[Applause] all right here we go this is uh they’re in the final three loser finishes third winner goes to the finals to play Dora we’ll have to double dip Dora um look like chair the flip or the lag and she’s breaking first she made a ball in the break so she’s going to be able to pick and choose what she wants here actually like solids probably a little better than Stripes but doesn’t look like she has a really good shot on a solid so she’ll probably be starting with stripes here um which aren’t too bad she just has to figure something out for that 15 and 14 over over on this end of the table here for okay this is Kim’s first chance at the table today in a match sure she has done their practice in a bit but uh I originally said I liked solids um the landscape changed a little bit with those first couple shots cherish did and then when she missed it created more of a cluster here but Kim uh Kim’s got an opportunity here she’s got some breakouts she can use the six here um cut that in and come off and and break these balls out here uh she just got to get a good angle at it it also looks like the the five ball goes clean down here so if she gets the correct angle on that then she sorry about that got cut off so if she gets the correct angle on that five she can break it out from there um but with that Miss on the two it changed things a little bit too that eight balls right near that pocket looks like she left cherish a cut shot on the 14 maybe probably the shot because she should be able to get things opened up here for herself but she needs to make this ball oh she tried to combo there so she must not have been able to see the edge of that 14 to cut it in but she didn’t leave Kim a whole lot it’s scary to try to cut that too past the past the eight she can play the the one up in the corner here she could also play this this three ball into the side which would change change the layout of these solids over here and give her an opportunity look like she’s going with the one it’s probably the best bet at this point she made a nice shot she got a back cut on the six ball here but she’d have to play that with some low English or something to stop from making that eight in the side so she’s probably going to choose a different different route something a little safer oh what a what a great try she needed to come off that that rail here and clip the 10 for that five to go in it looks like and she just missed that 10 ball so left it hanging took that pocket um so this might come into one of those safety battles which both these ladies are willing to do that’s one of the strong points that’s kept them in some matches here I know Kim had a couple tough matches where she uh she used her her knowledge of table control to help keep her in the matches and then ultimately win those matches so it’s definitely something that we’re probably going to see quite a bit here when these tables get a little funky like that one right there she wasn’t trying to make that ball she was trying to do about what she did smart not really you know playing safe you don’t have to dead hook somebody behind a ball just leaving them stuff like this where they don’t have much of a shot is uh you know maintaining control and giving yourself a chance to get back up there and and do something do something to be able to put the odds in your favor CH looks like she gave Kim ball in hand so Kim’s going to be able to try to rearrange things here to better her favor here but looks like CH was shooting shooting the right shot she wasn’t trying to really go for anything she was trying to get good hit on her her stripe down here in the corner and make Kim’s five ball so that she could take that pocket back and and leave Kim in a bad spot but she missed the kick um so we’ll see it see what Kim does here she doesn’t really have any good options I mean everything’s a little tough that six can play off the eight in the side you just don’t want to hit it hard obviously you don’t want the eight flying round table she can play the three up into the corner in the top left corner problem is is trying to find out what she can shoot for she not only makes makes her shot but she gives herself a chance to to get out or to play another good safety or something to put her balls in a better spot just chose to play safe right off the gate not a bad idea um makes it difficult for cherish to cherish can play her stripe and combo the five ball all in but she can’t really play as safety Kim’s going to have some options here so she’s she’s going to take control of that pocket again but uh she called the bank she tried to tried to bank that out of there that was an extremely tough shot I don’t probably not something I would have went for she she might have just been trying to play it off the five knowing that the stripe playing off the five with speed would be going towards that pocket um that might have been why she called it but uh she ended up missing the five ball with her Stripes so left Kim some options here still didn’t really leave a good option though looks like she’s going to have to maybe kick at a ball here maybe kick at that two ball see if it plays off the six in the side I like Kim shooting that five uh basically she shooting that five is her declaring that she’s ready to try to get out here and uh she didn’t get the best of leaves here but she’s got a shot at the three if she can play this three um probably with some low English and and come back off and get over here a little bit she can play the two next well leaving herself there I don’t know don’t know if she can play the six into the side so tough off the stream here to see if she can make this six ball in the side if she can it’ be a great shot it’ll send the two up table towards this corner pocket and depending on how she plays it if she was to play it with some like some low English then the Q ball would come off over here she’d have a shot at the seven or her Deuce she hit it with speed problem with hitting it with speed is you’re not really knowing where the QQ Ball’s going to go so she’s hooked herself here she’s going to have to play a kick shot it’s going to be tough to get safe here yeah she makes a good hit there um leaving cherish a shot cherish got the 15 in the side or the 10 up in the corner most likely the 10 in the corner is the best shot here uh but it is long nothing’s a nothing’s a duck you know when you’re shooting all the way up table but uh if she does make this ball she should lay out pretty pretty good and she missed it so Kim’s going to get another chance here not sure if that seven goes in the side probably needs to play it up into the corner if she plays it up in the corner with a little bit of little bit of draw stroke she should leave herself pretty good on the two to be able to play to that eight ball should most likely be playing short side to the eight somewhere over in here that way she could shoot the eight up into this corner pocket wow she strok that ball in really good left herself a tough shot on the two though she over stroked it a bit it looks like she had a tough shot there she ended up missing so now cherish has another shot at the table here see what pattern she chooses personally I’d shoot the tin ball down down here play that first and then use use these other balls down on the other end to be able to get uh shaped to the eight she can play that 10 and come off with the Q ball like this and then she could play the 12 and then play the 15 there and try to get her C ball in this area so she can play the eight pretty easy looks like that might be what she’s doing she just uh know if she shot a little fast or what but she she missed it not [Music] sure what Kim’s going to choose here he’s probably going to have to play a bank it’s not really any safety opportunities from this spot it’s not a shot that cherish would miss normally I don’t know if she’s uh just shooting kind of fast you know excited to coming off of a big win or she’s maybe getting a little bit of nervous nervous stroke knowing that they’re planing to go to the finals either way I’m pretty sure she’ll get settled in Kim does try to back Bank this ball and didn’t leave cherish the best of shots it looks like it tied up that 10 ball so we’ll see if ch can knuckle down and start making some balls here all right it’s that moment in the Stream where I’m going to start asking people who’s out there who’s watching who you rooting for let me know in the chat cherish missed that 15 Ball but didn’t really leave Kim a whole lot she’s uh not sure what she’s going to do here looks like she might be trying to cut the two all the way up table just going to watch the hit looks like cherish just standing back watching that’s one of those if the 10 moves then it’s a bad hit because you’re playing past it so 10 never moved so it was a good hit chch has another opportunity at the table here and see what she comes up with look like she’s going to start with a 15 which is the right shot so we see if she can pocket this ball and get herself some shape to be able to get out here well don’t everybody start typing in the chat at once want everybody start typing in chat at once that’s a Cheesy politically correct answer Crystal Davis I like both of them too A lot of people do but you can still root for one thanks Chelsea and I know cherish should overran shape left herself a tough shot on that 12 and she uh she ended up missing it so she left Kim a shot here but these every time one of them Miss they don’t typically leave the other one the best of chances here Kim hasn’t had a whole a lot of good chances the last couple trips at the table this two balls she can make obviously but it looks like it’s pretty straight so it’s hard to manipulate that to be able to get herself a good shot on the eight um she might just be stuck with um rolling the two ball in or doing like a stop shot and baking the eightball um that might be her best betat instead of trying to force something that’s what she chose to do not sure if she’s going to bank it or try playing it in the side or in the corner see what she chooses looks like she’s set up for a pretty good bank but um she might be more comfortable with cutting this ball sometimes when you come into these 50 yard line type shots there might be a right shot for someone that’s just not for somebody else you know it’s all depending on what you’re comfortable with so it does look like she’s playing this down into the bottom left corner here it’s a tough cut but completely in her wheelhouse and if she’s comfortable with it shot it a little fast hit it pretty fat and left cherish not much maybe a combo uh she might be able to try some kind of safety poolside thanks for the invite Michelle Zurich we got a go Kim we got a somebody going for cherish we’ve got Rodney Barney that’s out driving around watching this on the Stream it’s not the safest of things but I watch TV and movies when I drive as well chish went for it ended up missing um left Kim a very doable eightball here so let’s see if she can make this eight and and start the match off with a with a lead Ola Jeff are you pump are you uh pulls side as well and she does she sinks it takes a one zero lead and gets the Break um it’s alternate break but she uh she lost the the chance to break first to cherish so she’ll be breaking this Kim will be breaking this second rack myself I’m sent in a recliner at home watching the stream on my laptop commentating waiting for the World Series of Poker to start back up at 1: p.m. today so I can watch the final 18 players getting ready to drink an energy drink so I can stay awake since I don’t sleep or the or the crap anymore we’ll see how Kim breaks she usually has a really good break but this table doesn’t break the best and she was struggling on it a little bit yesterday so see if she can get it together today on the break just wanting to make a ball that’s the goal and she dry broke so looks like cherish is going to have the first chance here which is big I mean it’s really big to be able to have the option you get to pick the suit of balls you want um which will favor you for the whole rest of the rack um obviously execution is a different thing but uh when you pick your suit of balls it can it can give you a lot of Leverage in the rack over your opponent um so making a ball in the break is a big deal so Kim dry broke cherish has an opportunity here she’s got a good shot on solid zor Stripes so we’ll see what she chooses I’d have a hard time with this I would probably pick Stripes myself um only one one problem ball there’s some breakout options to it but honestly solids weren’t too bad either um there’s one ball that was tough and there’s breakout balls for that so kind of whatever whatever you’re comfortable with pick your poison type of thing wow she shot that made that ball um and almost broke out her only problem ball she barely missed hitting that one which would have separated her 50 so that was a great try she’s got got more balls she can shoot at she got some options here yeah Lee in case you didn’t see you’re in the uh doors got the hot seat she had a bunch of tough matches yesterday um but played her way through them ended up getting the hot seed and Rich had mentioned earlier when he got to the Dutch this morning he got there pretty early and uh Dora was already there and practicing so she’s she definitely puts a lot of table time in as of late and she’s not slowing down now so she’s there getting ready for the match to see you know see if she’s going to play Kim or cherish it