he’s got the weather Gods on his side and hopefully today’s his day all right that’s music to his ears what about Fire Glow 2 in the same race John barrier 16 oh in fact it’s come out which is no surprise him out just just took him out of the equation he’s going to go to a nice race at sand down on this Wednesday all right what about the May there in Race Six FAS who’s had a couple of Starts Now for your stable yeah continually improving um we just want her to relax in the transit and then be hitting the line strong I think she’s going to appreciate the slight step out and distance how do you see that the track conditions for her soft seven at this stage likely to hold that yeah I think that’s going to suit her um my personal opinion I think she’s um she doesn’t have an electric Turner foot but can certainly grind um and hopefully the wet track slows a few others up Shiva is a horse that’s shown good talent in her career today how do you line her up against the quality of the opposition in the S John Mones the feature race eight yeah she’s certainly in the deep end but um while looking at the Noms and how well she’s going at home we thought would’ just have a crack and um and see how she go she is a lightly race Philly with high ability so she does appreciate this time of year and um I think horses like morning and Glory when you go through his form is pretty outstanding so um she’s certainly uh going to have to bring her best and hopefully today’s the day what about there in the last you’ve got ryberg who’s been in terrific form all through the campaign he’s just seems to be enjoying racing at the moment through these winter months and once again there from a good barrier looks hard to beat in the last yeah he does he’s a he’s a horse that’s racing in terrific consistent form um he does have a weight swing on the horses like um sir Lawrence um which might um make it a little bit tougher but um if we get a good run he should be in the right spot um hopefully outside the leader and then um give him a good kick you had a horse win yesterday uh will which was very very impressive there at jalong it’s called Dom now Ben Hayes joined me yesterday on racing pulse and he said it was the best of the day and um well if you were on it was one of the easiest watches of all time he looks a really nice horse yeah I wish they all went like that um it was a really took the race by the Scarff of the neck and gave a good kick so he relished those conditions yesterday at Jong and um he does look like an exciting one going forward all right um I’d imagine that was over, 1400 as well so he’ll get out over further ground yeah I think so he’s um he’s a lovely Pier so um you wouldn’t think going out in distance would be any trouble at all perhaps not in the same class but another winner yesterday at the other provincial meeting rabbit’s STW I’m more interested in his name than than where you going with him can you give us any background on of the naming of rabbit stew who broke the maiden yesterday yeah in The Benchmark is too so he’s um absolutely loves the heavy track but yeah that um he he was transferred to us um this preparation we’ve just been working with him and um I’ve got no insight into the naming of him um but it is a it is a pretty interesting name that’s for sure well we’ve got horses like rabbit stew and Dom breaking maidens in 2024 so um I’d hate to know what the names are going to look like in say 20 years time from now but um we’ll keep digging and find out what the what both of those names and the origins uh mean when it comes to them what about your runner in Sydney today t you’ve taken him up to Royal ramick gets a soft track um he can be a little bit up and down what do you make of his chances in race eight well his best is always good enough and it’s this weather it rocks up he’s unfortunately just one of those race horses uh we do think we’re starting to recapture his three old form um but we have gone um up to Sydney we just thought it was a better of barrier so um he should get a lovely run and um hopefully uh he can bring his best ryberg getting up in the weights for winning in race nine at at corfield he’s pretty well fancied in the market what’s the Stables expectation with ryberg yeah we think he’s a terrific top three chance um as you said he does meet a few of them worse off at the weights but um he deserves that for winning last start so good uh winning form is good for him um and hopefully he can string a couple together can I pinch a Sunday tip off you you got a pretty handy team heading to Balor out and dangerous leaon in the wink skinnies On the Sunny Coast yeah I think dangerous on um will run a cheeky race and definitely worth an eway play and the best at ballat on the synthetic is the two old evaporate resuming I’m very happy with the order heing yeah I don’t think Blake Shin’s going to Ballarat uh for One race on a Sunday uh to marar around so that’s a pretty good push there for evaporate in the first tomorrow uh we’ll appreciate your time good luck thank you very much man there’s will Hayes joining us there Michael Kent Jr is with us now on the line and uh they’ve got a very handy team as well heading to corfield today and he’s back from holidays uh good morning Junior welcome home thank you Matt yeah how are you mate yeah really well thank you I haven’t got a tan like you I would imagine though yeah no I’m I’m very fortunate with the partnership structure have a a proper honeymoon so it was wonderful uh we really enjoyed it Ascot was good and was even better so um back back to uh shivering cran bur though to B of a shock what you mentioned Ascot Michael just a run during the week with with Kitty rose again what did you make of that performance it was enormous I know everyone on Twitter will see the last two fongs only but you’ve got to watch the whole race to get a picture of what happened uh she had no right to run second she oen came out with a view to lead and then Tom Maran was on one that speared right and down the straight at New Market it was probably 10 lengths in front of us but on the other side of the track and kitty was looking at it and chasing it and so we sort of went quick early quick in the middle and then it was a slob L up the hill and she was Sitting Duck for the horse was sitting behind her um should have run fifth or sixth ran second very proud of her I think she I think we bought a really nice Philly and um she ran a Korea best time form rating has pulled up enormous and we’re going to plan to go to doville in five weeks in a group two three-year-old Phillies so back against the girls only and up to 2,000 which I think she’ll love and back around the bend and the French R notoriously slowly run I think she can go to the front pick a rears and be hard to catch will she come back to Australia and race in the spring Michael after that or if you race her on now in Europe will that make it a bit too difficult no so the the reason why we’re racing her is to bring her here for the spring so we we bought her at the back end of a two-year-old year in Europe had we have bought her out via regular quarantine she would have missed a whole three-year-old season so we thought Let’s Race her while she’s three against her own and sex and um and then I really believe you know running them off the plane via where be your cany quarantine is a good recipe so she needs to stay fit and stay in training and just got to work out what race we pick you know is the Golden Eagle she’s showing me like she wants maybe a mile and further um but she’s very adapt on a on a heavy track if it rained or do you go to the Empire Rose in Melbourne so there’s just got to work at what we do but yeah very very nice Philly and um you’ll have this run maybe one more and then go into quarantine in September all right we’re looking forward to seeing her out here in Australia speaking of nice Phillies I would imagine on display as one of those um was over a million dollar purchas there and she’s by Fast Net Rock scratched during the week to uh to be saved for this assignment today what can you tell us about her uh lovely scopy Philly by Fast Net uh looks like she’ll be a real three-year-old you know spring autumn Philly uh so the best is ahead of her uh she has TR well you know she TR very well on the synthetic she Tred nicely on on the grass um we dodged Bendigo more so for the ground we think it’ be better surface today and of course she’s drawn well Daman Lane very even even um Phil’s race um I’ve done a lot of form on the replays and no surprise to see G five of them win this um I think 1100 would be the bottom of her distance range so whatever she does as long as she’s hit in the line attacking it uh we can progress up in distance and as I said as she gets older and matures she’ll be a better Philly but um yeah like her she got good strength and um no surprise to see run in the top three but it’s very much a learning curve for us today two runners in race four rezone who’s probably going to head the market he’s still a maiden but probably his last that performance is good enough to deserve favoritism heree do you line him up yeah that that that race was you know there’s a massive mid race slowdown