like he’s very very good probably the quickest driver point A to point B right like he’s proper god tier settings but to say that and then not say that he doesn’t mes or that he couldn’t be more assertive or that he couldn’t um leverage a semblance of a strategic brain he nonsense you can’t even take that that nonsense seriously not if you me at least and again but on this channel we will never ever sacrifice truth and objectivity the altar of anyone’s partisanship definitely not that of one charlot what are you talking about sha was broken by Ferrari in 2022 I argued this with um shz on the latest Shakedown I think the problem with sha not to say that he can’t overcome adversity because for Pete’s sake like I mean he’s his old man died and he jumped in the car and won that very next race right same thing with um with je like he’s he’s resilience it’s almost like resilience focuses him but what he can’t deal with very well or at least hasn’t done of late adversity in real time when the race gets teeken you’ve got to start to solve for something as happens in Formula 1 or any other Motorsport please see an example Monaco a couple of years ago when the track was drying out do you pit now do you do you try and stay out and manage the con the changeable the difficult conditions and pit later save yourself of pit sters science ended up doing you got to like when he’s going to work his brain in real time and figure something out or when he’s going to when he’s going to mop up for Ferrari’s iniquity strategically and or operationally I think he just feels begrudged a grieved even like a woman scorned he can’t help himself and he allows that to permeate and affect his performance to the down side whereas a Carlos science Jr on the other side of the grid has this ability to a fix for Ferrari’s nonsenses and their their poor lowlevel decision making in real time to question them constructively and challenge back and to drive around the ineptitudes that Ferrari have shown on so many occasion and that’s the difference if if you were to do a gap analysis a cheeky waterfall if I put on my accounting cap for a second the only reason why Carlos scien is anywhere near close to charlot Clair is because of that because nobody can tell me that Chara clir isn’t faster than Carlos s Jr in terms of absolute Pace that’s another nonsense argument that that argument is as nonsensical as the charl doesn’t make mistakes once so again as an F1 mind a very nauy F1 mind all I’m trying to understand is how caros SS because he’s so much slower nine times out of 10 than charlot CLA is able to challenge so often it doesn’t make sense if not for that explain car Carlos SS Jr is doing some very clever things in real time in the leveraging his race IQ race Savvy devilment um being a bit street smart as well right like he’s a brilliant M go back and listen to the new project podcast with Carlos s Jr he is levels like he’s wear so it’s in Spanish so you’ll need the subtitles potentially but he’s just like his way of articulating and describing being F1 and the circumstances that he’s got a Sol for in real time and and even if you listen to him feeding back to Ferrari the he’s just very particular on the words that he’s choosing he’s succinct and concise in equal measure he’s just the different he’s just the different level racing mind one that Charlotte CLA has a lot to learn from to be honest I think it’s it’s a shame in that sense not e can’t learn stuff from Lewis absolutely but the one thing that Sha’s lacking sha doesn’t need to learn speed from LS cuz he’s quick enough already what he needs to learn is the assertiveness and the constructive push back and the race IQ of a Carlos science Jr so in a sense in one sense it’s quite it’s it’s a travesty that Carlos science is leaving that team because you’d ideally want for Char lir to continue learning from the Spaniard man from Madrid they thought Chara was the next shoeer but to me he’s nothing more than a A or G hardberger convinced me otherwise from boys Matthew as disparaging it is you hear me say very tongue and cheek that I I refer to him as modern day Jonah laaz but he reminds if he’s going to if he’s going to become who we all think and hope that he becomes in future then these are points that he’s got to with being not necessarily the ability to handle mind games I don’t think that’s it being the mistakes the material ones of Consequence the frequency of those mistakes being able to lead the team and and drive around their mistakes if indeed they keep making them as it looks like scaria Ferrari potentially are not allowing their mistakes to affect your performance to the downside and I because I think genuinely at this stage I think that’s been Charles that’s stakes around Red Bull being able to secure the second their third Constructor Championship backto back or fourth even third I can’t even remember it doesn’t matter securing a constructor’s championship again now that that’s at risk nobody’s going to tell me that czecho Perez is being sabotaged because that’s just nonsense it makes zero sense why the F would readed will do that so I can’t engage that nonsense meaningfully but czecho yet and still is underperforming massively isn’t he and he’s just he’s got to sort it out but again I don’t know what to solve is I don’t like to present problems without suggesting solves I I just don’t know what where does he go what does he do I think the solve is Carlos s Jr I will be honest now I know that Carlos doesn’t bring in as much winded way but I am getting into it as far as the money circumstance here’s what you want to consider if czecho Perez brings in 30 million net including his contract which probably is about I going to say it’s like eight or 9 million so let’s say they pay czecho 9 million and then get in 30 million that’s a net gain each and every single year for Red Bull of 20 million not even accounting for the amount of energy drinks that he sells in Central and Latin America right that that that’s completely discounting those things so again there is a financial upside to having czecho Perez in that car not to mention a mark marketing upside you can send him on red bull runs through North America Central America Latin like do you know what I mean he has that marketing upside absolutely there is an upside to having that chap in a car but from a performance perspective there is a downside if you fit back to the the Finance perspective let’s do a compare and contrast if Carlos SS wants 15 million in a year and he’s going to bring in 5 million a year then that’s a net loss of 10 million right as versus a net gain versus czecho Perez of 20 so that’s massive right you’re losing yourself a net by signing czecho Perez by signing caros science Jr as versus czecho Perez that’s a net loss of 30 million a year can’t sniff at that right you can’t sniff at that but again now you got to start thinking about how much you potentially going to lose from not winning the constructor’s championship if you stasis if you keep it as is and keep czecho Perez in that car and this is where you’ve got to get your calculator out and do some compare and contrast some risk benefit some risk reward counts right cost benefit analysis properly they’ve got to start thinking about the the the opportunity cost of keeping czecho Perez what that looks like from a pnl and balance sheet perspective and what that looks like from a performance perspective because cash rules everything around me cream get the money dollar dollar bills your shout out to Wang F1 is of course the epitome of that many teams have drowned for not being able to continue as a financial going concern and Red Bull have to take that into