should be a good finals either way and no Jeff I’m not in my pajamas uh shorts and a shirt I don’t know if I necessarily have pajamas but that’s for a different conversation how about you Michelle see you’re sitting in the recliner you and your pajamas as Jeff would say do people really have pajamas nowadays adults I think that’s the question I know kids do but as an adult I mean do adults really have pajamas I don’t know maybe a conversation for another time oh man Kim makes a good shot there to break her one ball out uh but 15 come back over and tied it up again so she has a shot at the four ball here she may just have to try to play very specific position she might try to get out and then if she can get pretty straight on this six ball somehow through her run and she can roll down into this area down in here then that one goes in the side um that probably going to be her only option at this point because there’s not going to be a whole lot of chances to get a breakout on that one now look like she’s shooting the two ball well this table looks a little different had to jump on a work call um just got back and looks like cherishes up shooting at her 11 ball on the side needs to probably play this with a little bit of little bit of low so that when she Clips the one yep just like that it can come over and leave her shot at this 15 [Music] ball CU she stop shot the 15 so she’s looking up table for the eight ball it looks like if she just hits this 14 soft with a little bit of I mean just ball control speed have the Q ball will come off and come out like this and then she can play the eight in this bottom corner pocket if not then she can load up with like a bunch of right-hand English and come off and bring the QQ ball back this way which is what she did man she hit that really good she hit that really good you could see when the Q ball hit the rail it just stopped IM like shortened up her angle immediately and that’s the right-hand English that did that it just kind of killed it and brought it back in this in this path which is a great shot that was a really nice nice little out for cherish to tie it up one one and it’s her break so great job I missed a little bit there but uh those last few balls were struck really really well so good job cherish all right like we said on the last break with Kim’s break the the breakes are important not just a lot of people look at uh the break as you know if you break and run or whatever but it’s not always about breaking and running it’s about uh maintaining control of the table so let’s see with cherish’s break if if she can make a ball and keep that going or if she uh Drive breaks and gives Kim an opportunity to pick the the best suit of balls like they might be on a little bit of a break one of them might be in the restroom or something so we’ll give them a a few minutes see how this goes all right here we go looks like she made a ball so she’s going to be picking and choosing here although sometimes the the table requires you to go a certain route and right now she doesn’t have a really good opening shot on a stripe so she’s going to have to go a solid it looks like that was a good attempt she actually went ra first with that if you didn’t notice trying to get the Q ball out towards the center of the table um but going real first it still came up pretty pretty full on the on the one ball which brought her to where she is now so looks like she’s not got enough of the three to make it she might be able to clip the the right side of it play a safety know she Clips the right side here and the C Ball deflects off comes down like this um but oh she’s jumping I lied I forgot how good she jumps that Floating Bridge oh and that almost it looked like the three was going off that stripe and Q ball got in the way and went instead cherish jumps really good um especially considering she uses that airbridge I don’t know if it’s just because she isn’t comfortable by planting her hand on the ground um maybe she’s just got small hands and doesn’t feel like she’s getting enough um enough angle on the ball and that could be um with a with an air Bridge like that it makes it really difficult to be consistent with it um because it’s hard to control that air bridge and stop it from kind of floating around back and forth um it’s hard to keep it steady enough to hit it extremely accurate but with that said cherish jumps really well I’ve seen her make a lot of great jump shots so she’s uh she’s definitely made it work for her came with ball in hand here makes a nice little shot that nine ball doesn’t look like it really would have went clean so she ended up playing it off clipping her 13 first so it’s a great shot there there’s a cluster here in the center that’s going to probably delay this game a little bit and not allow any either one of these players to to run the table per se made a good shot there going to play her 13 next I’m sure this is one of those I like to go for my breakouts and everything early I would probably play this one here with a little bit of high right a little bit of right-and English so that it comes off at an angle to come down table and run into this stuff here um but not always for the faint of heart for sure she got down here for the 12 really nice left herself pretty straight can’t really do a ton ton with it she’d probably be best if she uh just did like a stop shot and left herself right in here and then she could shoot her 14 up table actually be really good if she Drew back a little bit and left herself in this area and played that 14 up into this corner she could play with a little bit of low English and she would draw right over into this pack of balls and separate them give herself a chance to get out here see what she chooses to do here well she had a little bit of angle there so when she strok that draw a little bit it brought her over just that little bit of angle with a center draw will bring you over like that so she’s playing the 14 up in the corner she going have to hit this with speed because if she doesn’t hit it hard yeah she she missed it she hit it full again going say she had to hit it with speed because if she didn’t hit it hard I’m leaving the QQ ball in this area would have left her really no shots or no chance um but she did Miss left cherish some shots here probably be smart to leave that two ball for a breakout ball don’t have to you know because if you get on bottom side of that six ball on the side here you can use that as a breakout drawn off or even coming off the end Rail and back into these balls but at this point it’s just a matter of trying to trying to get going trying to make a ball that’s makeable and she missed the six left cam long I’m not sure if that 14 goes she may have to play some kind of safety here that’s what she chooses to do looks like she did a great job with it too I mean sherish can see some balls here but I’m not sure she has anything that’s makable I think best case would be banking the five to that pocket but I’m not sure she can even see the correct side of the five ball to be able to do that she might be too full on the five so she may end up playing a safety back we’ll see yep she could see enough of it that’s a great shot now she’s got some options here three balls still in a bad spot here tied up with this 11 I’m not sure if that three ball really goes anywhere into any Pockets but she has uh she has balls here she can shoot and she can try to break that out with she can always come off the four ball and come out this way break it out um she can try uh making the four and getting a breakout shot off the two getting deep in deeper into this rack and more balls that come off the table the the harder it is to play safe as well so when your balls are tied up um makes it tough this might I mean this could even be a spot where she just stops the Q ball right here and just Banks this for down table for safety but I doubt it I think she’s going to go for this well she ran into some stuff and left herself a tough cut on the two but the reward is if she cuts this two in she can break out the three or she could just clip the two leave the Q ball down in here and play a safety so always options oh that’s what she decided to do hit a little hard looks like Kim’s going to have a sh at the 15 in the [Music] side but Kim has the same problem with that 11 ball that cherish had with her three she’s going to have to figure something out the 11 ball actually has a side pocket here so L ball plays over here so if she doesn’t move them then she can try to get there but looks like she has a little bit of a back angle on the 15 that’s going to take the Q ball up table more towards the 11 or kind of towards this way so she may not be able to play Shape to the 11 she may have to try to try to run into it [Music] somehow means a lot though you can tell both these players are trying to fight for these wins they’re taking their time weighing the options they’re not just getting up there and getting down and shooting balls in they’re they’re definitely trying to play the game which is awesome nice shot so Kim chose to play a safety she was looking and she must have been looking to see if the three ball went um and she decided it didn’t must not go in the side here um and if it did go in the corner her stripe just took away the corner pocket so and she doesn’t have a shot at her two balls so that was a really good shot by Kim those are the those are the kind of shots that can win your games for [Music] sure I got a question for some of you that watch the stream often um how does it sound not the commentating necessarily cuz I’m commentating in a quiet room room using my laptop mic but the actual background sound it’s been super staticky um it’s it was really bad last night uh I talked to Rich and we the way the setup is is there’s background music the evil Sports automatically plays through um just so you’re not listening to dead air but the stream also the camera is plugged in with a mic there in the bar which is a it’s a it’s a a mic that’s set up so that you can’t hear a ton of talking unless people get super loud but it’s it’s built to allow you to hear the like the pull balls and the breaks and things like that just so there’s a little bit of that background Ambiance of the the pool World um but it was super staticky um especially um when commentating and stuff so we unplugged the mic from that camera so that all you’ll hear is either a background music which could be a little staticky from the station um or B the commentating but let me know if it’s better today than it has been because we’re trying to make it uh make it better every time thanks Lee see you say say it sounds good right now I don’t know if that’s the the background sounds good or if you just like my voice both make sense um nobody’s judging but uh thanks for the feedback after cherish missed that three in the side Kim uh had a long shot she hit it made it um but I’m not sure what she left here doesn’t look like she can see her 14 down the corner and I don’t know if that 11 ball passes the three to the other corner and it doesn’t go in the side so like she might be in a bad spot here again she might be trying to kick down table at the 14 she could also hit her hit her 11 ball and play her 11 ball like cut it to the rail here and have the Q Ball come off down table this way try to get behind the 14 um but if you can’t long shots um aren’t the easiest to make and can’t really play position so that’s a containing shot you know might not get safe but at least you can hold your opponent down force him into playing a great shot and Kim’s going to jump Kim also jumps well so it’s a cool thing to see in this match is these two quick to grab the jump Q if they need to and this is a this is a long long jump shot but great reward because if she jumps and makes this ball it’s fairly natural depending on speed but it’s fairly natural to uh be able to see the 11 ball as as well so see how she does here made a great shot didn’t uh didn’t make the ball got a good hit left it long for cherish cherish only really has the two ball she can shoot at um which is makeable and cherish is definitely good at shots like this but you know leaving the C ball down on this end of the table decreases her odds quite a bit so we’s see if she come with a good one here oh boy did she she came with a great shot super confident stroke played it really well got some love off the other balls to leave her really good shot at the three ball here um just play a draw shot draw stroke play it back down table over here um but yeah she she made a great shot on that two ball see if she can finish this out here sure she will oh she decided to try to go round table um looks like on her last stroke there she ended up hitting more I don’t know if she dipped her stroke or what but she hit more Center ball than than uh High English she really wanted to hit that ball like up in this this range here on the QQ ball or even even some left English would have worked or could have worked but she wanted to hit it more up on the top left give herself a chance to come around table and get get a good shot on the eight she chose to bank the eight ball though and uh didn’t make it but also didn’t leave Kim a shot um I mean obviously left her a bank shot on the 11 or a safety of some sort but didn’t leave her a good shot she can try cutting the 14 in that’s pretty tough I would like to see Kim play play of safety here I’d like to see her come and hit this a little off center to the left not thin just a little