hi everyone today I want to introduce you to a brand new line of Callaway wedges this is a new opus okay so two wedges in the Opus line you got Opus and Opus Platinum first up the Opus now this is the most validated wedge that we’ve ever made we’ve spent several years speaking to tour players putting this in tour players bag and arrived on the shape actually it’s a S6 that’s been in the players bag for a while so shape six we’ve arrived at iteration that we think is really really special and very very popular on tour as of today this wedge comes with a really aggressive spin package so spin gen technology this includes three different types of Technology that’s going to help you spin the ball round the green and really get some control so first up we have a tighter pitch in the groove package so the grooves are closer together than ever before then we have a robust face blast as well really important to get that roughness on the face to really grab the ball and then we actually have some grooves so when you open the face up they’re going to square up so when you really want some spin around the greens you want to Loft the ball up a bit but still get some control we have that as well so that is spin J and that comes across both the wedges and then we have the Opus platinum and this where it gets really special we have metal injection molding so this is where we use a multitude of different Metals put them together to create a unique feeling wedge and you will feel this when you hit it you’ll feel the face is a little stickier and then on top we have a Tungsten material so we’ve used tungsten for the first time lifting the CG up so you’re going to see a lower ball flight more control so if you like that this is going to be the wedge for you so both wedges come with premium componentry first up the Opus has a dynamic gold mid 115 shaft and then in the openis Platinum we really taking it to a new level with a gunmetal Dynamic Gold Tour ISU 115 shaft the Opus has a zed grip and the open is platinum has a multi compound Golf Pride multi compound so some real premium components there to match a very very special wedge head indeed there’s four different grinds in the Opus so we have a te grind a tour grind that is really for the player is very creative around the greens going on from that is a SE grind so uh a little bit more bounce in there but still for the player that wants a lot of creativity really the most popular wedge grind for a lot of players is going to be the S grind that’s going to offer a lot of Versatility from hitting full shots into the Green in the bunkers and then we have a w grind with a lot of Bounce there really going to give you a lot of help in those soft Turf conditions and then in the Opus Platinum we have a zed grind and we have an S grind so two different options there as well so please have a look at the Calla website have a look at the grind speechy Callaway retailer important you do that thank you for watching and we’ll see you all next time [Music]