and he had to sort of Dodge that and he still closed off in the best late splits uh his work here on tues day was excellent so that’s the only thing in the back of our mind is that it’s all first prep for him he hasn’t got that sort of um seasoning behind him like other horses in the race but he’ll be better for his one go at 2,000 um yeah he he’s he’s in a weaker race than last time so I think as long as he holds his form uh he’s clearly a winning chance how do you line him up with I ey who has got that Maiden win last start I ey was good big Improvement even though he’s by Kodiak is a noted speed day um he’s more one paac than rezone he’ll be on he’ll be going forward um rezone worked better than him on Tuesday morning and that’s probably how we see them uh I I is six months behind he’s Northern Hemisphere breed and I think he better off next preparation golden Cru goes around there in race number five over the 2,000 M looked to be a little bit disappointing there last night when he was well and truly in the market does get soft conditions to suit today in a race where there doesn’t look a heap of speed um what are your thoughts here in race number five yeah well you know what he’s like he’s onedimensional every time he races his last two splits are the worst of his race goes quick uh rolls along and he needs things to work out for him and they didn’t last time that he got pressured they went very fast and he he got tired late um yeah you say there’s not much pce here I just hope that’s that’s the case it’s a busy enough field so it can add a bit of extra pressure um if he gets things his way and and you know jockey knows him well then um we’re very happy with him here at home um his run leading into last fight was very good so I you forget that when the pressure was too hard uh you can make a case for him before we look at your Runners at the the Sunshine Coast can you give us an update on Miss Rini who was going to challenge for favoritism in the first but obviously was scratched yesterday she scoped a grade two mucus on Tuesday morning we always scoped every you know runner at their last Gallop we treated her we scoped her yesterday to see how she’d gone it had gone backwards to a Grade Three mucus so it’s just telling us that uh you know she’s um got a little bit of a cold uh We’ve um put her out in the paddock and she’s done a good job so she’s going out a duel City winner and she’ll do well for a spell and um no surprise to see you get black type as a four yard M Sunshine Coast tomorrow part of that meeting was postponed from last week still on a heavy track today and I would imagine that will suit he a shocker who had been in really good form before that last run yeah that’s the key he’s his two two runs in the last four that were ordinary were on good tracks and his two WIS on heavy tracks that’s the key to that horse no doubt uh he’s maintained his form very happy with him and uh he can run really well there’d be good Pace um dad’s old man deny knowledge will’ll be rolling along and he’ll just sort of slide forward and be uh forward to Midfield and know yeah he he can run really well in in a even race he he going super all right what you need say is a wet track for the first time in a long time what’s going to do to his chances in the glass house yeah no not sure he’s been a VI I mean clearly he’s a shade of his former self but he’s been a victim of uh very wide barriers getting back running on late Robbie Dolan was extremely happy with his run last time and suggested going up in trip so uh look I reckon he’ll enjoy he’ll enjoy the ground and he just to get a strong 14400 but he is at um at the end of his career I dare say but uh I love I mean it it would mean the world for me for him to go and win um just I just you know hopeful more than confident I suppose all right what’s The Pick of your Runners today Michael I think clearly it’s rezone um he’s the horse to beat in the race and it’s his race to lose just need to hope that he um isn’t at the end of his preparation but you know got no signs at home he worked terrific here Tuesday presents extremely well and yeah he should go there and be hard to beat just quickly looking ahead to the spring is the the former wa galloper bustling the most exciting horse in the stable ahead of the spring careful um warer bgat back actually yeah I do need to be careful well we had a we had a good Autumn didn’t we um you know uh vibrant th W to w a group one Oaks um doing things the highway and wonger W a group one Derby by by 10 and a half length so they’re obviously exciting horses um but yeah bustling I’m in love with him um I’ve only met him this week Mick’s very fond of him and he’s uh doing everything right so far looking forward to seeing if he can measure up in the East Michael great to have you back all the best this afternoon thank you guys Michael Kent J joining us there let’s have a chat now to Trent bsan because the stable have five Runners heading to corfield today good morning Trenton how are you good thank you how are you really well thank you four runners in fact after the scratching of one of those today way Mary goes around in race number one with Seline Gord in the saddle after a victory there last start at Bendigo do you have some confidence she can measure up in the city today yeah I don’t mind her she’s um she always went well and she had an injury and had a long time off the scene um and she ran on a very heavy track first up found her out and then she’s come out one against the Elder horses or be be it in a 64 grade um but I certainly always thought she had City class ability um so I think she’ll be right in the mix I think she’s a a good small field could be a tactical race and she’s a horse with a a degree of tactical versatility herself how are you reading the race uh she’ll be leading unless Linda meech wants to whip around her from that outside drawer and take it up I can’t imagine seeing anything other than one of those two being in front but we’ve drawn inside she’s got good speed I’ll be telling the jockey with to go out with an intent to lead and whether the track’s cutting out or not it’s uh you know first race at corfield D hopefully be place to be Race Six the imported Elder looks to have tril up okay and brings some quite impressive International credentials what can you tell us about him um he taken a long time to climatize he’s a he’s been here over a year and we’ve sort of had him in and out in and out um without much being wrong with him other than he’s just taken while getting a stride he is a very nice horse like you say is um International form he got beat two and a half lengths by Augusta Roden so that reads pretty well um but he’s drawn out very wide and being the being the start of a prep we’ll be riding him very conservatively he’ll be going back from the wide gate so um 59 kilos on its back it might be tough first up so as long as he’s heading the line running through the line we’ll we’ll be happy with him but I I think he will be a very nice horse going forward but like I say circumstances today whether it’s his day on day to day unsure race seven is one of the better races of the day it’s the three-year-old Sprint race over the 1100 M you’ve got an interesting horse here Rene who um is relatively unexposed but three out of the four career runs so far have been really good including a maiden Victory their last start at Swan Hill are you pretty confident he’ll measure up today oh look he he ran very good early on in his career ran two very good seconds in the city and then he went down the straight at Clemington and disappointed subsequently had a throat operation um he came back he would have liked to see him went a bit more dominant a bit more impressive at at Swan Hill to be honest he was a very short price favorite and probably should have put those horses away better than he did so whether he’s the same horse or not since he had that wind operation I’m not sure um big ask but he’s drawn down low Linda meech on board with no weight on his back he he’ll come out running and we’ll we’ll find out a lot more about the horse today he did have plenty of his abil plenty of ability but whether whether he’s the same horse or not since that operation I’m not sure all right the last race at corfield today the look of it changed a lot with scratchings now um just the the seven Runners pasero goes around from the widest alley how do you line up that horse in the last his chances will be very dependent on whether the you know whether the track stays to soft seven that’s about as he as soft as he wants it once it gets into the heavy range he’s pretty ineffective and we’ probably scratch him if there was a downgrade or he mixes his form certainly on his day he’s capable of winning this race he’s sort of he’s he’s very hot and cold uh when he puts in he he’s uh he’s you know up to this level he’s working very good he always wins at Big odds so if he’s uh he’s certainly worth having a b and I think he’s all his wins have been double figure odds so uh he’s been good if youve if you’ve stuck with him but uh he’s H Miss what’s the staes number one C today I think the first Philly I like all right she’s she’s The Pick of