off center to the left so that the Q ball comes to the rail here and the 11 ball comes out just a little bit blocking her on the eight and if she’s not blocked then she doesn’t really have much of a cut shot she’ll be stuck with a bank again and that’s exactly what Kim did it was a great shot chur can kick this in um but she basically just uh she played a great shot gave cherish a low percentage shot if cherish somehow kicks this in then she earns it you know but she gave cherish a tough shot and the nice thing is is if cherish does get a hit but doesn’t make the ball she’s probably going to leave Kim a pretty good shot on one of her balls so this is this is a great safety Kim just played cherish’s eyeing it up see if she can kick this in so like I said she uh she got a good hit didn’t make it but she left Kim a shot here on the 14 ball um she’s pretty straight so that 14 close to the pocket she can manipulate it a little bit um she may just need to play it with a little bit of a cut and draw back for the 11 I think gets too straight to try to play and cheat it and come around like this I don’t think she was really trying to go around the eightball I think she was actually trying to play it to come off and then back over this way it just whitened out a little bit and ran into the eight and slowed it down so now she’s going to have a test dir shot here for sure I’ve noticed Kim’s hit quite a few of these cut shots full into the rail so let’s see if she can correct that a little bit and she makes a great shot wow don’t do it oh no no love she made a great shot there she didn’t deserve to scratch there so it’s going to give cherish ball in hand so we’ll see a two1 score cherish and Kim will be breaking that’s just too bad though hate to see that when somebody makes a great shot and something something funky like that happens cherish isn’t shooting this into the corner pocket that the Eight’s closest to but it’s because she would either have to have something she stretches for or put the Q ball here to where she has a longer shot on the eight um so putting it short side and shooting it to that corner pocket it’s not the pocket that they closest to but it’s the most comfortable shot um she could have and um the ball in hand being able to set it up straight it’s not going to be tough to make so she makes it goes up two one now it’s Kim’s break I’m sure Kim’s frustrated but um she should be able to shake that off she can’t be too frustrated herself there she made a great shot and just uh just ended up scratching there it’s too bad so we’ll see if she can make a ball in this break and get going again I think this match is going to be a close match no matter what I don’t really see either one of them getting a ton of Separation it’s probably going to be a back and forth match like this which are always fun to watch for all right cherish has solid she’s playing this uh combo which is a great shot opened up the eightball as well she’s got a little bit of a tough table now though to try to play specific shape on three ball and six ball are not the easiest now where they’re sitting so she’ll see if she can find a way to get back in line off this one ball she loaded up with a bunch of inside right-hand English there which is why you know when it hit the rail it straightened up and came down this way instead of coming off out this way um which is what she needed to do to be able to try to get in for shape here she didn’t get to the six ball like she’d like but she has a combo shot she can try to play here she’s going to have to play it with speed to make sure and get the C ball out of there she missed it giv the table back up to Kim looks like everything for Kim goes except for this n ball so this is going to be the key ball that she’s going to have to figure out um nine or 13 whichever that is looks like the nine ball but it looks like she’s got some choices here she’s going to shoot the 11 in the side so we’ll see if she can work this out and figure something out for that nine ball well she missed the 12 um but she didn’t do too much harm to herself she left it kind of in front of the pocket and she hooked cherish so looks like cherish will have a a one raow Escape out this way at her at her three ball um or she can even she can even play a little further out and come off and hit the six either one rail at the six or two rails coming in at the six but uh if she hits if she goes for the three and she hits it here the Q ball will come straight down here into the corner so it would probably better if she uh if she did go for the six ball by shooting a little further down like this and coming off and hitting the six or coming off and hitting the second ril and then the six not sure what she’s doing here doesn’t look like she’s going for any kind of kick safe or looks like she’s going to try to go one two three four rails around that’s tough it’s tough to hit that with the correct speed especially the English he’s using will kill it off one of these rails so that was going to be a tough shot no matter what what that did do is when Kim shot her 12 and and missed and it bumped into her 10 it kind of put her 10 into a funny spot but um Kim could start with her with the Q ball in this area and play the nine up table played up into this corner pocket that’ll take care of one of her problem balls and she could even play that with a little bit of a stop shot then play the play the combo of her 10 into that 12 but I like to see her start with the nine ball which is probably what she’s doing that’s her problem ball um this is going to give her the best chance to win some say that it makes it difficult a little more difficult down the road to play safeties because she’s opening up the six ball for cherish as well um but that’s what I like to call scared pool if you uh if you think that you have a chance to get out you want to get out you got to play the right shots you can’t play leaving balls behind just in case because then you’ll never get out so if you choose choose to try to get out then choose the right shot and go with it she went a little far here um she’s going to can’t tell if she can see the 12 or not if she can it’d be nice to use that 12 ball it’s simp you know a little bit of an easier shot to stay at the table and make an easy shot to continue shooting but if not looks like she might be trying to aim up this combo here which would not only um take care of the 15 but it would also open up her 10 ball it looks like too so depends how aggressive she wants to be here I think this is probably the right shot she shoots this ball here just focus on making it you don’t want to hit it super hard shouldn’t have to worry about scratching or anything just send her ball just make the ball then open her up to a lot more options just like that great shot look like she’s looking at the 12 ball she may even just play safe as well I mean the safety is not a bad play she could just bump into her 12 leave it in front of the pocket here and play the Q ball and leave the Q ball sitting here for a safety with her playing that that 10 must go past the three so she’s aiming up so and you know coming at it as long as she’s not hitting it super hard you know if it doesn’t go clean Center pocket if it has to just kind of nudge the rail a little bit and then in you it’s doable as long as you hit it a little soft uh maybe use a little bit of right-and English so that the left hand will help Pull It in yeah you have to hit it a little softer than that anytime you hit it with a little bit of speed and touch the rail it’s not going to go on a diamond but she took that pocket and uh I don’t think cherish can see the three to cut it in over here so smart shot by Cherish might be just to thin the edge of the six and make her stripe you’d have to thin it you don’t want to move your six ball over here because then she’d have a shot at the at the nine ball so cherish decid to try to combo that ball in it didn’t work um ball sat up cherish’s ball will go there really easy so that ball is not blocking the pocket with how deep it is the six ball will go right in with it um and the eight Ball’s kind of in a funny spot now so Kim will have to figure this out so she can play pretty specific shape myself I would probably make the n here um Leave Myself little bit of a CU ball down down here a little bit of a back angle on the 15 I’d cut the 15 in and try to come over here because then you can play the stripe here and come off short side for the eight ball because the eight ball does go down here I don’t like to move balls around unless absolutely necessary and that seems like a route I would go um but it’s pretty specific shaped route so you could you could also play the 15 with a little bit of right English and come over and hit this three to separate the eight ball and then that leaves you the nine is your backup ball um and then that ball down in the corner so kind of a few options here see what you’re you know what you’re into she’s choosing the nine in the side and left herself a shot on this 10 ball in the corner so she can play this one come out for the 15 I like how she’s she took a lot of time trying to work out the route she wanted to go and now she has it in her head now it’s just a matter of making sure her lines are good and then taking her time to get down and execute that’s how it should be wow wow what a great shot she decided to open up the eight ball there she left herself Tree Top but she can literally just roll the 15 in then shoot the eight in the side a great shot by Kim it was an aggressive breakout shot there um but where she was it looked like she had a plan and a great plan it was CU she gave herself a a really good chance to get out here just needs to roll this ball in stood up for a sec but still went in so now she’s got the side pocket over the corner um on a regular Valley table Corners the shot um Corners are bigger coming at from this angle here um coming down the corner pocket’s going to be a bigger bigger area to play for but on these diamonds these side pockets are pretty big so even from that angle it’s still playing into a big pocket and she took no time in two stroking that and just putting it right in the hole so great job Kim 2 two thanks Patrick appreciate it I actually uh I’m sitting at home so it’s quiet for one um for two I dumped the headsets that rich had us trying to use um and I am just talking off the mic of my laptop right now so it’s good clear audio there’s no breaking up or anything like that so it’s definitely something with the headsets um or might even be something with because the headset um talks wirelessly through the yoube the the USB so it could be something with that it could even be something with the USB on on my uh my laptop too so not sure but going this route it’s definitely a lot cleaner I appreciate all the help you were trying to trying to work with us yesterday all right 22 looks like they’re going to take a two-minute break possibly um cherish’s break probably a restroom break maybe grab some water or something 2 two these these ladies are fighting to go to the finals um figured it’d be a back and forth match they both uh they both fight hard for wins so I don’t I don’t think it’s going to change much I feel like the whole rest of this match is going to be in the same same fashion yeah Patrick the USB headsets aren’t the best riches is working great um the only problem he has is he’s typically there um in in the bar setting where when there’s music playing and everything um so that uh kind of hurts some of his his commentary audio um these headsets that he got also have a uh a microphone cable that you can plug into the microphone input on your on your laptop but it’s just the for listening to audio not for actually talking so that doesn’t really help a ton you have to pretty much do this through the Bluetooth or through the wireless on the USB and it’s it’s just not the best so going through my laptop right now sounds pretty good love your guys’s uh Evo Sports platform here for all of you out there we have Patrick Nicks in the comment or in the in the live chat um he’s with EVO Sports he’s the one that came over and helped set everything up and get us going and they are awesome um anytime we’ve had issues him and Justin are Johnny on the spot man they’re they’re helping us remotely they’re um doing everything they can to make sure our stuff’s working great um which is impressive considering how many uh how many spots you guys are starting to get now Patrick you guys are getting Evo everywhere it’s great everybody loves it people here in the valley love it um I’m sure you’ve seen we’re starting to do we have our old BFS style matches um that we used to do 12 13 years ago um that we’ve picked up and started doing again um a lot of that’s because of your Evo Sports stream here and people are loving it it’s starting to build a little bit more excitement in in our Valley again so thank you for that appreciate it all right here we go cherish is breaking let’s see if she can make a ball on the break she did make a ball made a couple played uh she actually missed her spot there she ended up doing a little bit of a cut Break um which probably worked better than her last couple breaks where she typically plays at the the second ball um from the side there and she tries to play it full but that time she um did a little bit of a cut break just missed her spot Q ball came around but end up making a few balls and giving her control of the table so she’s shooting at a stripe here let’s