You made us dream.
You made us believe.
You made us cry.
And you made us proud.

As Andy Murray takes to the court with his brother Jamie for the last time, we say thank you Andy, a tribute to a true Wimbledon Champion.

  1. He did great. I think the AELTCC
Should ban anyone who has just had surgery before the Championships.
His stay there decended into farce.

  2. None of these people mean anything to me personally and yet here I am watering up. An amazing tribute video.

  3. For everything in life there's a time and a season! I wish Andy Murray all the best in his new endeavours. I'll never forget his 2012 season, especially the way he destroyed Federer at the Olympics Gold Medal match at Wimbledon . Although some Federer fans claimed he was tired following his record-breaking marathon semifinal match against Del Potro. But the truth is Andy Murray was in God mode.

  4. People remember Federer, Nadal, & Djokovic. But there was a time when it was called the Big Four. Not the Big Three. Andy Murray was that 4th. He is the only man to have won the Gold medal twice in Singles. He is often the forgotten man but man was he always around at the end of tournaments.

  5. In any other Era of Tennis, he would have been the GOAT. Only five Players in History have been in all Four Semi-finals in the same calendar year, and Andy is one of them and the Only Player to Win back-to-back Olympic Gold Medals. He brought us some of the greatest tennis of all time.

  6. Journalist: "The first U.S. player …"
    Andy Murray: "MALE player"
Journalist: confused "I beg your pardon?"
Andy Murray: "The first MALE U.S. player …"
    Andy is an ally.
    CLASS. ACT.

  7. Man I cried so hard watching this and his doubles match with his brother Jaimie. My idol and will always still be an inspiration to me as a player. Best of luck in your retirement Andy. 👏 🇬🇧 🏆

  8. 3 major titles, two Olympic gold medals, which is more than Federer, Nadal and Djokovic combined, a silver medal in doubles, the Davis Cup, one ATP Finals and 14 Masters titles, regularly having to get through Federer, Nadal or Djokovic to win a Masters. World number one. That is one heck of a career by most people’s standards. So what if Federer, Nadal and Djokovic won more majors? Does it matter that much? The point is that people forget, when Andy was getting through them to win anything, very few other players were. Nowadays a few players can say they have beaten one or other of the so called ‘big three’, but it wasn’t like that when Andy was getting through one or other of them, when they were arguably at their best. It’s statistical fact that Andy was the most consistent against all of the so called ‘big three’ at their height, so it automatically follows that there was a big four and Andy was very much a part of it. I don’t like Federer or Djokovic and I’m lukewarm on Nadal if I’m honest, but what I can see is that all of them have respect for Andy and know exactly what he’s achieved and the importance of that. They know he was very much a part of them. It’s a pity that sometimes fans of one or other of them forget the respect shown to Andy by arguably the best players ever to play the game and resort to insults. If Federer, Nadal or Djokovic could hear some of the insults their fans have levelled at Andy I suspect they would be dismayed and embarrassed. The only thing none of the so called ‘big three’ will ever relate to because they will never experience it, is what Andy went through because he has a major tournament in his own country and no Brit had won it since the 30s. The fact that Andy won Wimbledon twice is a testament to his strength of character and his endless desire to win. Britain now has a number of players coming through, with Jack Draper probably the best of them. What we will probably never have again is an Andy Murrray. We couldn’t possibly have another one. Andy Murray was and is a one off, a true great.