them all right a good price to there in the first Trent we wish you all the best good luck thanks guys cheers Trent bustard and joining us there uh let’s have a chat now to Robbie Griffith because Robbie Griffith and Matt the have got three going to corfield today after the scratching of Serena there in the third morning Robbie how are you morning matate yeah you’ve put a line through the the Pata Philly there in in race number three saving her for another day yeah we’re a little bit concerned whether she handle the soft and with the continued strengthening of rain and winter conditions she’s uh we’re going to try and wait for a slightly fir of track if possible all right you’ve got the so you think ging do you think so stepping out to the 2,000 MERS for the first time in race four will that suit this afternoon I we believe so yeah he’s uh he’s a horse that’s you know doesn’t have much race knowledge yet only having the two starts but he’s always given indicators that he’s going to run uh run over a longer journey and he’ll appreciate this Step Up in distance with his pedigree and um he’s got a good draw and he’s against his own sort of horses as the level of experience so we’re hoping that he can take another step forward he certainly done everything right at home Race Six you got the imported Nations call Robbie who seems to have climatized your stable really well he takes another Rising grade today but he’s doing that while he’s winning how do you assess him today yeah Warren he’s um he’s really pleased us and uh we didn’t sort of raise the bar or put the expectations too high to let him settle into Australia and he’s he certainly settled in well with his form and he was really good last start um Blake thought he might be a little bit better on infogram but um uh but he still won quite well and you know we’re testing the waters a bit today with the softer track rating uh he’s had a run in in Europe where he ran second on on the heavy so we’re hoping that that he can he can do it and um his work at home he seems to have handled it but naturally it’s not under the same pressure but he’s really really well he continues to please Matt and I on the team and his form his form is outstanding so fingers crossed that uh he runs up to his favorite quote of the day what about dhron in the last well he’s just a learning curve for us at the moment he’s uh he’s a horse at lost form and um hoping to change of scenery can uh can get him back to what he used to do some of his runs in in Sydney were very good when he uh when placed in a dcast of Prelude on soft ground and so on so um the best of him can be competitive we just don’t know enough about him yet that have been very happy with what we’ve seen so I think we’ll know more at 4:50 this afternoon know all right a runner at Murray Bridge today as well you’ve got clock strikes going there looking for three wins on the bounce the last two victories have come on the synthetic what about back on the grass today well it doesn’t seem to be too bad it’s a five um we were sort of contemplating not going and just staying to the packing them on Monday but um they you know surface isn’t as bad as uh was predicted to be and uh the story is the wide barriers at Murray Bridge aren’t necessarily a problem out of that shoot so we’ve elected to take on the um he W he wakes better in a race like this than he than he did at packing the Monday so he’s got his tail up he’s confident he’s in form um it’s a right distance so let’s hope that uh all that works well but we can’t see why he wouldn’t be competitive he’s traveled over well and it right what’s the best chance for your wife shiran to get some fans to go and look for some more cushions today Robbie we got one the other day on special Bea too they’re always on special always absolutely um nation’s call will stick with the inform horse uh k a half over the minimum with a good draw so we’ll stick with him and hope he handles the ground which uh yeah let’s go with him all right let’s hope there’s plenty of cushions at the end of today uh good luck Robbie all the best you met thanks for it Robbie griffi joining us there went to Robbie he’s no longer in but it was it was Shadow Griffo it was known at at some stage and I’m sure there were people in there that got lost in the sea of cushions that have been there for a while there just uh she would have one of the the biggest cushion collections in the world cushion addiction she’s the amda Marcos of cushions oh well there are some good cushions out there Warren it’s six minutes to wa we’ll take a break we’ll come back and um there’s three text messages saying where’s the rooster that’s Jack turble well he’s joining us on Matt n and Warren Huntley here on this Saturday race day morning and the rooster is with us Jack turble back from holidays himself good morning Jack how are you good morning mate very well how are you yeah well thanks how did the rooster fair in Europe uh yeah we went well yeah had a nice trip away had a wedding a friend’s wedding in Sicily and then we went to mtter and uh gree so had it nice few weeks away and um ready to rock and roll for the spring I’d suggest You’ve Got a Friend Jack whose phone number ends in 268 because we received four text messages in the last five minutes just wondering when it’s going to be rooster time and he’s very happy you’re online that’s good to hear you might be sounding signing autographs if that person is out at at corfield today you’ll be signing a few more if you can tip us into a winner though that’s what we want to know uh race two today corfield can lethal thoughts or namesake bounce back uh lethal thoughts I think’s over the price there’s all the speeds drawn outside of him uh as the team saw the race and he’ll go forward and um I think at 450 I think it was I think he’s a great place chance uh it’s a competitive field but um his last start he had to go back with the barrier but I think today we can go forward and um yeah make it his own and namesake’s going to run next week um sort of with the gate and the track we’ve just waited there all right uh the line goes through just like Gabby uh the Philly who’s out of the star group one winning May from your stable loving Gabby but bzka goes around there in race three makes its Deo can it win she can she’s still a bit racy in the sense of um let you do it all but she’s very fast um she’s related to madal which we have a high opinion of um so interesting race that it’s obviously they’re all Young Horses they’re all pretty much doing it for their first time um there’s a bit of word around for James Cummings horse and um I think a quote again 10 bucks is a good play stance can you give us some type of pecking order in race five where you’ve got Lionel Desperado conven and matron Bullwinkle we can um Desperado is the form horse so definitely sticking with him he’s he’s very tough and he’s in the best form of his of his life uh maton Bingle just seems to be finding a bit of form been a little bit frustrating she’s got ability but uh has been a bit hitting Miss so changed her training she’s done a lot on the treadmill and seems to be just finding her Rhythm now and um convina he’s had a nice run um he’ll be better for a set of Shades and the trip and Lion’s a bit of a head scratcher he’s had two two average runs uh he really cooks himself pre-ra and we’ve been working away at that Jan Welsh Etc and um we might just try ride him a bit different today and see if the result does change how do you line up lording on the Fresh side and Kettle Hill in Race Six yeah lordings had a little break off that good preparation he looks fantastic it took a while to come up um The Syndicate had been very patient just took a little bit longer than expected but um naturally here were want to run first up over 17 but uh he’s drawn a good gate hopefully the pl the track plays Fair and um yeah he’s a nice top four chance and Kettle he’ll be ridden cold uh you almost got to ride him to lose um to get the best out of him um so hopefully he’s poking through late you got four runners in race seven I want to ask you about Steel City who’s now third up did you get enough out of her last performance there at corfield to think that she might be able to recapture some of her two-year-old form we think we did yeah like she’s definitely a corner horse she didn’t really fire down the straight and she raced with the choke out a bit um so we’ve had the crossover on she raced a lot more kind and and at least she finished off because she’s got ability she’s had a long time off and I do think third up uh back at corfield soft ground she could U get back to form today what are the best of the other three in that race L pin um talented galloper so he could definitely put his hand up piastri is off of 58 so he’s got it in front of him but um few scratchings in that event so it’d be good to see where he does was fair and Yankee won had a little bit of form up in Sydney didn’t do anything last start um so she’s got a run today and hopefully she can get back to some form you got three runners in the Monash this afternoon recommendation goes there as the fresh horse is he going well enough and fought enough to be running really