see how she does good confident stroke I like to see that Patrick this is a Yakama here not Tre cities Tre cities is going to be at Players Sports Bar we’re here at the Dutch in yaka lots of talent um lots of players making their you know putting in a lot of work trying to make their way up they’ll be if you want to watch some streams Patrick next weekend I don’t know what you have going on but uh you know most of the streams and stuff we’ve had have been like our BFS matches which are some of the um Mid to lower rated players um fighting it out you know putting some money on the line and playing Under Pressure but next weekend this is uh this weekend here right now you’re watching the Queen of the Valley um so it’s basically trying to get the top women in the area to to play and play for that title um there’s money on the line plus the winner um also gets a a special trophy for being uh the Queen of the Valley um but next weekend is basically the same format of tournament um but it’s king of the valley so same deal money involved side pot um there’s that tournament got playing out to 2 it’s a got 24 player max which it’s already full um full to a point that we had an extra player sign up so rich forfeited out of the tournament took his name off the list so that he can focus on running the tournament and I’m running the streams and commentating um but you’ll start next weekend you’ll see some of the some of the male Talent from this area some good players up here um I mean ranging all Fargo ranges all the way up up to towards the 650 range so they’ll be playing for king of the valley same deal gonna play for money and bragging rights and trophy saying you’re the king of the valley so it should be a good tournament as well so Kim’s trying to work herself out here she’s solids she got a shot at the five in the side she’s got to try to figure out shape for the four I mean really looks like she’s got a tough out either way because she plays the five um she can play it with a draw stroke and come over here for the four in the same pocket um but she’s choosing to shoot the four instead so we’ll see what she gets off of this four ball hit a little fat G Sher another opportunity at the table [Music] uh rich is rich is actually at a family get together his son came and picked him up and they’re all going to I not sure I think his daughter’s house for a barbecue little family get together he’ll be back a little bit later um Crystal Davis who helps him run tournaments on site um she’s still there she has his laptop has it up and running um she’s helping run the stream I’m not on site I’m at home but uh she’s helping keep the tournament running and everything and she’s got his laptop up and running she’s just uh she’s too scared to talk Patrick she could jump on right now if she wanted to but she’s too shy she won’t jump on and commentate and yes Tammy it is 10 ball next weekend for for the for the king of the valley cherishing her banking man she Banks from everywhere she made a great shot there not sure what she’s going to do with the nine ball she looks like she’s looking at uh banking it again I know it’s you Rodney but the name says Tammy so I’m going with it I’m looking forward to that King of the valley I I may have to back out of it next weekend um not sure yet I might have to go back to Spokane for the weekend for some family stuff but if not I’m on the list so I’ll know I’ll hopefully know sooner than later um to make sure it can fill Rich can always take my spot if there’s nobody else to take it but uh I want to play it I uh love tournaments I want to be able to put some time in and and be able to to play in that tournament and put my hat in the ring so to so to speak yeah Patrick that’d be cool if you want to jump in and help out wouldn’t mind having a little bit of the the western side of the state jumping on help commentate before your next stream Kim didn’t have much of aot sh there one thing that did happen is she left cherish’s shot on her ball here in the corner with a breakout angle for her 11 so see how she does there hey Josh how are you doing good buddy how you doing I’m doing well doing well I was uh you know sitting here watching this and so I thought well if you need a co- commentator I can help out for a little while I’m kind of bouncing between streams today uh helping out with some commentary we got a 560 and under tournament at The Penalty Box in Tacoma and then we got a money match tonight at 7 between Mike dman uh and uh yeah it’s gonna be it’s gonna be good uh good action tonight so I thought I’d see if you needed a little bit of co- commentary since rich is uh unavailable for a little while yeah for sure much appreciated it’s awesome you jump around helping people out on these streams for commentating you’re a great commentator so it’s always always fun to have you on and listening so thank you yeah no problem very unfortunate scratch from is that that was cherished that that scratch that scratched right there that was very unfortunate uh she drilled that shot really nicely and it’s kind of surprising that the Q ball didn’t Nick that six ball on the way to the pocket but um that’s the way it goes sometimes so this is a pretty close match race to five and well this is a third place match so this is the bside finals I would say right next is going to be the finals yep yep and Dora Valdez she’s sitting in our hot seat right now um she her and Kim played um the hot seat match it was a good match um but Dora edged her out so Kim’s trying to fight to get back there uh and I believe I’d have to take a look but I believe Kim is who put cherish in the bside earlier on in the tournament so she’s looking to try to get that back right now I like the route she’s going right here um it’s always tough to play Shape to the balls in the for those side pockets just because uh if you’re not straight in you know you’re going to be making the Q ball travel around quite a bit but she can play that um she has an option here she can myself I would probably just roll the four and leave myself a back cut on the six and then play the six and come two rails off like this towards the eight y so many times though with that shot I end up doing this yeah that you know so she she’s she’s not taking the six as her key ball she likes the the four not a bad choice this one you just roll forward there’s no risk of a scratch here or you could put a stop on it actually yeah if she’s dead straight just a nice stop shot here gets her perfect on the eight yep for sure so you have uh D the Explorer waiting in the hot seat then uh waiting for the the finals match between waiting to find out who she’s going to be playing against yep and now is this a once a year tournament this queen of the hill and King of the Hill or sorry the valley uh King of the valley Queen of the Valley is this once a year so this is the first one of for each um and that’s what rich is looking at doing Rich got these going and he’s wanting to start doing these annually okay very cool well I I love seeing what you guys are doing with the pool Community out there in yakma sorry I said try cities that was my mistake the Val the yakma valley um you guys have such a fantastic pool community and it’s so great to be able to watch The Talented players from that area um so glad you guys got Evo Sports so that we can all see what’s going on out there in [Music] Yakama yeah no it’s it’s been a a really good thing for pool here and we’ve even had some like our local League during playoffs um we had matches streaming we had the the finals of our local three-man summer league for eightball um streamed on here so it’s been pretty cool we’re trying to use it as much as possible um definitely getting as as much out of as we can looks like Kim’s breaking here um so she just took the lead she’s breaking this is her first lead um since the first game so she’s uh she’s gonna try to she’s I was mentioning earlier on the stream she’s she has a really good eightball break typically but this table doesn’t break the best um there was guys that were using uh um earlier on in the week they’re doing one of our little battles on here um and they were using a Magic Rack and still weren’t breaking the best um and Kim has struggled a little bit she broke better on the other tables throughout the tournament but this table here she struggled to make a ball um isn’t that interesting how just a different table can be you know break completely different and yeah you know the break can be funny so a dry break here and this is a super critical rack in the short race to five format it’s you know when it the score is 3-2 like this I tell you what right now sherff has you know if they’re equally matched you know skill levelwise I would say you know a 35 to 40% chance of winning the set right because you know she’s got to go to three and Kim’s got to go to two but if Kim gets on the hill here 42 that that the odds for for Sherice typically you know they they dramatically drop you know down to like the 10% range it’s just so hard you know to have to come back and win three straights so this is critical for uh sheris that that she uh does everything she can to get this rack yeah and she you know this match has been neck and neck I mean literally game for Game this whole time um and it’s it wouldn’t surprise me if cherish gets this and it just kind of keeps with that same oh nice Bang format yeah that was yeah that was the challenge there is they knew you’re going to come into that 12 and now the 12’s locked up in trouble in big trouble really so I tell you right now I’m not interested in pocketing a whole lot of balls right now if I’m cherished I I really want to turn the table over and and have my opponent you know open stuff up for me you know I’m not I’m probably wanting to play this 14 just try to leave leave the 14 somewhere right around in here so that I have the opportunity to break something out I I don’t want to drop it here because you start running out of ammunition so she didn’t intend to leave it hanging but um it’s still going to be tough to get a breakout from it being that deep in the pocket I think ideally you just want to be right here with it I know that being very specific but that allows you the very easy breakout for the 12 yeah and you know the problem you come into is either which way you’re going to be able to break the balls out but like from here with it deep in the pocket here you can still clip this and come over to break this out or come off the enil to break it out but the problem with that is is what options are you going to have after the fact I mean youve got to have you’re gonna have to play it with speed you’re going to have to make sure your cuq ball can get out um because the last thing you want to do is open that up and not not be able to get out yeah open it up and not be able to get out exactly and that’s what I mean by ammunition right you got to leave your ammunition on the field so that you can have options when you need to get those breakout shots you have three or four targets afterwards to still be able to have a look at uh so but Switching gears now to Kim if I’m solids here you know obviously this you know this 75 but I think first off I’m dealing with this right I I want to deal with that problem first uh because this one is a problem for for really everybody right o yeah you might have a combo actually she might have a combo here by the way what do you think of this shot here the six two bring the six into the two two goes this way six goes this way I mean it’s risky right you you could potentially open up the table for the whole you could sell out the whole rack here but you could also you know it might work out I don’t know you take a risk like that Josh you know right here um the only the only reason I would take that risk is because the the table is 100% in my opponent’s favor at this point uh but she has some options uh not I’m not 100% sure she was even trying to make that honestly Kim’s one of those players where she’ll play Shots like she just did just trying to maintain control of the table um she won’t she’s not the type to usually run everything out she’ll try to you know sometimes she’ll get deep in a rack because she’s trying to position herself for certain breakouts um and just comes up short or something and then she’s deep into Ira having to play a safety when when she doesn’t want to but uh but for the most part I think she played that for a table control thing cherish tried to break out yeah she hit it with speed too she just like you’re saying coming from the angle she was coming at she was going to hit that stripe so thin because of how deep it was it was going to be hard to get it over towards that that breakout she’s going to try to get that cuq ball right here she hit it a little soft oh that that might work out yeah so she just wants to not sell out anything good shot you know she didn’t really improve a position at all but at the end of the day she’s not giving up the rack and that’s the important thing here so I think we’re going to start to see him tighten it tighten it down a little bit with strategy because uh both of them are you know 90% of their balls are tied up right so yeah seeing me here I uh I probably wouldn’t even shoot at that four ball I would kick off this enil and hit the five because it’s going to open the five out to here and the Q Ball’s going to automatically come off over here um I see yeah and it’s opening up opening up my five ball giving me my two ball for a breakout on the six G