I taunted dis Mania a little bit in my md4 and notion review and I said hey if you guys want some more free promo I know you guys like to watch sometimes and if this by chance you guys are creeping and you’re watching you’re checking it out if you want to ship out like all the Tour series discs five discs nine hole bird or die video I mean you got the address they hooked it up I said five discs and we would do a nine-hole birdier die challenge so this is going to be episode two of my birdier die series first one was with 10 discs from Discraft first I got to show you what these bad boys are and then I’ll explain the rules of the challenge as we walk over to Hole number one always throw your boxes on the ground by the way we have the Tour series disc that come out so far this year from discmania the noric Phenom 3 which is an sine dd3 it feels like it’s not going to be crazy stable it feels honestly like it’s going to go super far and I’m at of course I haven’t played in a long time and they redid some of the layout and added new basket so I’m actually really pumped about it we have an Ella Hansen showstopper 2 this thing looks nice and it feels pretty stable for an FD and it feels really good hand we have a color glow Vanguard from Kyle Klein a last howl from Colton Montgomery and a Kyle Klein Cosmic Fury 2 coin’s getting all the love where’s the Ganon disc where’s the alen disc where’s the Gavin discs hopefully those will come in another bir die series I do know at least one of those what they’re going to be but I can’t I literally can’t say and why would I I want those people to like me today we’re at a course that I used to play a lot before I moved to another part of town it’s called bird’s nest it’s 27 holes 18 kind of down in this bowl here and then there’s nine that are back over there I hear they’re doing a redesign for those holes cuz they’re all right but they’re never really super wellmaintained but BS has just got in new Disc Golf Park baskets which are from dis Mania but I might have to start coming out here a little bit more because they kept the old baskets and just added new positions with the new baskets some new positions some old positions this looks like a slightly different position to where it used to be it used to be more straight ahead now it’s a little lefter but you can see the Mach 3 down there the disc golf park a little farther and there’s going to be a lot of holes since we’re playing the Longs today the light cuz we have mostly drivers that I have never seen before which I’m actually super excited about we got some crazy suniness going on right here hopefully you can see but we’ll go ahead and start around and we’re going to play oh it’s Inova whoops uh-oh sorry but we got a 480t part 3 A 450t Part 3 a 476 ft part 3 A 528t Part 4 and a 421 ft part 3 on the front and the way that birdi your die works is any disc that I don’t birdie with from either throwing it on the te or throwing it as an upshot On a par 4 I have to give away before I leave looks like there’s only one other person here and they’re on whole 17 but it’s not going to happen cuz I’m going to birdie with all these we only have nine holes to do it I haven’t thrown any of these except for the cosmic Fury 2 but there’s one last rule two off the top obviously like always you only get to take the birdie with whichever disc you actually birdie with but I am limiting myself on the amount of hisers I’m able to throw a high stall or Spike Hiser if it’s like a pushing penetrating flat Hiser that’s not Hiser for the purposes of this but if it’s iffy I’m going to count it as AER you’re definitely not going to be able to see it it’s way too sunny but I’m just going to say to roll a D3 because I roll a six-sided die to see how many hisers I can get on 18 hole video and I roll a D3 we go ahead and go I get one Heiser today I hope you can’t see that but it it says it says one so that’s going to be a little bit difficult to bur with all five of these guys we might need the Nordic Phenom later if we have some 450 plus holes so I’m going to do my best to get there with these discs especially because that way I won’t use theer cuz I have to flex it I think we’re going to go Vanguard first I haven’t thrown any of these except for the cosmic Fury but I’ve heard some things about them and this one I’ve heard is pretty flippy for a Vanguard which is supposed to be like a slightly straighter PD why you’re so stable what the was that light to or just am I wrong oh that was really bad okay we need to correct so we’ll do that with the last towel wow I want to throw the FD cuz they go really far we do have a right to left but I really expected to throw that on that and just have it drift cuz it drifted less than one of my Romans and I thought it was supposed to be flippy so we’re going to treat a little stable yes that’s the shot dude might be a little short but I’m liking that that’s not a crazy beefy PD and not a crazy understable it’s kind of like what you expect the PD to be in the last episode I did get a bogey and at that point I was just enjoying the new series that I created I was having so much fun and honestly it is so fun to think about just birding with the disc rather than the overall score but I ask you guys what would be the best punishment for a bogey and there are a couple really good