well here in a monach he is uh he’s only had the one jump out off his last preparation where he he went well he was up a long time um he is very much a race day horse he doesn’t give you a lot back at home so um be interesting to see how he does fire he he handles conditions small field so he is the form horse of our three um so it’ be good to see how he does go and Mrs Chrissy goes two weeks it’s a great chance to get some black type with her and um hopefully she does hit the board because we’ve got a few siblings uh in our stable that are well related can St Lawrence get revenge on rinberg in the last definitely I just having a chat to Kieran about him I think get these two and a half kilos better off um few scratchings we’ve taken two out and uh for me I thought St Lawrence was our best for the day all right there we go the best at corfield St Lawrence race nine number eight you’ve got a couple at Newcastle dooman War Nabil ramick narandra tomorrow Ballarat tomorrow is there another one somewhere yeah we take on to Nano be good big dance um qualifier which would be um nice to get him in but um yeah we take a big team everywhere I think we’ve got sort of low 30s for the day so um fingers crossed we can get a few just to keep the strike rate up but um like cinematic star in Sydney she found a nice race that’s race to number eight cinematic Star best at corfield comes up in the last St Lawrence Jack nice to have you back as well good luck this afternoon with the team Runners thank you it’s the rooster Jack turble final scratchings for corfield today let’s go through them race one number one miss Rini comes out r two numbers one Tiana two maximiliam Caesar 15 namesake 16 aapon Princess and the 18 danelli that’s 1 2 15 16 and 18 in race three two she smashes eight brutalism 11 higher calling 12 just like Gabby 13 Miss Toronado and the 15 Serena 28 11 12 13 and 15 in race four just the one scratching the two red mile comes out in the fifth six unanimous nine got to be Savvy 13 Fire Glow 2 16 rudar and the 18 Toren Zino 69 13 16 and 18 in race six three Prince of Elina four Verona seven aramco 12 River Plate and 16 Soaring Eagle 347 12 and 16 in race seven four Dipsy Doodle seven satin and silk 9 VC 12 Lane and the 11 Lord Vlados so 135 6 and 11 there’s just one late Rider alter alteration in race two the number 19 impending Shadow now to be ridden by Will price so that’s the scratchings for corfield today Warren what was the best push we got I think race four number three reone from Michael Kent Jr paraphrasing him but I think he said it’s his race to lose so race four number three and the rooster was pretty keen on St Lawrence in the last callfield he certainly was and Trent Bon gave a nice push for their runner in the first way Mary four minutes past eight we’ll take a break now people have especially when they’re doing their first jump and then when you get out of the plane there’s that experience of everything’s rushing past you it is a great adrenaline rush and then when the parachute opens there is silence it’s just a wonderful silence because you’re above all the noise and you just float in the air it’s three in a row for jalong cats they’re on track for a top four finish in the AFL after last night’s win at the m CG here’s Terry Daniel the jalong cats have been too good for Collingwood winning their third game in a row and continuing their move back up the ladder there was a 20po difference at the final siren with the cats 13391 to the pies 10171 jalong star Jeremy Cameron kicked three goals and told Channel 7 their momentum is building nicely it is you know all about momentum at the right time of the year you know winds early are very important but we did have a few quiet weeks there in in the middle but it’s good to find it especially this time of year you know uh leading into finals so still plenty of football left to be played but uh we’re we’re heading in the right direction Terry Daniel a sport Carlton Captain Patrick Cripps will run out is Saturday morning’s must listen formal set to go ready racing the best Minds in the business are ready to have their say this is the Melbourne racing Chanel on Sir John Monash Stakes day at corfield let’s welcome in the remainder of the team Mark Hunter good morning to you morning M morning everybody what’s your assessment of the nine races at the heath today lot of scratchings have sort of uh taken some value away I probably probably going to focus try making money out of three races for the day all right well we’ll find out what those three races are very shortly David gatley it’s a good morning to you welcome back to the uh Saturday punters panel after your Marathon exploits last week not good to be back yeah obviously the soft tracks just CAU a few off guard midwinter but um yeah we’ll play with the Cs were dealt and have a bit of fun mon Stakes uh generally means we’re in the middle of it but they spring on the horizon I won’t get your thoughts on the scratchings but no in terms of uh the the the races and the possibility of finding a few winners is it a car that you Keen to get involved in yeah look um it is there certainly a couple that um that will certainly handle the soft ground and you know when when key opposition there it just mathematically makes the job easier of course those same mathematics apply to the odds you Team all right that’s a good glass half full approach that I like ahead of corfield today uh Mark Almer from the tab is with us this morning good morning to you mark morning mie good to be with the panel yeah nice to see you in the studio as well um what sort of Interest has there been from the punters with regards to racing right around the country today yeah there has been winter interest if you will I think still think people are waiting for some of the better races to which will be here before we know it but in the um s johash Stakes recommendations been really solid right throughout even from Allin markets uh through Monday has been the favorite right the way through and uh returns today very very hard to beat is that the best back runner at Crawfield today no uh at the moment Ashford Street’s the one in the same race uh $6 to $5 now $480 in the main race all right well let’s get cracking with our preview of corfield nine races today to get through first is over the, 1400 M it’s for the three-year-old Phillies just the one scratching here that’s the one miss Rini so it’s a key one it means Anna’s dream is now the very short price favorite Mark yeah coming out uh yeah yesterday uh yesterday morning so we’re left with in dream as the1 65 favorite there hasn’t been too much action around romantic Choice $9 750 this morning and why Marie $111 heads the rest all right Warren um we’ve heard a couple times this morning how this might be a bit tactical how do you say it well I thinking manic choice would probably push forward from that wider draw and I still think so but Trent B Hutton pretty adamant that why Marie would be leading so they looked to control the tempo and if there’s a bit of competition between those two that just might create a lovely smooth tempo for en’s dream who I think if there’s a challenge it’s the inside draw and the fact she was a bit Keen when she was last at 14400 meters but Alex Ray outlining that was second up with a gap between runs 1100 to 1400 M he’s been able to get continuity into were racing and work subsequently and I think she’s a Justified short priced favorite as long as the race isn’t just controlled on speed and becomes a dash home but I think she’ll win in his dream but she’s at a price where you you’re probably just going to look rather than that than get involved two for me had a three inter you I think she’s quite a talent she’s only had the one recent jump out but looks to be coming to hand quite well she’s got some upside from a lowprofile stable but a really talented Philly I think four lav Zoo’s been back to the jump outs I think Julian Welsh is had a bit to do with her she had some barrier manners she had to go back and trial or jump out between runs she gets a barrier blanket on and a stallion chain at the barriers which might coincide with that remedial work that’s been done and not a lot between the two on paace Runners for me five romantic choice and four W Marie I put romantic choice in as next best 2 three four five 23 four and five for Warren in the first Mark do you expect the first favorite of the day to get home yeah I do I had the same concern as Warren maybe leaders back might have been the only issue for for in his dream but hearing that Trent buson interview they just might even charge along early and dlan might be able to pop off the fence I think barring bad luck it should win to beat number four L zo who was a good win all beat a month ago on heavy track had those issues war in reference third pick number three Inu good Philly uh coming in off just the one trial Fitness maybe a query I thought number five romantic Choice was your leader early and I thought it might be able to hang on for a place but two should win two four three and five two four three and five Gat your thoughts in the first yeah look it’s a really good race for her in his room with m b not there