my five ball for a breakout on the seven and maintaining control of the table but she chose to go for the four ball um she missed it it’s probably a good Miss yeah I was going to say fortunate that she missed it because that just keeps another soldier on the on the field on the battlefield yep so that’s what I was I was explaining that whole philosophy on our one of our matches yesterday about um This Is War you know and all the balls out there are soldiers right yeah we do say that a lot in in eightball strategy right because it it really is it’s like uh Pawns in chess right you know you you got to have them out there to move them forward and move them around get positioned and that’s what I love about barbox eightball is you don’t have to be the best shot in the world to win matches in barbox eightball uh but you do have to have a good strategy yeah and you know obviously having a good stroke and a good shot and good accuracy at that helps of course uh when things are open and you need to close out the racks but the it’s the Strategic patient uh you know just that that strategy game that really can win you a lot of racks yep agreed and Kim here she’s so Kim’s played for a long time she she puts a lot of time in with her with her game and um she also played for years with Rich in all the scotch doubles type tournaments and the league there’s actually a Scot doubles League here in Yakama um and that’s one of the things that Friday night she had a match and she was she was playing a player that was playing was shooting really strong her name is Stella speedis and she was I mean she was just making stuff from everywhere and Kim came out and was struggling execution wise she wasn’t making shots she would normally make um and Kim is the type that she recognized that right away and she immediately started playing more ball control table control playing more safeties earlier on um maintaining control of rxs until she got what she needed in the rack to try to get out um and it kept her in the match until she started executing where she can and then once she started executing she started getting a little bit more aggressive as the as the match went on and ended up coming back and winning the match because of it um and there’s a lot of players that don’t do that there’s a lot of players that just stay aggressive and they just try to try to shoot their way out of everything you know and it’s it’s a lot easier said than done cherish tried to play that 12 off the eight it looks like and yeah I I saw that and I was thinking about that shot too that she was just taking she was thinking about playing it off the eight but I just like kind of bumping it off the rail and just letting it sit right here right that would have been that would have been my goal with that because this stuff is still tied up you know solids isn’t getting out just get yourself put your put your Pawn in a better spot but she did found that magical angle from a from a steep angle too yeah it would have been surprising to scratch from that angle so here we go if Kim wants to get aggressive here she’s got the draw shot to pump out the six the problem here is you may not get left with another shot right so you can play this too withraw and come right back into the six I don’t mind it but I don’t like this one first cuz that one is probably going to be the most likely for you to get set up on if you tried that shot later which she’s got another chance at the two the same shot a little closer now but like you said she’s she’s she has no plan b ball she doesn’t have a backup ball CU she just shot her backup ball so now she has to play this and come out with a good shot from the breakout right which breakout is pretty easy to get it’s the shape on the next ball that’s the hard part yep so yeah here we go but this is this is the opportunity this is going to decide potentially decide the rack okay she came out okay she came out okay came out okay real nice actually she’s got to be happy with that yeah she got a little bit of love there I I don’t think that’s I mean obviously that’s probably not what she was planning um but it clipped off clipped off that stripe and open the six and came over here and gave her a shot at the seven yeah and she’s already looking at where she wants to be on the six this is a very smart thing to do real Savvy player here to come around the table and you know identify your target right where do you want to be on that six and how are you going to play the six to get on the eight and she that’s what she’s figuring out right now because she’s got pretty straight position on the seven to the corner and it’s just a matter of how far forward you want to roll that Q ball Yep looks like she has a little bit of angle like the Q ball is going to be going towards the side rail over here so she’s got to be wary of that but uh yeah she’s taking her time she’s looking at her looking at her position where she wants to get to which is good yeah smart play yeah I like the diligent I like the diligent effort and that’s a pretty good leave she has to watch the nine you definitely don’t want to clip off the nine when you’re trying to come out for this six for for the eight right because you could you know you’re trying to bring the Q ball off this rail and out in this path if you clip the nine you’re going to get in trouble yeah I I think she’ll be okay because I think she’s hitting the six thin enough the way she has to cut it into that corner she’s hitting it thin enough that she’s not going to hit the nine I think if she runs into the nine she’ll miss the six because she’ll be hitting the six2 full that’s good point yeah she left it she left it in a good spot yeah I think she’ll be okay she just has to make the six ball oh just barely drops yeah and man this is a really good out from Kim to go on the hill with this eight ball yep was able to take the first real open opportunity and take full advantage of it there it goes good shot yeah great out from Kim right there yep puts Kim on the hill 42 and cherish’s break um so see if she can see if she can get something going here she needs to make a ball in this break so that she can uh she can be the one choosing where you know which suit of balls and she can be the one taking control right away she doesn’t want to she doesn’t want to dry break here and then turn the table over to Kim and give her an opportunity to take control Kim’s fighting hard trying to get back to that that finals match she wants to be able to play Dora again I’m sure to after that loss last night in the hot seat match she’s she’s wanting a chance to get that back for sure and Dora you know Kim and cherish have played around here for a long time um Dora moved to the area a few years back um but they didn’t start playing pool until about a year ago around here um she’s got tons of experience she’s played a lot of pool over the years um and she’s a strong player she plays strong she’s uh she’s a smart player she knows how to play safety she knows when to play safeties um and she’s she’s a tough player tons of experience but so does Kim you know I mean Dora she’s traveled to some of the uh um she’s to went to some of those Northwest women’s tour events and she’s done well in a few of them I think the last time I seen her up and spoke I think she took third in that one that’s the one that Sophia Mass showed up to and ended up winning um so Dora’s Dora’s playing really good um but Kim she’s playing Super good too wow jumped that one off the table yeah it’s got a little bit of elevation on that side break you know it’s uh if you’re breaking from the side you want to make sure you’re getting real flat on that CBE ball because any elevation can definitely kind of Pop the Q ball off but actually now watching the replay she didn’t really elevate not sure what happened there exactly but yeah sometimes the Q ball is hopping a little bit when it gets to the rack and if it’s on its way up from that even just a 2 millimeter hop if it’s on its way up when it hits that headball there a chance to go Airborne yep yeah and you know it’s it’s too bad too because this is one of the best breaks I’ve seen in this match as far as how the table laid out just yeah talk about a separation you’ve got all all of the stripes here and all the solids over here right I mean it’s just completely separated um there it’s like uh what do you choose in here I’m ball in hand Stripes maybe I I guess just because the two ball the two ball looks a little tough for solids uh yeah I like Stripes I like Stripes uh I can’t tell if that nine passes the 11 or not but even if I don’t think it does I don’t think it does you have to play the the 11 first which is going to be her next ball here and then yeah I think just a stop shot on the 11 gets you on I think ideally the 13 because the 10 ball doesn’t really get you anywhere right it’s hard to get shape off the 10 ball to get anywhere else so I think you want to put a stop shot on this and get that 13 next what do you think uh I I don’t see if if you’re if you end up playing the 10 ball after this 11 I don’t see you uhoh the 11 yeah yeah I would have played a little different to start I I honestly would have rolled this ball in the side and left myself a little bit of backing on the 11 to play Q ball out to this area and then shot the nine up here and then 13 and then 10 like this but okay yeah little different route um there was a ton of yeah I would say with eightball patterns especially with a open table and a ball in hand there’s about a thousand right ways uh to do it you know it’s and there’s about a thousand wrong ways to do it yeah I always say the only wrong way is the one that doesn’t work yeah so she’s taking care of these balls here um she’s probably going to shoot the five next oh maybe she’ll shoot the one these balls here I don’t the one doesn’t pass to the corner um or the two ball sorry doesn’t pass to the corner um so she’s she’s got to I think it’d be good if she slowed down a little bit and just really picked a pattern um to make sure she doesn’t run some balls off here and then get so far out of line she can’t actually finish the finish the out you know but one thing I’ve noticed with cherish is when she starts to get behind in a match um she gets very aggressive and especially with an open table she doesn’t she doesn’t take a lot of time I don’t know if that’s her way of just kind of staying out of um getting in her own head or the nerves and she just kind of picks a route and just starts running and she’s she’s typically uh it’s benefited her she she starts playing like this and she starts just making balls from everywhere so I think it’s her way of trying to keep the nerves at Bay not really giving herself time to think too much about it um but it can also you know it can also lead to one of those little misses that are uncharacteristic so she got good on the two here it’s not an easy shot but if she makes this shot she she can get out now is that two playing in the side yeah okay and you sure yeah okay it does look a little tight but you’re right if she Pockets this too she’s going to have you know if she slow rolls it in there have a good shot here yeah oh just a hair off the mark yep so Kim with another opportunity to close out the set yeah at this point in the match Kim going to be a little bit more methodical she’s going to you know take a look around the table see where she wants to play Shape to um first game and the last game are always the two hardest to get and she knows that so she’s she’s gonna try to take her time and do her due diligence and and play position the way she needs to one thing Kim is really good at as well is uh re-evaluating sometimes times when somebody has a plan and they get a little out of line they keep trying to force it you know and she’s really good about she gets out of line she’ll stop and reevaluate and she may end up change changing everything just based off where she she played position to well and I I was impressed with the way that she approached that last rack right where there was problems and you know when she kind of got out of the problems she still took her time you know so many times as players we we solve the the difficult problem and then we have the opportunity to get out now we’ve done all the hard work we speed up right and she did the opposite she actually settled in and said okay I’ve got through the hard part now how am I going to get to the finish line and she was very specific about position on the cball so I was impressed with that and a miss there but I don’t think she’s really left anything for sheris here maybe a back cut on this too uh but that’s going to be real thin yeah she’ll have to hit it thin too to make sure she doesn’t travel down and scratch but if she if she can see the edge of it to cut it in it’ll provide position to to her other balls as well so tough shot see if she can slide this into the side and keep position on one of those other two balls yeah I I think if you cut it thin enough to to make it I don’t think you scratch I think the Q ball hits right around here oh she oh she ended up going backwards with it I didn’t even know you could do that no looks like she put a bunch of left-hand English on that ball because she hit it fairly full um and now the only optioned back only option is here and that’s going to let your QQ ball go your CU ball is going to go right on this way so you have to come around or figure something out yeah so good try tough when you know you’re losing the CQ ball it makes it it seems