answers so first level punishment if you get a bogey is you lose a Hiser unfortunately I only have one second level though if I’m out of hisers is one of the discs that is safe gets pulled from the safe zone I’m even less incentivized to use my hisers now because I either I’m going to lose them with a bogey lose them by using them and if I have none left I might have to give away a disc that I’ve already birdied with if I do decide to Bogey well I guess it’s not quite a decision at that point but I really like those suggestions so thank you guys so much for those and now let’s hope that I can make a putt let’s go if you guys have watched my putting the last couple videos I’ve been putting with my signature Marvels and it’s fine but I honestly I think I’d continue putting with them cuz I’m like man this is so cool like I have my own signature putter through birdie and they’re like a a base glow blend and I brought out the stiffs now cuz it’s like 95 freaking degrees out and I was practice putting with them I was like oh maybe that’s why I’m missing putts cuz these could actually like feel the Putter and not feel like it’s going to stick to my hand because of the grip that it gets one through one and the last howl is saved four more to go but this basket oh it’s actually not crazy far the next to though I think is up a hill and it’s like 460s part three so I’m a little scared for that one this one might be one of the only chances that we have on this front nine that looks a little long to to bring the cosmic Fury home there could be a turnover that was a head right to left there so it be a little tail left to right which is not bad but it’ll probably overstable us out wondering how I’m GNA be using these hisers 274 they call it and the next one 450 up a hill Oh gosh hopefully I’m throwing fart today let’s go Cosmic Fury 2 please be amazing that looks nice keep drifting oh that’s pretty short I feel a little bad cuz I feel like I lie to you cuz I thought this thing was 20 ft short but it was parked so let’s go also sorry Inova I love you these are disc catchers they’re not Disc Golf Park baskets just so used to seeing white Disc Golf Park baskets and then I was like oh it’s a disia video disia is on the mine dis Mania is in Colorado or at least they were whoopsies this is all three and the only position I’ve ever seen is the one that that Mach 3 is right on top of the hill this one it is way up there 453 up a hill and it’s part three so good thing we got a little tail left to right you can see the basket wear position you kind of right on the edge of this tree if this Nordic Phenom 3 is as much of a bomber as it feels this feels like the people’s dd3 kind of like very different to last year’s cloudbreaker which this is not a cloudbreaker this is a Nordic feedom 3 and I do think it’s smart that he went with a dd3 when Eagle left I I wonder what they’re going to do with the cloudbreaker m this like big crazy anheiser shot keeping it high enough is not really my specialty but I think that’s what we have to play oh no there’s a park lot up there well up a hill in a Tailwind uncommitted turnover equals not seeing the the full last flight maybe we could throw something in recently I’ve been really working on committing to anheiser and a lot of times it goes well but there are a good amount of times where I just rip it right into that tree and I think I’d rather be where I landed but neither are good I do really like this stamp and the distance on this bad boy wasn’t bad probably would put this like in a tournament ah it’s a little far we’ll throw the cosmic Fury right to left so keep that in mind try to dunk it in there go three for three oh I just noticed the Nicholas anelo logo here it almost looks like PA but I think that’s yin’s nickname like paw or something maybe a little too trusty in that right to left but not going to lie I just said that and then I realized that I threw a Hiser on the upshot so I’m inadvertently lost my only Heiser so now we absolutely can’t bogey cuz one of these disc goes back and then we only have six holes left that is not the realization you want to have right now this is a cool hole I wish I would have thrown my higher on it chill we’re chill oh I can’t believe I just I didn’t even think about it at all also while I’m editing this I’m putting all these in the Sun so I’m going to check back in with you at the end of the video as we recap kind of my thoughts I’ll show you some shots from the back n where I just try to learn these discs and give some more opinions so I can rank them as a top five at the end of this video but by the time I’m done editing this they’ll probably been in the Sun for about another 45 minutes or so and we can see which ones glow the best and yes I did spill rice all on the floor cuz I put them in here after taking pictures of them and then I just opened it up and now there’s a rice h on the floor so I guess s go rice buckets I’m a little I’m scared now I’m honestly scared uh down the hill 480 476 we do have a little headwind but I think it’s honestly prettyy good for this Vanguard the Vanguard is not nearly as Glide as the FD I can’t wait to throw the FD I just this is not the right shot for it uh cuz I think honestly it’ll Glide a little too far but I’ve heard it’s pretty overstable which is nice this is pretty flat