um just an excellent finale first up she was good second up R into a good one in Miss Ari who went to Queensland and Stakes place um and did it uh then the gap between runs last time and had the little setback I think we all thought that might bring her on down but we were right but not by a long way she charged time and now gets back out to 400 withed Fitness and just impressed Ted bunny was able to get the word continuity out all in one uh one go it’s one of the tougher ones Inu yeah I think she’s a good talent as well she showed plenty in the first didn’t she well in a couple of group two races around group one performed threey old so youd certainly put that on your CV loveo was a nice win first up against Elder horses and was a really good uh run second up last prep in a deep 64 race on their cup day with the patn against and there’s romantic Choice who’s genuine 2 three four five two3 four and five for gator in the first Warren Huntley goes 23 four and five as well and Mark Hunter’s numbers are 2 4 3 and five so all of the opinion that en’s dream will get the chocolates in race number one second event at corfield today is at 12:35 it’s over the 1400 M of Benchmark 78 scratchings here are numbers 1 2 15 16 and 18 how’s the market shape up here Mark namesake came out this morning with just two cents of deductions alapon princess a couple of days ago now we if with his betet is the 370 favorite and has been around that quite throughout betting step aside $460 in from $6 on opening and El Rocco the best backed $950 into $5 getting a wet track today also I’ll draw attention to five Kingswood first start in Australia for Maddy Raymond an entire by roaring line there have been a few little bits around for it hasn’t moved much in betting but 16 just out to 17 one worth watching leading towards Wards the start of the second mck shy all over El Rocko an H price there yesterday Mark how do you see the speed here in the second General fire power will lead and Lead fairly comfortably I think looking to take the sit behind it you’ve got El Rocko from one uh maybe healing Oasis maybe sandpaper and I’m not sure what they do with who’s betet from the outside gate maybe it rolls across and looks for a spot but General fire power should dictate I think El Rocko is an hway certainty here it’s a horse that just relishes soft ground it was terrific at sand down to starts ago just in the wrong lane for the day went to bellette never ever going to lose bolted in sits just behind them here and I don’t think it can miss I think five kingswood’s the danger this horse got to run behind Crystal black over there overseas that’s terrific form comes here and troll well I think it’s big odds third pick 11 he’s beset very consistent just needs luck from the gate and another roughy for the place here number 17 Rick C who comes back off a break good horse and triling well but k seven hway 751 and 17 751 and 17 Gator how do you see the second yeah look I’m a bit of a step aside fan um I am concerned about a soft seven I was sort of hoping 6 fiveish um but yeah didn’t get the memo about midwinter either uh look was a tri start before just failing to handle a very heavy ground first start unlucky second Kenzo second up last prep in a good race they’re expecting better here but just lost a little a little bit of confidence he’s set job done fresh that for Frank bit stiff L side month off in the latest back in trip surg late somehow I missed that uh photo what a time to be alive now back up 100 meters El Roco uh yeah really good way track of LLY um probably the safest way to go gets a good trail fence is okay and Rog rocker least the best value getting to, 1400 sand paper another one at Value if you’re playing Exotics 14 11713 1417 and 13 for gatada in race number two Warren your thoughts I’m with our Rocko hway to I think getting his toe in the ground is obviously a key to him running his best and reasonable speed up front the race should flow along okay and I’m sure Jamie mod will be able to get clear air when he needs it so happy to be with him each way seven El Rocco he Bes set’s got that wide draw to overcome but probably no one better than um Blake Shin to be able to try and orchestrate away either by going forward early or doing some ducking and weaving but it’s probably got to be one or the other but he’s going well luck from the draw he’s in the mix agree with Mark about Rick’s Cafe lowprofile stable a horse who’s got real talent looks to have jumped out well I think probably got a great place chance Rick’s Cafe at odds and 14 step aside wouldn’t want it any wetter next best for me 71 17 and 14 711 17 and 14 for Warren Mark H Go 75 11 and 17 David gle’s numbers 14 10 11 7 and 13 third at corfield today is for the 2-year-old Phillies over the 1100 M takeout numbers two she smashes eight brutalism 11 higher calling 12 just like Gabby 13 M tonado and the 15 Serena 28 11 12 13 and 15 how’s this market look uh Mark just the 10 cents of deductions coming out with early scratchings here I’m better off telling you what hasn’t been backed a bit of a scattergun approach many opinions for this 2-year-old Phillies event on display $550 after 10 was put up earlier husk $750 on Wednesday now $6 down to turbinado $10 into 650 for galphin Manolo bling was the one that was backed early prior to this morning’s scratchings 15 into 750 now into 650 after those late ones the late early ones if you will uh loafer $8 from 13 and also barisa has been 15 into 9 so movement everywhere and I’m sure we get a much clearer picture again as we get closer to the start time all right Gator have you got a clear picture around the speed here in the third no idea but I’m just writing down late early ones good one Mark we love your work um couple of these that we’ve seen on Game Day have some natural speed CL view Porsche Crystal turbado F the trials have some natural speed but as far as a map goes it’s it’s close to a guess as you can get on display for me wide in the trial hit the lead nuted beat the third horse well and wasn’t overly punished just cost him a lazy 1.1 million which today’s terms is probably about $1250 terado just missed in a jump out under no riding long odds on on De beat a horse called skycap that horse then ran into bulber still Bea about seven length for give the second up Miss with heat stress that will slow you up bar bzka W off speed in jump out ridden but one okay and there husk who’s not a star but you know was originally seventh pick and gets promoted 18561 1856 and one for Gator you got a firm opinion here Warren not a firm opinion no mdy but I do like the way that turbinado Tred up the jump outs at Flemington if you’re sitting in the three or four wide line on those inner tracks I think the most recent jump out was on the stuple grass track if you’re holding your ground or making ground you’re going pretty well because the horses near the inside there have got a real advant in terms of covering less ground and getting a softer run I think she’s trolled up well got a good chance in a in a race where we got plenty to learn like what I’ve seen from number 18 on display looks a Philly with a bit of scope that in time might get out over further but she looks to move really nicely 17 Manalo bling looks to have trolled up with a little bit of intent to make the debut and don’t mind what I’ve seen from six bzka but not a lot would really surprise here do think turban AOS TR up well to be worth considering perhaps on an H basis five 18 17 and oh yeah 518 17 and six 518 17 and six Mark what have you found for us here in the third got no idea what we win this race I’ll tip number 17o bling who sits back behind them has been triling quite well should get a nice run just behind the speed from the draw 16 star Angels about 50 to1 I thought the recent trial behind Dom who we saw come out at chalong obviously and win well thought that trial wasn’t hopeless for LOA at least has got race Fitness on it and 18 on display TR alongside a horse who failed of Bendigo but we forgive everything that failed at Bendigo on that track during the week 17 16 4 and 18 17 16 4 and 18 for Mark Warren Huntley goes 5 18 17 and six and David gatley goes 185 6 and one in a race where it probably feels like we will learn a fair bit about a lot of those Runners just before we go to the ad break uh Mark there’s a text message here for you your ramar ruffy has been scratched that cinematic star but it does run in Sydney today Jack turble said it was the best for the stable up there um would you be still interested to play in Sydney today or you leaving that alone oh you better ask Gator there I’m completely out of my depth over the border so Gator would have a far better idea of that race than me right I Gat are you giving cinematic star a chance in the second at Ram today just caught me on the Hop yeah great great work giving me the race number because I would have spent four days looking for on the Big 10 race card there cinematic star fourth pick um thought had it chance latest but only two Ls off in flight now makes that six kilos better so chica can make a good case all right well hopefully that has given the listeners what they need with regards to that horse in