to makes the shot harder because you’re thinking about you know there’s that uncertainty of where you’re going to end up you know so it just makes the shot a little bit harder Yep looks like she left Kim a pretty standard out here it’s just a matter of composing yourself and and uh making sure I’m pocketing her balls but looks like she’s pretty good on this 10 ball here for the corner she should be able to just make this ball have the Q Ball come down just a little bit play the nine down in this corner pocket and then she should be able to play the 13 up table here and and hold shape for the eight obviously it’s going to depend on the angle she gets on that nine ball make sure she can get to the 13 ball good but she has a pretty pretty clear-cut pattern to play at this point so it’s just a matter of taking her time and executing it so one thing I’ve noticed a bunch of bunch of players doing over this weekend is that I think could be worked on a little bit is the uh that not bad left herself a little bit of an angle on the nine ball but they uh you know I see them get aiming at their shot and then they they walk sideways into their to get down into their shot instead of standing back you know moving over standing back behind the line and then stepping into the shot I’ve seen that quite a bit and I she made that ball there but I’ve seen that quite a bit where they’ve stepped sideways into their shots you know because they’re looking at their their point of contact first and then sideways down in and then they end up missing those shots because they’re not stepping into the line of the shot yeah that’s a good point and these are you know pre-shot routines that you develop as a player uh as you get more and more experience into your belt you you you sort of develop that disciplined pre-shot routine and there’s certain moves like you said with your feet uh that help you get you know stepping into the shot and help you finding that line and definitely can help improve your accuracy so Kim missed the missed the ball she should you know wouldn’t normally Miss I should say but uh gave cherish another chance here to try to get another rack probably needs to play this with some inside English some right English try to come over between the 138 if she can she hit that really good I don’t know if the 13 cleared or not to see that seven she called it though yeah I don’t think she can see any piece of the seven here it doesn’t look like it’s either you know a I kind of like a little mini jump shot but I don’t know if that’s in their wheelhouse here but I kind of I I kind of prefer cuz you’re yeah you’re just jumping over the edge of the ball but it is a quick up and down so it’s actually a very SL a very light she’s using an airbridge do you see this her Bridge hand not on the table so that’s uh that’s thing we’ve talked about she didn’t jump there very well um so Kim’s gonna have ball in hand with a chance to get out here but yeah that’s something um I brought up in the Stream just a little bit ago before he jumped on is cherish actually jumps very well I mean that’s not a good representation of how she jumps um she jumps very well and she always uses an airbridge and I’m not sure why cuz you know it’s not as accurate um but I’ve seen her make some crazy good jump shots and I’ve typically typically she clears the balls and typically always gets a good hit um but I’ve seen her make a lot of jump shots from a lot of different places with that airbridge which is kind of a friend of mine does the same thing and I asked him why and he said because it’s so much easier for him to get elevation he’s he says I got small hands and so I can’t get my bridge elevation high enough to get over those balls and so he has more success using the airbridge like that but for me I can’t hold my hand steady enough to guarantee that I’m hitting the qball at the right spot it it’s moving around a little bit and he seems to you know if you’ve got a real Steady Hand that could work uh it’s it’s not uh you know the idea is not not what a coach would teach you right but um it does work for some people well and that’s that’s what I was saying earlier I think that I think she has smaller hands so I think she feels more comfortable air bridging being able to get that angle to be able to get the the jump angle proper um compared to bridging off the table I think she struggles getting that high enough when she’s bridging off the table um yeah but yeah I mean like I said she’s she jumps fairly well considering um it’s just what she’s comfortable with but looks like Kim’s going to going to have a chance to get out here she’s probably going to keep it simple and just do like a stop shot or Draw back a little and then shoot the aid in that opposite side over there I don’t see her trying to do a whole lot of travel with the Q um I think you’re right yeah that’s what she was looking at and that that’s I think that’s the right thing to do here uh especially when the nerves are on and everything you don’t want to you have a guaranteed shot on the eight in the side all you have to do is just stop the QQ ball so you don’t really want to take a risk try to uh get better on the eight you know but she did she she took that you know little extra trying to get an easier shot on the eight um but the eight in the side from there was fine I think she would have been all right uh but might have overthought that because I think that was her first intention was just to put a stop on it and play the eight in the size what she looked at and then she kind of looked like she changed her mind yep yep so g sherish a chance here to draw back and play that eightball huge opportunity and cheris says I can I’ll play the eight in the side no problem so here we go not an easy one and it will sell out if you miss right so there’s no there no coming back from this if you miss it yeah about the scratch too so I think don’t called the bank didn’t she oh did she oh and it drills right down the hole man that was a great Bank Shot pressure Bank too because that was the match if she misses it uh that would have cost her the match uh so yep big time shot from cherish right there that’s her second or third one of those big banks that she’s come up with in the last stream this one and the last one she she’s she got down and just fired it too she didn’t spend a ton of time she just made up her mind and shot it yeah and when you’re in Kim’s position being on the hill like she was and having that you know pretty straightforward out it it really feels bad it’s hard to come you know it’s hard to get your head back in the game after that knowing that you should have won the set you should be playing the finals right now and here you are still battling U so you have to just wipe that away out of your memory banks and you know go back to your fundamentals and play good yep and she’s got the break here so got to see if like we’re talking on the brakes how important they are we got to see if she could get a good hit here and you know the one thing I’ve noticed she struggled with the brakes but she also I don’t think she’s really changed her break either she’s breaking the same and she’s breaking head ball and she hasn’t done a whole lot different with the break but she made made a ball this time yep pocketed that ball that the ball behind the headball goes those balls go to the side pockets on that Center break if you hit it right and uh she here but uh looks like she’s got some opportunity to to do some damage here yeah take time you know leaving clusters is all right an eightball as long as you’re making a ball in the break because then you get to have usually that first choice of stripes or solids and that’s the huge part because there is a suit that is definitely better than than the other when you have clusters right and you want to have that first choice that adds a big advantage to the game I I know some people play take what you make like I think an APA or you know certain format take what you make I’m not a big fan of that because you shouldn’t be penalized for a good break you know sometimes you get punished in where you know you make a solid on the break but all the solids are tied up and the stripes are really easy runouts and you can’t choose Stripes I feel like that’s not fair yep agreed and I’ve played my fair fair share of APA when when I was playing up in Spokane you have to play in a a weekly League to be able to qualify for the m M division um they don’t let you just play Masters so it it took some getting used to with some of those rules no jumping you know take what you make type of thing but uh oh so you cannot play Just Masters you have to play like a um like the standard League yeah to enter to be able to enter the Masters events yeah and I don’t I honestly don’t know I’ve never really played APA anywhere other than in Spokan so I don’t know if if that’s how it is everywhere um but in Spokane in the Spokane APA League you have to play to be able to qualify to play in a masters division throughout the year you have to play in a Weekly Standard League um and then you know you play Masters throughout the year and then for APA there’s 256 Masters teams that make it to Vegas and every League gets a certain amount of spots so like Spokan the size of the league you know leagues across the country they each get one spot to the to their um for the Masters championships in Vegas but the bigger leagues because of their size get more spots so like Spokane gets two spots um so typically what happens is is you got to play in a weekly League U or on a weekly team to be able to qualify to play Masters and then you have to play all session all season long in the master division which is typically just one Saturday a month and they’ll do like double and triple headers and then the top four teams go to the the city Cup finals for Spokan and then they play it out and the winning team gets a full- paid trip um everything paid for um going you know so like a four-person team in Masters would get like maybe six or seven Grand or something like that to be able to travel hotels expenses and everything and then the second place team gets the open the second spot but it’s a non-paid spot usually um that’s how they do it in Spokan now I’ve also heard that there’s other leagues that allow you to play Masters you don’t have to you know you don’t have to play throughout the year um there’s also some some areas where I’ve heard that they’re so small that um they play their masters and then they automatically just you know whatever first place team through the season automatically goes to Vegas they don’t have like a big deal for it so it’s kind of different everywhere I think every every league has their own little set of um bylaws that they get to run how they see fit so Kim’s got solids here she’s trying to work out she left herself the five in the side it looks like everything on this cluster in though is not looking good um she looks like she’s going to need to be able to get shaped to the one ball to be able to do much aggressively with this rack um she can she can just roll this in and maybe has a choice of playing off the six or the seven and playing some kind of safety to be able to open up one or two of her balls um and maintain control of the table not sure what she’ll choose here it’s hard to tell if she got there for the one looks like she might have it and if she wants to maintain aggression here she can cut this one in with some speed and maybe just a little bit of high left or something to straighten it up and come into this rack oh beautiful shot just like you yeah just like you called it right there great shot and got a little unfortunate that the seven didn’t get bumped out a little bit more and it’s still in trouble so I’m not sure now I’m wondering if the six passes the nine here I don’t know I don’t think it does it doesn’t look like it if it does it’s definitely tight yeah usually if you draw from the center of the ball to even the edge of the pocket yeah I don’t think it’s got clearance there to go past the nine so she’s going to have to figure something out um or let cheris figure something out cu it’s a problem for both right yeah definitely this this rack favors Stripes I personally like right now to play this ball here and try to hold up the Q ball somewhere in this area so that you have a shot on the 10 and the side that could potentially get your cuq ball to break out this little cluster here yeah that’s what I if I’m going aggressive that’s what I’m thinking uh depending on how I’m feeling on the day but I don’t know if you can really hold from this position for that this might be the breakout right here actually okay that’s not bad either leave it leaving it in the pocket is not bad yeah yeah it looks like she might have if it would have went she might have had a shot at this this stripe here into the side oh okay could have played that with a little bit of draw which would have separated her seven seven and 11 right here yeah hard to tell but left Kim a shot on the sixth ball up to this bottom left corner see if she wants to maintain aggression and go for that I think if she does she needs to try to break her seven ball out yeah and that’s not going to happen with this you’d have to put a heck of a lot of force into this to stun off that Rail and break out the seven exactly um and you know you try to force it like that and it’s it’s easy to miss what happens to me is I miss the shot and I break out the cluster yeah like the worst case scenario so yeah this is a