so it’s honestly probably pretty good for forehands no more no accident on hisers man come on you can do this yes that’s so good oh that’s so good oh that’s so good let’s go there is a headwind here like there was in the first hole but I did I got the nose angle a little bit better but I could be 30 short either way I like that flight doesn’t seem like the farthest flying disc doesn’t even seem to be significantly flipper than the vanguards that I remember it seems to me more less like a PD and more like a bead in fd3 it’s all right just add the circle let’s drain this either way though just make sure we’re not doing anything silly with an overly aggressive run let’s go dude follow through okay buy stiff marbles don’t buy the dance blood ones who wants those anyways 3 through four only missing a 455 ft uphill shot not too mad FD dd3 the last two okay I’m kind of surprised that they put this position here cuz there is a position up on this mound which is typically like the longer position but that one’s kind of just like a just throw straight higher this one’s a little touchier you could obviously go over stuff but I think we’re going to try the FD right down the middle so you see that was a touch of flex but not right down the middle just just uh sets you up for a highlight pot you know so oh no Vanguard no longer safe we only have four holes left to get three of them I do think this next one is a par par four though and then a very long par three and then a shorter one oh no pretty bad Circle two bit even worse Circle one bit cuz it didn’t go in and it was a headon that I didn’t for any wind good news is this doesn’t seem to be the trickiest par 4 so we should be able to knock two of them off and then get the last one on the next hole but I think we’re going FD then Vanguard cuz it’s only 530 and maybe it’s eable but I think I need to save the Nordic Phenom for the next toll cuz the one after is going to be too short for it to like not throw either you can see the white basket all the way out there that’s where we’re headed big shot with the FD I also kind of want to see this how far it goes what a silly little bogey there glow Horizon in that’s pretty sweet I think there will be more glow Horizon disc coming out from what I’ve heard got a little right to left I think we’re going to just try to throw a Big Sky Annie and just like oh it’s so stable for an FD wow we’re not going to that basket by the in case you’re wondering we’re not crazy far away from the basket so a little flexy Vanguard is going to be a little touchy but if we can put it under the basket the next should have a Tailwind with the Nordic Phenom 3 for 440t shot not a easy birdie cuz it’s on a mound another chance for a bogey but if we get that and we just play it safe on the next tole probably just throwing Cosmic Fury straight at the basket making sure we don’t throw aiser we should save all these discs and then just get to figure out how they fly in the back n and hopefully put down a hot score I think that’ll do [Music] Vanguard and showstopper safe Vanguard safe again Nordic Phenom 3 let’s get this birdie and be done with it hole seven oh wait this is only seven oh we’re chilling we’re chilling we got three holes to go thought this is the second to last hole let’s go either way let’s still get the birdie and then we have to make sure we don’t throw any accidental hisers and that we don’t bogey the next two they call this one 421 got to make sure to flex it and be pretty outright because I don’t need to throw it as hard as possible so I think it’ll stay out a little early and I these flies love my microphone right now just make sure to give it Flex perfect I think it hit the rocks that are at the base of that thing that’s really good I don’t know if it’s necessarily as glidey as the eagle last round Cloud Breakers those swirly ESPN ones because that one was a little domier than these Nordic Phenom 3s but these remind me more of stock sline d3s which are pretty flippy this is a little more of a stable than those maybe the Horizon helps out a little but I did not have to throw that very hard and I’m pretty sure I’m in the circle so that’s really nice it’s always nice to be able to put this one up here but little down here is not [Music] bad all right we saved all five of them through seven holes and we had to save the Vanguard twice let’s see if we can get two more birdies on this front line hey we’re on track for a pretty good round here and these this doing the job 300 ft straight ahead I think we’re going to go flexy forehand with the Vanguard around this tree slight headwind just no accidental hisers that’s all we need right now uh-oh a little extra wobble but that was pretty straight that was a lot of anheiser for almost no reason could have just thr the cosmic Fury too I was worried about that tree still a better shot though I want to put a quick call out there because I am honestly considering putting these Cosmic Furies in my bag I have two other ones I believe um they’re a little gummy for me and the reason I’m considering putting them in the bag is cuz I left my green rimmed Envy at prickley Pines and I played that course the video like three or four videos back so if anyone sees that green rimmed Envy with a shattered van stamp and it’s got my last name right on the bottom no number or