Sydney today we’ll take a break 24 minutes past 8 we’ll come back and continue on our preview of corfield on the other side boost your home street appeal with doors Plus for a limited time the 1hour weekend football review Monday mornings from 7:30 this is Saturday morning’s must listen form hour the Melbourne racing panel welcome back to the Melbourne form panel here on this Saturday race day morning Sir John mes Stakes day corfield we’re up to race number four it is over the 2,000 M for the three-year-old just the one scratching the two red mile comes out looks a pretty hot favorite here in race four Mark yeah $29 into to 260 for rezone out of that mahogany series from Flemington didn’t go to the final over 2500 m a few of these I dare say better suited over 2,000 M which we find out more from our form experts but rezone is the one along with I’ll draw your attention to do you think so for Blake Shin into $850 from $14 and this is after only the 5 cents worth of deductions for Red Mile the other one that just had a bit of backing late there was a bit of a ratf around Flemington this Cru Waller train matusalem uh was 6 out to 11 but it’s just come back into $8 in around the last half an hour to an hour D Lane sits on How does the speed look here Warren I thought perhaps do you think so might be somewhere near the speed with eye for an eye I don’t know if there’s a clearly defined leader here but the field size itself should mean that there’s at least a reasonable Tempo and I think if rezone can hold his form from that run at Flemington different scenario here callfield and more rain affected ground than than he saw last time but if he can just reproduce that form then I think he can break his Maiden here there’s not a lot of outstanding form here that’s significantly better than Maiden grade and he’s definitely got maidens within his scope so I’m keen on him I think he can win three rezone can understand the support from atum I thought through the line did enough behind Craig in a strong race last start six pure grunt gets the blinkers on looks like the riseing distance will suit and seven Bogle Legend might have had excuses in the same race as rezone last start but yeah I’m thinking rezon got him covered from that meeting 3167 31 six and seven for Warren Mark your thoughts here in the fourth I keep reone but I don’t think it’s don’t think it’s over the line by any stretch I think you if you just take the best run third t State’s the best run coming into this race so it is the one to beat but I think a couple of good value dangers I thought 11 Willer Belo was one of them I think getting out to 2,000 M will be a big plus for this horse it’s going to be buried back inside just needing luck and six pure grunt pure grun comes off a mad leaders day at Bendigo on De ran terrific then went and got the job done on the synthetic I think wet ground will suit it I think 2,000 meters will suit it and I think blinkers is a big plus so pure Grant a good value hope as well and fourth pick number one matum who did get through the line well last time and looks ready for 2,000 M 316 and 1 316 and 1 for Mark Gator rezone was the first magnet on the board on Thursday on the game plan you are pretty confident today yeah look nothing’s really changed since Thursday red miles come out had it fifth pick so I guess that makes the case a fraction stronger if you like mathematically clearly a done deal three OD on the AR you know we know they keep improving as a breed and was only starting number four the other day I know he was big ODS but he ran really well and he beat the fourth horse clearly that was lady in pink had been flying and some really good horses behind even the fifth horse I think get some group one form over from New Zealand so I have to think it’s the right form Mam’s a horse that has talent and I’ve I had a bit of time for him for a long for a long time and for he gives a first up run on that tough track let’s say just held gr Flemington but it was a fast sort of on paace Race wasn’t it so just three-y old right out to 2000 me he’s the one that can improve B legend I gave him some hope in the rezone race last time but he was thrashed I know he had semi excuses he held up but once he was clear he didn’t do much um at all so dday looms there and agree with Mark to some extent will BL been looking for 200 me for a couple of months 3171 317 and 11 for gatada Mark Hunter goes 316 And1 and Warren Huntley goes 3-1 6 and 7 in race four at corfield the fifth event today is over the 2,000 m as well this is a benchmark 78 uh you can remove number six unanimous nine got to be Savvy 13 Fire Glow 2 16 rudar and the 18 Toren Zeno does the money keep coming here for the 10 little Jack mark it does Matt uh we’re looking at 320 now in from $420 and even this morning uh yeah that 340 into to 320 just continues to come racing clearly well $550 from 750 for Jabba walks on the second line and also golden Crusader just 11 chipped away it into $9 much speed here Mark uh the speed will be golden Crusader hopefully it doesn’t go as hard as it did last time with Vegas KN and Fagen box seating from down low but I thought golden Crusader would get a fairly comfortable lead here I’ll tip little Jack it did have the race put on for it last time and had the right weight to um to capitalize on what had happened up front during the run but G it won well it’s a horse on The Improv so we’ll go with it again to beat 17 Fagen who went forward in that race was the best of the onp speed horses fought on really well gets a great run here three Desperado won the same day won well 3 kilo claim and eight golden Crusader who was progressing nicely Looking ready to win just went way too hard last time rates itself better here it’s got a hope 1017 3 and eight 1017 3 and8 for Mark in race number five gator how do you see this one uh yes same Trifecta little Jack um he did relish the strong speed didn’t he but he just moved into the race nicely and he sort of w running away despite running about so that just gives you a lot of upside so it was probably too good a win to go against him you know in saying that Fagan joined in the Long Way from Home there and and was Brave he beat all bar little Jack who was better suited let’s say the way that Z race sh and has a two and a half kilo swing so with a softer run which won’t be difficult he um he is a danger Desperado Good 2000 met horse isn’t he no knock at all good win latest month between runs ignore the overall times with those two me had rain on the day and One race was run at a fearsome speed so it wasn’t really any gued I’m thinking jaboy uh certainly still in the mix somewhere with with Shin up I don’t think it was in the eight plus Grand latest 10 17 3 and 12 1017 3 and 12 Warren have you got him winning as well little Jack I haven’t but I’m seeing the race very similarly to to the guys we’re working around the same three or four key selection and I thought Fagen as Mark outlined he was the best of the horses in that High Press race that was on speed last start he maps for a better run here and he’s double figure odds and he’s got a weight swing on little Jack which is not everything but I’m happy to be with Fagan hway here 1 head of little Jack who just seemed to Rish the way that race set up for him and and he’s a horse with genuine upside eight golden Crusader just hoping that race takes the edge of him to some extent and he doesn’t get the pressure on speed cuz I thought that was the right race for him last start stepping up and controlling and hopefully he’s able to do that today I think if he can then he can be in it for a long way and three Desperado won the second division of that race I thought you know you can look at times and ratings and say it was a weaker division but you know Desperado was just in the race that he was in and he won well and he’ll run well again with any luck from the draw 7 hway for me ahead of 108 and three 7 10 8 and three for Warren Mark HRA is with the 10 little Jack ahead of 17 3 and8 David gatley also with Alex rays Vel ER 10 17 3 and 12 text can you please read me the scratchings of race 5 again I can they are 69 13 16 and 18 Race Six is over the 1700 M it’s a benchmark 84 scratchings here take out numbers 347 12 and 16 that’s 347 12 and 16 how’s the market look here Mark nation’s call another for Blake Shin Robie Griffith and Matt deck racing really well uh $310 from $5 we’ve only had the 8 cents of deductions come out here lording on the second line 750 into 6 then down to Alder there was money very early on $10 into $7 now back out to $10 for this horse having its first start here in Australia by Australia uh and there has also been a speaker around for first mate $31 into $23 all right G what’s your analysis of the speed here yeah it looks like a nation score probably leads to be sure precious charm LED it to fast speed two runs ago that missed the kick latest so um fancy they’ll go forward if she jumps cleanly British Columbia perhaps next on the map I think precious Chan’s a good roughy here she worked early two runs to go reference out went way too hard for mine in front then missed the kick last time in an on paace day with 61 still made Brown this is