real tough spot I don’t know what else to do though I I might actually go for this if you’ve got enough angle I might try to really stun hit it with a lot of power well it looks like she’s gonna try to back cut the seven maybe so she has uh one of our so Nick Lopez is over there watching the hit he’s one of our top shooters up in yaka so since rich and I aren’t there he’s y good hit a good hit good hit but opens up the table y helping him out there she’s got I mean I think she she needs to shoot this stripe she’s got right here in the center of the table first yeah and Kim recognizing that there was really no upside pocketing the six there um you know just had to take had to take a really tough cut the reward was huge if she makes that but you know the the the penalty is is kind of severe missing it because you know you’re breaking that cluster out guaranteed and I believe the six ball’s still a problem right for for solids so you know but right now cherish looking really good with stripes got couple of options to go for here h i do I do like the nine first because the nine is is kind of probably your more oh that was a beautiful shot right there he had to get the oh that’s the nine ball there I was thinking of this this ball up here I don’t know what that is the 13 I guess but yeah that was a great shot to get that nine yeah taken care of and now I think the 13 ball is really the one you have to be worried about because it does not play to the easier pocket okay she Pockets both balls there and now she’s going to have the tough shot on the 13 and this is a scratch line too right it looks like a scratch line where if the ball goes here Q ball comes off and travels this way yeah should probably play that with some some low English try to avoid the scratch decreases her chances of making the ball but it helps St scratching what a shot oh no reward oh my gosh and she’s Treet topped to boot so blocked from the majority of the eightball she’s blocked from the piece that she needs to see to make it I think and being Treet topped that’s a double a double whammy there very unfortunate uh outcome for a beautiful shot on that 13 boy if that key ball just rolls another in and she’d have a nice clear look at the eight so maybe she does have it no I think she’s gonna be kicking at it off that side okay okay all right just yeah important just to get a good hit don’t give up ball in hand yeah just focus on getting that good hit and getting a ball to a rail use the diamonds this came Short came up a little short might have might have been a little bit uh little bit of the speed looked like she had a little bit of that little bit of English on it too but uh either way Kim’s got a chance here ball in hand she’s going to leave her six ball for her key ball to the eight so it looks like she’s just going to roll this four into the bottom leftand corner and then leave herself the seven on that top top left corner and I would expect Kim to be out here um I think she’s probably a little frustrated from that last rack so she’ll probably try to keep this as simple as possible and I I would expect to see her get out here good point she was in a similar situation last rack with ball in hand and just a couple balls on an open table and uh failed to get the completion but this is another opportunity to close out the set earn her way into the finals is this uh now is this a trophy uh tournament or is there some cash on the line here some prize money for these ladies no there was uh so there was a a I don’t know the Buy in but there was there was a buy in for it then the Little Dutch added money to the tournament so first place is going to be making around $450 to $500 plus there’s a winner take all side pot that seven of the players got into so there’s $140 side pot um second I think takes gets around 350 and then uh 250 to third I think um and then the winner does get a trophy in addition to the money yeah and that’s what they’re really playing for right the money gets spent the money gets spent quickly but the the memories and the pride and the you know the the sense of accomplishment of you know winning a tournament like this is last will last far longer than the than the money yeah the money is just icing on the cap these ladies want the bragging rights they want to be able to to be able to know that they you know they they were Queen of the Valley especially this first one this first one’s going to be a big one she left herself a little long here but she’s taking her time and that’s not going to go no stretch here and this is the last opportunity for cheris to to on this rack uh I would assume there’s again just like her last eightball bank there was it was a miss and lose this is also going to be a miss and lose shot um got to make it not easy hard to see the angle being a lefty makes it a little easier I think down it goes and it’s hill hill love it well you know so Kim has really got to be frustrated so this is two racks in a row that she had a very good opportunity with ball in hand with just a few balls left and did not convert yep yep yeah and you know this is I think this is cherish’s third or fourth hill hill match in this tournament she’s uh and I think she’s won every single one of her hill hill matches throughout the course of this tournament and it will say you know that the player that comes back to make it hill hill is the favorite to win the set because they have that momentum they have that confidence whereas the other player you know starts getting doubt right and that’s just how these these matches and these tournaments go and that’s how this game goes uh you know when you’re playing well it’s it’s double good because your opponent starts playing worse all usually right yeah and and and the opposite happens when you start to struggle your opponent starts to play well um yep that’s why I always uh I always do it for myself and I’ve told told some people that you know when they’re playing in singles matches you know it’s so easy when you miss miss a ball or make a mistake you walk right the table you know you’re frustrated you’re kind of shaking your head and you know you you know set your queue down and you just you know you you’re presenting all those frustrations out I always tell people I’m like don’t do that you know I mean not only is it a negative thing for yourself you know pushing out that Ingy you’re obviously frustrated it help you to get over it if you just kind of try to maintain calm but when you show those frustrations to your opponent that immediately makes them more confident you know yes 100% yeah so it’s there’s there’s nothing there’s nothing I love more than hearing my opponent cursing and swearing and smacking his chalk down and you know whatever like that’s when I know I just it gives me more confidence I would say my ultimate goal in a pool match just to for my opponent to snap his queue in half you know like you know I know it sounds bad but you know hey it’s it’s War when you’re out there on the table you can be friends afterwards but you know y okay so dry break from cherish yep yeah she kind of did the same thing she did last break she clipped that second ball but didn’t get a ton of power into and it kind of ran the cube all around like a cut break but she didn’t make balls this time so I think stri to the suit you want in this rack I was going to say yeah and you got the option right you could you could play the five or the nine uh whichever one you like best but the stripes definitely in my opinion plays a little easier yep the ball that I’m concerned with with stripes is the 10 ball yeah and I can’t tell if that 10 goes in this bottom left hand corner clean or if you’re going to have to manipulate it you could manipulate it right now but to just pocket the stripe now we got a problem with the 11 ball yeah she can she can uh she can cut this 14 in a little bit of high left to avoid hitting the 13 and just clip the three not sure that’s what she’ll do she could also cut the 13 in come off and run into the three but I I like I like your shot the 14 com into the three you know you’re you’re pretty much guaranteed another shot on the 13 so so it’s you have to you have to solve your problems early well and I think that’s what she’s trying to do right here 15 is solving the 10 ball oh I think she meant to draw over into that four ball but she overdrew it yeah yeah loosen that four up a little bit cuz yeah the 10 does play to the bottom left corner but you have to have room for the Q ball to hit the 10 and that means The Four’s got to move a little bit yeah yeah and I think that’s what she was doing there she probably not a bad idea she probably she had the angle there instead of putting draw on it she just put some left-hand English you probably scoot it over and bumped it and she knows she has those two balls in that corner pocket the 13 and 14 as options to break out the 11 so she tried to take that there knowing that that might have been her best shot at breaking it out but she Tred again just come up short right Rich says he uh will be returning to the Dutch for commentary soon y I will finish out this set with you and then uh let you guys handle the finals here I will be uh moving myself to from tournament to tournament today just helping out where I can so it’s uh it seems like on any given weekend on Evo Sports we’ve got about you know five or seven live streams going at different tournaments around the Northwest so try to help out that’s awesome really is it’s good for pool definitely we think so you know that’s what our goal is is is really to advance the sport and get people more engaged and have it have it be a little bit more fun it’s already really fun but it can be more fun yeah for sure getting more people involved so oh tough tough shot there but and you know that’s like our stream right now shows there’s a little over 30 people watching which isn’t a ton um but for our area that’s that’s pretty decent and one of the things is there’s there’s lots of people that are like couples that play pool or more people that are sitting watching together and there’s there’s even another bar here in town um down the road from the Dutch the ranch Tavern they uh they’re a pool bar and they try to support you know the people that run that bar and and the bartenders there are pool players as well so there’s lots of these matches and streams that they actually put on their big screen in there for people to watch so there’s there could be a bar full of people watching this match as well so yeah no kidding we got to get the ranch uh set up with EVO yeah that’d be nice I’m not not sure that’s something they want to do right now but uh yeah that’d be it’d be pretty cool because they run some tournaments here and there down there too oh wow okay so still problems here with the now that two ball blocks the path of the of the nine or whatever the 13 whatever that ball is uh so yeah this is not a lot of Opp not a lot of opportunity here on this inning for Kim no but I was gonna say you know you know you say you know yeah we’ve got 33 watching live which is not a lot but imagine you know when you see it as a number on the screen but imagine as a player if you’re at the if you’re at the table and there is 33 people standing around staring at you yeah you know what I mean like right you picture live people watching like at the bar like standing around the table like you’d have to have bleachers set up you know I mean yeah yeah for sure oh she wanted to clip that that two playing past it so that move the two out and leave the 13 in front of that pocket now I wonder if chice is going to look at this right because you’re going to come off and you have a chance to play it’s aggressive don’t get me wrong this is very aggressive but if it plays by the seven I might be looking at that and try to just draw into that 311 yeah she can she can play the two and punch that two and come off the rail and come come down here and separate these and then should Q ball might come into this direction and either give her a shot at the one or have the fours a backup too but she chose to not do that so looks like she might be shooting the four next into the side just leaving that three kind of where it’s at and she know she might what she’s wanting to do here but looks like she’s looking at the four ball she could also Bank the five up table and leave the Q ball down there as well playing safe and getting her five into a better position but I like that because you’re moving if if you can move a ball into this area it helps you with your chances of getting you know action and breakouts later yeah uh just kind of moving moving balls around sort of like in one pocket right just improving position um because right now it’s not looking really good for getting out uh you just have to start looking at your plan B yep well the problem is from here whatever she does for a breakout on the three you still have the one as a problem oh she missed that shot there okay but it lands in it it lands in an absolute perfect spot for solids to have a breakout opportunity next turn at the table right um because yeah now if I’m Stripes I don’t want to move that that 14 I want to leave that there that’s kind of an insurance ball making it harder to pocket the nine um what are you doing here with stripes it’s just not a lot of you got to know you’re in a bad spot here with when that seven landed where it did uh you are at risk of potentially losing the rack in the next inning if you’re not careful here yeah I mean I would I would