anything I would love to get that thing back that has been with me for a while and it’s pretty nicely seasoned um so if I can’t get it back that’d be great but I lost it so I know it’s my fault obviously but if I’m able to get it back I’ll be super appreciative drop in there oof oh don’t roll like that no dude what are you doing probably should have just laid that one up but you got to run the birdie you know I was a little worri not going to lie so our basket is kind of through here you might be able to see a little bit of it over there I think we’re going to play since we have a slight like head right to left I think we’ll play a stall Flex not a stall Hiser with the showstop [Music] FD come on now come on now oh just fell right down so far I’ve liked them all the Vanguard so far is at the bottom of my list but I think it’s cuz I thought it was something that’s not and now that I know what it is it’s pretty sweet it’s hard cuz I really like a lot of these and this Mania treats me well so I like this Mania but oh this is actually almost like this is Edge of the circle so this really isn’t that [Music] bad no that was really good except for the [Music] tree never seen this position before but play 420 we’re going to try this FD okay A little drifty I know if these go far but dang This is 40 ft long in the basket so probably close to 460t shot with this [Music] thing no way we’re going to see where that basket I think that was like a really good shot for the long basket maybe it would have been short so one time you don’t want to hit metal huh I’ll real quick throw to the short and we’ll look at the Vanguard versus the lone house it does have some like initial turn kind of reminds me of the ledstone Raptors go in oh my dang jeez all right we are way up [Music] there go wow it didn’t hold it as long as I thought oh no that’s a really long look dang I thought that that would hold over more see if I can get it with my ey BL [Music] Emperor oh it’s way flipp here that dd3 might be more similar to my grick girthy Emperor much better lines oh yeah that one’s pin high right we know we got it just threw a bad shot and now we got to make a put make up for it the is a little wider on this than like an emperor Destroyer it just feels like that it might not be true it might be because it’s got a little less Stone the emperor feels a little easier to get the nose angle right from me I just was not throwing this one good but we have a puff for sure no it’s too low great line [Music] though come on big skip oh my I gen I I genely thought I made that not even close actually there’s the disc there’s the basket Wishful eyes I would have to say my ranking of these five discs is none of them are bad and honestly the more I threw this Nordic Phenom 3 it kind of fell down my list a little bit I think my favorite is this showstopper 2 very glat a little bit over stability super fun Disc second I think it’s Cosmic Fury tube this what I could consider going in my bag this one I don’t know I don’t really throw seven speeds much and then third I think it’s going to be a tie between between all these the Vanguard grew on me and the dd3 grew grew down grew off me during this round but I think I have to go show stopper Cosmic Fury tie between these three for last all righty these three bad boys have all been hanging out in the sun I have had to move them a little bit cuz the sun is shifted in this window let me snag him real fast we’ll take him to the stairwell cuz I think that’s actually a pretty good place o you can already see him glowing a good bit oh here actually I got a little crawl space this will be the glow the glow space now I’m going to adjust my exposure manually so it looks pretty much like what I’m seeing and this is kind of the levels to it this on camera looks way Bluer Than it is in person this looks much greener in person I don’t know why that is the case looks very blue there and I cannot get it to not look blue but but to my naked little eyes it looks green this one looks like the same color that it is in person and wait now it’s blue what the stop it okay it’s a little Bluer that’s kind of what it looks like it looks a little greener in person and then this one one maybe it’s like a UV glow like my Marvel’s cuz this thing is not glowing at all the rim I mean I ever so faintly I can see it but I would say Cosmic Fury rank number one in glow rank number two in this so maybe one overall now cuz the glow on this kind of a fraud what are you doing probably can charge it and get it to Glow but if it’s sitting in that something for that long and not getting anything and then this one it did H it’s still actually pretty glowy but the cosmic Fury glows longer and brighter the color glow here even though it’s purple it looks green in person looks bluish green in person more blue you know this is actually pretty accurate to how I’m seeing it now but it looks a little green or tinted when it’s brighter this is a pretty good glow this also looks way greener in person this looks way blue on camera but those are the glows hopefully more glow checkins cuz now we don’t have the crawl space we got the glow space I’m glad I won one of these hopefully more birdier dies to come this is the pile left side of reviews for the main Channel obviously comparative disc as well and then B on the right