going really well and uh Was Juicy odds lording been terrific since the blinkers went on nice work in the RAC and jump and he wasn’t KN bad he was the same heat as Elder who makes the Australian Deo Elder beat him home it certainly under some pressure he went well not if it was a trial of the year but yeah it was good the Nations call off back toback wins good form betting a wash last start who then won and beat some key Rivals here 17 1115 and two 171115 and two for Gat in Race Six Warren how do you see it love the way lording appears to be triling up I know he’ll be better over further and preps with a run under the belt but just looks to be as sharp as he could be for me in the work leading into this first up run at a suitable trip of 1700 happy to be with him hway 11 lording head of 15 Nations call who’s progressing really well this is another Rising grade but he’s got a good racing style he gets the pre-race emfs on today and uh he just seems to have acclimatized really well to the Griffith Tock system to be sure was good first up he’ll be fitted with that run under the belt the R in distance suits and like the way that aler appears to be triling up here listening to Tren he’s going to be ridden conservatively he’s going to be there to just do no early work from that draw and be strong late but his International form credentials are strong and he looks to have Tri up okay 115 5 and two 115 5 and two for Warren in the six Mark who are you with the same four numbers as Warren just a different order here number five to be sure I thought would run well I think first up just outs sprinted over the 4 set up on the spe was out sprinted was Ring strongly through the line I think it’s fitter extra distance suits soft track no worries can take a spot up the front get a nice run to beat 11 lording probably wasn’t that boed by The Stables r that it will need the run and improve but gee I thought it tried well and came a long way last campaign number two Elder that’s fantastic form the San Antonio Augustine Roden um it’s terrific form over there it’s it’s just got to bring that over here and then then 15 Nations call who is going well in weaker races the weight drop will help it 5112 and 15 5112 and 15 for Mark in race 6 Warren Huntley goes 11 15 5 and two and David gle’s numbers are 17 11 15 and 2 it’s 23 minutes to 9:00 we’ll take a break come back and preview the remaining three races at corfield hey you right now you’re three-year-olds over the 1100 M you can take out numbers four Dipsy Doodle seven satin and silk 9 VC 12 cinematic star 15 spicy Mars and the 16 unconquerable so 47 9 12 15 and 16 how does the market look here Mark only 5 cents coming out this morning and there’s been money this morning for marble 97 into $5 and Oak Hill 750 into $550 but there was good early support to Matt for rewards of more tab 17 for Jerome Hunter $15 went up on Wednesday and we’re currently into a price of 850 all right Warren talk me through your thoughts on the speed here I thought working from the inside marble 99’s probably the the first to the fence if that’s where they choose to be but has a bit more speed than revine and tumbling drawn to the inside of of marble 9 then working out don’t know if graci’s rain will be that far away still City getting fitter capable of being positive galong is probably the one out wider that that’ll press forward and just inside gal along major share probably not too far away so I think it’ll generate a reasonable speed real query runner in in Oak Hill he’s two explosive winds this campaign round a Bend off speed quickening very impressively set up really well for a race like this then he had that run down the straight where things didn’t work out good Insight from Glenn Thompson earlier on that the gear of the kite noseband has worked in in track work to hopefully get him to to settle a bit had that jump out between runs if he can bounce back to to that form leading into that run down the straight and Damen Lane getting back aboard I thought he’s got a great chance three kill six major share he takes a rising grade here but we don’t have a ceiling on him yet he probably looked to be a bit vulnerable late last start and and this is tougher but yeah a horse that keeps winning I’m reluctant to dismiss get along we be fitter for that first up run I think he’ll push forward I think he’s suited by the slight Rising trip and 10 marble n’s going really well as is the stable 361 and 10 361 and 10 for Warren in race number seven Mark do you like anything here oh it’s wide open no firm opinion I’ll pick number three Oak Hill I think a couple of things getting D Lane back on board he’s he wins on the horse and just not the sort of horse that I don’t think was ever going to handle straight racing so back around a Bend is much more suitable for oill to beat number one get along who chased that fast pace first up and ran well we fitter 17 rewards and more had a good first campaign looks to be tring really well and two Steel City had the two runs back I thought the last run was good teams huge odds just might be in the right part of the track running on 31 17 and two 31 17 and two for Mark in the seventh Gator are you with oill as well yeah I think you boun back around the band think he’s a really good horse he ran slick Time Fresh terrific wi Lakeside pretty much against the patent Runner upan yeah just never looked happy did he up the straight I thought he ran okay give all that Myriad of excuses major share unbeaten R good time fresh up of belong Jong where is it B go same track and trip latest carried the weight in both those WIS and certainly on the upward SP 1100s okay marel 9 still on the upward trajectory as well the right to party for easy to life and get along in the 36 10 and one 36 10 and 1 for Gator 3117 and two for Mark 3 61 and 10 for Warren in race number seven race eight at corfield today is the feature it’s the group three Sir John Monash Stakes worth $200,000 and scratchings are clear in the feature which way is the money going Mark uh recommendation in Ashford Street very quickly too Matt for anybody looking to have a first four today projected $200,000 first four poola $30,000 the jackpot amount so get involved with a first four recommendation 280 as mentioned at the top in from 320 Mornington glor is the one that’s been soft 320 out to $370 and Ashford Street punters warming towards Damen Lane going on this Tom dabon Train Runner who’s stables in great form that might have something to do with the money too six into 480 running down Mrs Chrissy was given a great Push by kirar throughout the week 550 party for two $9.50 Shiva $26 little Miss Kuby 31 and Calia is at $34 a few billies and Mayes trying to get some black type on their CV just the eight Runners Mark does it look a pretty clearcut map think they’ll just basically constantina back from their barriers I thought gate one party for two wood league with Mrs Chrissy outside in two Ashford Street may end up third inside which is a bad spot with Morning Glory outside of stalking and then you’d think Blake could just be tracking on recommendation be tracking bone ever in morning and Glory so they should just fall down in their barrier order I would think I’m going to tip number one Ashford Street my only reservation would be if it got stuck leaders back the horse is flying Tom D’s got it going super it’s going that well on dry ground it’s a length better horse on soft ground and it gets Delan here for the first time so as long as it’s not lead us back and held up I think Ashford Street is an hway special to beat number three Morning Glory came a long long way last campaign recent trial good should get a beautiful run on the back of Mrs ch Ry third pick I thought number eight sha wasn’t hopeless just blew out first up will be fitter and two recommendation who should be just following the long in the Run R and tri look good will be in the Finish 138 and two 138 and two Gator who do you think wins the monach yeah look I’m going to tip Mornington Glory he resumes he was ridden sure but he bolted in the jump out all his fresh forms good all his 1100 meter form is good and includes group Bally play placing here so pretty easy to like recommendation was right on his heel in said Oly play he was beaten about five or six lengths by morning and Glory they jumped out together um I thought they went equally as well as each other recommendation was under no writing and it was a beautiful piece of work to my I Ashford Street this went to the outside rail at Flemington wrong place and the Reign’s a big bonus for this horse he was a terrific uh second it wasn’t he um beaten in very fast time he could certainly win goes in quate part for two certainly in the game as well and I’m always nervous when the stable uh Rave about one that I’ve left out that’s Mrs Chrissy I just see wait for AG might bring on done here um but um if Kieran M’s confident I have less confidence about myself 32 one and seven 32 one and seven for gator in the monach Warren which way are you going I’m with Mornington Glory but the track condition’s probably the query I know he’s jumped out well on soft ground but his race day form indicates he probably wants it as firm