look at uh if that 13’s on the rail or not if it is not on the rail I mean probably either way I would probably kick at that 13 and try to try to get that 13 I mean either either move that kick at that 13 to play it a little Fuller up into the seven three taking away some of that there or just leaving it there and trying to get my 13 across the table a little bit over here not you know trying to leave them on the bottom side of that seven so she doesn’t really have much of a breakout but even there I mean she can depending on the angle she has in which pocket she’s shooting at she can break it out she’s she’s going for the tin ball here I just don’t know pocketing this ball what benefit it’s going to do for her at this point she missed it it would have left her a shot at the 14 to cut it in and break break out the 113 but that’s all pretty pretty sketchy so cherish here I mean looks like she’s playing some low so she might come two rails out oh no she played High there yeah she wants to get that one out which was nice because it the one didn’t play to either corner right so that was smart to to attack the one there um but she’s on the wrong side of the seven she doesn’t want to take the seven here because then you don’t have the chance for the breakout really unless you get perfect on the one to break out the three but this is what she’s gonna do and she’s come a bit far yeah she could easily clip the the top side of the three in scratch trying to play straight into it unless she draws over that other side rail and comes back into it but yeah the biggest problem with here biggest problem with using the oneand to break it out now is you don’t have another ball to set up on as we talked about you know you you have to break it out and get shape on the three which is adds an incredible amount of difficulty to the execution so let’s see what happens here not sure she’s got the best line for the breakout but she’s going to go for it here we go fasten your seat belt oh so close I was rooting for her there cuz I know how hard those are yeah yeah she struck the ball really well but she came off in between it somehow between that 13 and three yeah that was really unfortunate she just wanted to somehow get a collision and now she’s in a bad bad spot she’s forced to kick and break it out and there’s really not much you can hope for as far as leaving your opponent bad I mean it’s so good kick good hit and gets the Q ball all the way down that’s not bad look at this she’s actually blocked the 14 so she can’t see the 14 she’s got she’s got no shot here yeah I don’t know prob gonna play safety safety here I’m sure I any aggressive shots at all right there’s no there’s no offensive chance here she’s gonna probably you know come down into this ball here and try to leave the Q ball somewhere in this part of the rail right or you’re yep just got to be careful you don’t scratch play it nice and slow but what a shot from cheris to not actually you know sell out any kind of an offensive opportunity after you’re forced to break out that ball with a kick shot this is the best you could have hoped for but she’s going to come back to the table with something worse and there it is the perfect the perfect execution on that from Kim and CH is gonna have another kick it’s scary though you know anytime you let your opponent’s table even if they’re kicking doesn’t mean that they’re not going to be able to kick it in you know you I hate letting my opponent to table you have to in those spots I mean Kim obviously had to had to play that safety but Kudos is a cherish for forcing that you know because now she has another shot at the table so right is this what you do yeah that’s what I would do I could have swore i’ just seen her call this side pocket down here interesting okay there’s I mean nothing’s easy they’re all very very low percent no matter what you call it’s under 5% success chance right probably yeah sure so it’s a little bit of hope she goes two rails at it okay yeah yeah interesting that she liked the two there so that’s ball in hand for Kim with one more opportunity so again third Rack in a row where Kim has an Open Table Ballin hand um out opportunity third times the charm they say let’s see if Kim can close it out this time okay I like to play though like that shot she just did I’m not necessarily against I like to play him with like a draw stroke though or stop shot at least because I always like to leave myself as close to my next ball as possible especially when you’ve got ball in hand you know you could set that up to just draw it back a little bit uh she rolled forward which didn’t make it easier and you want to make things as easy as possible when the pressure is high like like this and this is definitely a high pressure rack being hill hill who’s going to go to the finals loser goes home winner goes on to the finals and has a chance to be Queen of the Hill it’s just a lot of pressure yeah here I mean what do you do here do you just roll this in and then take the 11 in the side over here or you put some English on this and play the two rails out towards the center to play the 11 in the same pocket exactly that’s what I’m doing yeah yeah going two rails I’m going two rails out I don’t like to try to hold anything uh I I I much prefer the you know the cuq ball coming out in this area here yeah because you got a long line to get really good shape on that uh 11 ball whereas you know you try to slow roll it your your window for position is very small right whereas you know your window for position coming out this way was huge right you had this this whole window for position going the two rails and out so you always have to look at where the large margin of error is and give yourself the maximum cushion yeah sometimes taking that extra rail not you know not all of us have perfect speed control on our Cubo and so that’s why I like to have that twoot area yeah now she’s looking at this and she looks like she’s obviously stressing over making it versus scratching everything else I mean is there a I I’m aggressive player especially when I have an opportunity at the table to get out but there might be a spot here where she maybe jacks up and plays like a stop shot and Banks the 11 like this leaves a q ball for a safety I like it I like that shot and I think that’s what she’s yeah she’s she wasn’t going for the bank she was going for the she had to jack up and that was the problem she didn’t get the draw that she wanted on that Q ball because of being jacked up close to the rail and that’s what caused the Q ball to go forward there but I like that because you know if you can get the Q ball to stop here it doesn’t really matter if you make your ball or not you’re getting back to the table if you do make it you’ve got a shot on the eight um I like that opportunity and as it is she still left a very difficult shot for cheris yeah and we’ve talked quite a bit on these streams and Rich even brought it up earlier about you know two ways um isn’t something that he condones for a lot of the lower rated players um and it’s mostly because you know trying to split your focus um is difficult and you’re going to not execute either one of them typically but there is a time and a place for it that would have been a good good time there to try that combo or try that bank and uh get safe yeah and Rich comments in the chat stop shot safe which was he was calling but like you said you don’t want to play both you got to just commit to one and say I’m gonna commit to the safety if the ball goes you know I’m gonna call a pocket if the ball goes great right I’ll be okay but but I’m playing the safety right and so you’re 100% playing the safe and you have to commit to one you don’t want to be I’m GNA try to pocket it and I’m G to try to play safe and then you get that 50/50 and you end up in in a you know neither one works yeah and that was a perfect two-way spot for her because she can commit to the safety know that the ball is traveling towards that pocket and if it goes she’ll have a good shot on the eight so she can call it and commit to one you know and then if it goes It goes uh yep but CH chur tried to tried to bank that three ball banked it short um giving Kim another chance here yep she does so she played another real kind of a two-way there holding that qball and I don’t believe I I don’t think that this is yeah this is definitely not here so she’s gonna have to she’s gonna come have to come in and kick underneath this three ball yep there she goes she’s calling this pocket right here and best of luck if she can come into it nice and full there’s a chance that it could be a two-way and she could get hooked behind you know she could get the leave behind the eight if she misses right yep but that’s you’d have to hit it real full at the right speed uh but again this this one you’re just you got to go all out you got to make this ball you you can’t hope that you’re going to get bad if you miss it although that could happen and it’s not going to you know she might have had a safety there had it not clipped the eight and moved it yeah it was close Q ball kind of roll forward a little far but yeah I mean it was a good try and this is that was credit to Kim for playing that great two-way on the 11 like she did on the on her last turn uh getting her this opportunity she earned this spot now yeah this is time it’s time to close escrow hey Eddie I see you there in the chat how are you guys doing CUO in this area right here is what I like okay uh oh this could be a problem we got hill hill drama ladies and gentlemen cheris with a chance for the big time comeback being down 4 to2 in this set and having a chance now to come back and win it to go to the finals oh no oh no you never want to see that oh that’s brutal oh that’s like being punched in the gut oh God I understand though believe me I feel the pain because I’ve been there so many times right just trying to get a little extra out of that CQ ball because they want she wanted to bring it around table and got a little too much draw or got hit it a little too full either one and man this is I’d like to see Kim set up QQ ball like in this area here and just back cut this and have the CQ Ball come off like this yeah okay that way you’re not trying to hold shape you’re not having to do anything englishwise it’s 100% natural um anything else I mean you can you can set the cube ball up over here but you’re coming across your your shap line um things can get kind of funky coming this way coming down through here you have this whole room for error you know yeah you’ve got a massive margin of error and being a right-handed player shooting for the Q ball right here is fine if you’re a lefty that may not be as easy right but she’s a right she’s a right-handed player so uh I think she likes your idea put a little spin on it I I prefer to get the cball a little closer to the Braille just to make that angle a little more natural yeah I think she’s just going to try to come one rail out at it okay see that’s what I’m talking about it you know she I think she was trying to come one rail this like this um hit it just a little full left herself this this straight shot here yeah I I agree with you about bringing this cuq Bal to this rail and then you have all this distance in here to you know have the side pocket available but she’s okay here Bear Down close it out not yet she missed one more whoa we have so much drama in this that’s a little bit of the pressure I think frustration for Kim she’s had chances to close it out and then a little bit of the pressure hill hill here on the stream um chish is really good at making these kinds of shots here just wants to make sure she doesn’t hit this hit this a little flat and come you know come off and come this way oh the scratch is definitely in play here there’s no doubt about about it that scratch is in my mind uh I always play these with outside umh when I’m like this I don’t know if she’s CU she shoots a lot of shots with inside but looks like she’s playing a little bit of low which will work as well oh she hit it fat so we have another chance for Kim here the Dr going back and forth yeah and it’s just crazy it just shows you how the Pressure Works in in matches and stuff because in in a regular regular match or a regular um league play or anything like that um I mean these ladies are getting out way sooner than this they’re not missing these kinds of shots but you add in the the queen of the Hill making it to the finals hill hill in this match on the live stream lots of people watching rooting them on it it makes it difficult and you know what there’s probably a lot of people out there going what the hell I can’t believe they’re missing these but you know what Under Pressure I’ve missed easier a lot of people have oh there it goes Kim gets it done and gets the chance to have her rematch with Dora right yeah absolutely that was a good match they were back and fourth and then cherish made a good comeback and then just couldn’t finish it there at the end and both of them struggled and then Kim ended up ended up finishing it winning 54 um thanks Patrick appreciate you jumping man it was really awesome to have you on commentating with us it was my pleasure um thanks for uh allowing me in and uh uh good luck to uh Kim and Dora in the finals and uh hope you guys do well she’s getting her picture taken there so we get third place uh so all right I’m gonna bow out and you guys have fun with the rest of this uh uh finals match and uh talk to you guys soon all right