as it could be today heard Gavin B good during the week just indicate that he thinks the horse is really handling it and maybe as a more mature horse he he will handle the conditions today there was some intent I think in the most recent jump out agree with Gator recommendations jumped out well and sometimes it does come down to intent but with that extra jump air under the belt and that intent I think that prepares Mornington Glory better for this race and uh look I’m with him but slight reservations about the track condition Ashford Street’s going really well he just lost momentum at a crucial stage down the straight last start get Damen Lane aboard here and if he can just make sure that he does flow into the race and not get that impeded momentum as Mark said some risk that he gets trap leaders back here but G’s going well for the new stable and he’s been a good horse right throughout his career recommendation Dred up nicely behind Mornington Glory I think has to be included but more likely to improve with the run and five Mr Chrissy She’s Fit she likes 1100 M but the wait for age is obviously a test for her 312 and five 312 and five for Warren in the MH 138 and 2 for Mark and 32 1 and 7 for David gatley in this afternoon’s feature at corfield the last race is a benchmark 100 over the, 1400 M and there’s been a few scratchings here one Blazer Trail three military expert five degraves six Chon Lane and the 11 Lord Vladivostok what has that meant for the market Mark Jon Lane has left the big to Matt 14 cents Blazer Trail 6 cents 2 cents for uh deg gra so 22 cents in total ryberg at $260 we’re now left with St Lawrence is at $330 there was early money for Estero when markets first came out on Wednesday went 26 straight into $14 which is I think worth noting and we have taken a couple of uh smaller bets on dhron with the new stable Robbie griffi and Matt Dock and Damen Lane rides the son of Franklin the golden super winner Moss fun Gator Jeff on the SMS machine says it looks a bit dodgy there’s not much speed here in the ninth race is that how you say it as well yeah look I don’t think there’s a natural leader um it’s probably ryberg military experts Le R before goes forward without leading St Lawrence goes forward probably without leading so I think that’s a fair comment um sort of gravitating to those two of be right up on the speed in rinberg and sence there wasn’t much between them last time ryberg was a bit stronger but proba in the better part of the track s has a little relative weight swing and he’s earlier in the prep so not sure there’s a lot between them the fog’s been solid both runs back as this really nice third up profile not only drops eight kilos but he’s in really well relative weight against ryberg from The Clash last prep and for sko somewhere in the mix 48 10 and seven 48 10 and seven for Gator what are you coming home with here Warren I think Ryan Berg and St Lawrence are probably the two key chances the markets identified them out of the key leadup race is a weight swing St Lawrence’s favor but that’s only a piece of the puzzle rinberg got back in winning form I’m with him four ahead of eight St Lawrence who can certainly bridge the gap and get close if not defeat ryberg I want to include lfag down in the weights third up profile and and that weight swing relative to some key opposition from previous meetings and maybe 12 regards Marie coming through that key form race next best a potential blowout in the small field agree it could be a bit of a tricky race but I’m folding to the rinberg St Lawrence form line 48 10 and 12 48 10 and 12 for Warren Mark what are your set of numbers in the last same as Warren 48 1012 I think 4 and8 will Savage the judge as Gator said there’s no speed on paper I think ryberg will go forward control the race does have a weight swing over St weight swing against it over St Lawrence but I think it’ll just dictate the race it handles the ground it knows how to win and rinberg is the one to beat number eight St Lawrence needs another win on the board think from that barrier it’s drawn to just stalk rinberg the whole way try and run it down and got a great chance for the claim third pick number 10 laag very well waited it’s got some hope and 12 regards Marie is not far off improving was back and wide and ran on quite well last time but I think 4 and eight dominate 48 10 and 12 48 10 and 12 for Mark Warren Huntley also tipping the four reinberg ahead of 8 10 and 12 David gatley also with that galloper 48 10 and and 7 it’s 10 to9 if you’ve got a question for the team send them through 041 690 5052 I’ll ask that on the other side to our three judges I haven’t got a prize to give away if I had an odyssey a i poed I’d give it away to the best question but um all I’ll have to do is just congratulate you on asking a good question so get them in 0416 95052 and hopefully we can get the demons tonight Mark they’re without their spiritual leader their captain in Max gone so no surprised to see them drift a little bit but can they cause a bit of an upset tonight at the MCG it’s going to be hard without Max it’s going to be hard I don’t think last week was any gu whatsoever against the The Witches hats so this week will be much harder be pretty tough without Max I reckon all right we’ll cross our fingers in our toes anyway Mark all the best this afternoon on the punt hopefully we can make some money thank you there’s Mark Hunter joining us there David gatley how are you playing corfield from a best value and quality point of view uh all righty best race for number three rone value Race Six number 17 precious charm partwise let’s go 17 11 15 and two let’s go 3 6 10 and one let’s go 3 two and one and let’s go 48 10 okay that sounds like a little plan for us at corfield today what about Interstate have you got a best bet for me around the grounds I’ve only done melin Sydney of course for the OZ Racing family and the loyal RSN family as well so so we are best there race n number n Bar on the loose value in Sydney Ram race eight number 10 Bojangles I think getting to, 1400 big track um J Keeny runs well and he he around $9 last look all righty are you doing the Sunshine Coast tomorrow or do you get that one off uh I didn’t know they were racing so I guess I’m off yeah fair enough um have you got the par in front of you uh we have the world famous par of course got the world famous one and the infamous one um which aren’t actually ANS now uh so us there Warren how are you playing corfield today what’s your best value in qu I thought the best was race one number two enna’s dream but she’s probably a bit short so I’ll go with race four number three rezone happy to play hway race two number seven Al Rocko but I’ll make race five number 17 Fagen at better odma value hway play quy first Le numbers 11 15 5 and two taking 3 61 and 10 in the second league going with 312 and five in the third leag coming home with numbers 48 and 10 you ask for some feedback via the SMS MD you’ve got some of it so you better get to that short you’re running out of time no there’s a couple of texts here there’s actually one here from Michael in Southbank he says does the panel think the Ser John Monash field is light for $200,000 Sprint race well I think the obvious answer is yes but the probably the better question is why do you have a thought around why it’s light this time of the year Warren well it is early to to have your better Sprinter sometimes you get the offseason sprinters trying to to sort of pinch a bit a bit of black type and yes it’s small but we we have so much racing and the spring has been spread out as we know now so it does make it difficult and if you look at recent winners Sai maliva red can man jungle Edge oak door it’s sort of catering to that class of horse you never get your Elite sprinters up and running but I think the club probably would have pervert a bigger field if that’s what the SMS is referring to it’s certainly a bit ligh in numbers for the prize money someone wants to know your thoughts on what a deal as well there in race so mck shy was he wanted to back there yesterday but he couldn’t because of the barrier um do you think what a deal can cause an upset potentially in Race Six today well he could because his best is good enough but I think that question’s best asked to the horse because I’m just not too sure whether he’s going as well as he can be and he’s probably just a bit of a conundrum for the stable there’s a text here asking whether Joe Biden might be able to take up a leadership position somewhere in racing I would imagine not going off his recent form and Rory from Philip isand says boys has the Donald meeting been abandoned and uh that is no it’s transferred to war correct yeah that’s right that’s today’s meeting at warville and tomorrow’s meeting at bout Well’s getting confused has been moved onto the synthetic um it was originally on the grass um Warren enjoy your afternoon good luck and hopefully we can find a few winners thanks Manny there’s Warren Huntley joining us there mark Almer from the tab is with us Mark what’s been best back ride around the country Before We Say Goodbye at race to number seven we’ll stick with corfield El Roco $950 into
