okay so I’ve been putting together a golf bag which I personally think is the best most forgiving golf bag of 2024 and I’ve been playing some of the golf of my life with it today we’re going to put it in the hands of not only myself but also Brett how you doing I’m right are you Brett I’m very very good thank you guys we’re out in Turkey today we’re at col and links one of the most difficult golf courses in turkey and we have these clubes we’ll talk you through them as the video goes on but Brett off 12 I’m a PJ professional we’re going to have nine-hole match and I’ll give your shots on the card Lely how does that sound we kick things off on the fourth we had a little bit of a warmup and we’ve played all right haven’t we to be fair so I’m level power I think you’re about 10 over as you can see par three and a gorgeous little par three playing exactly 144 yards cuz Brett’s taking the initiative and already miled it ready Bobby could learn a lot couldn’t he he could Bobby yeah yeah he is my intern right I’ll give you the honor Brett beans is um we’ve had a bit of the series out here so far and this means a lot to Bret because he’s not won one match yet I’ve won all of them this is to take it to a decid that’s what this this is to book another round next week yeah we had a uh a warm-up game before we came didn’t we irons wise we’re talking Wilson Dino Power Forge I’m in love with these I brought them out just to do the review and test them I feel like doing another video apologizing to Wilson cuz I love them so much I’ve hit some of the best golf shots I’ve ever hit with them arguably and they feel great right 144 it speaks volumes that we’re hitting pitching w at 144 it is downwind but do you get a shot here I would probably say not looking at the yardage I believe not no uh ooh stroke index 11 you do I do that is unbelievable he’s worried already just got to find the green pressure on I’ll tell you what how’s a one net on this is for a great start oh Bret Cooper Take a Bow oh have you ever a pitching W is that good in your life no you’re there for none you’re worried aren’t you already I’m uh should we stting the next as if you get a shot here he’s here already as if he get a shot oh dear not my best stuff that’s just pressure it is it’s pressure it’s pressure so you’ve been using these a little bit you told me to these are the psgs that you got from clubs for cash I am yeah what your honest thoughts on them slightly more forgiving um distance-wise they they surprised me how far um I’d get it where one thing with the psgs that I thought I benefited was uh distance a little bit with them but we actually using these out here um I’ve I’ve kept that same distance as well and what I can’t believe is the feel you get with these as well so not only do you get the distance in the performance but the feel as good as any for dant yeah lovely nice soft feel this might be one down yeah you’re in trouble you could be the first time you’re up in the series yes I’ve not been up while we’ve been away oh Dam we’re still waiting uh on the edit from at home though aren’t we from Bobby yeah Bobby you’re to Bobby’s job aren’t you I am it’s a bit slow especially when I’ve got a winner on card and it’s not even live yet there might be the reason for that right I’ve done myself there cuz Brett isn’t even that close and I’ve gone and hit a a terrible one going flag hunting going for Bunker which isn’t ideal come on up and down I think I get a heart here you think yeah well you think I’m three putting yeah that was a lot more difficult than it looked as well yeah a good stance was it no I’m still happy I’m there for none that would be delirious right Brett’s got this for the opening birding for for a net hole in one Bret you could say I’ve got that oh oh hello that’s all right the pace was excellent line was questionable yeah didn’t see we’ve not we’ve not played on greens out here that actually broke no we haven’t the greens have been interesting out here to say the least in Turkey guys we’re here thanks to the guys at golf mates travel so if you are looking at book turkey make sure you check them out I really struggled yours and I didn’t make a single thing no he didn’t end catching me so I might eat me words here cuz I might not met this big moment big big moment pulled it guys somehow I’ve gotten away with a half out of that oh dear gorgeous thisi this highi putter oh dear good off mate made at that now oh yeah what we got left shot wise have a look you get oh God you’ve got one the next three next two that’s a stroke seven stroke one 17 and 15 these where I need to capitalize stroke stroke 17 and 15 two shot two holes in a row where you don’t go shot keep keep it level through there I think I’ll be all right you can see you guys fifth all no drones this week cuz we’re not allowed him water all down the left here at col links right so elephant in the room we had a match the other day and like part of the big story here is I I wanted to make a set of golf clubs that everyone could use but also that aren’t necessarily High handicap kind of hackers clubs pardon the the terminology but this I think and we have another one in the bag which might well be under embargo when this video comes out but it probably won’t be so we’ll have a look at the other one as well but I think that’s probably one of the best drivers for anyone who wants to keep the ball in play ever 100% And I think if you watch the match before as soon as we turned to both res it in this the match was so competitive because we’re both in play consistently weren’t we and I think when you’re playing a golf course that you don’t know you don’t really know the yardages you’re not bothered about what club you’re going to have in you’re just thinking about getting in play off the te something like that is absolutely massive because when I brought my driver out cuz I’m to be honest I want to try overpower you a little bit because you’ve got the shots so I think that’s what that’s my game plan but for you just keeping in playing nudging it I could be in trouble with that definitely I’ve got a little tunnel here for the trains to go through so I think that’s I don’t know what that is it’s a green steak I’ve never seen a green steak is that a free drop I have no idea man of your knowledge I thought would be uh well it’s a free drop off the path so I imagine they’re treating it as the path yeah they’ve got to be at there yeah right all wow look at that come back off the wind as well you know it’s a good one when the gloves off before the balls landed don’t you definitely that’s when you know you’ve get a good one job done now pass me that here cuz that was a lot tigh than thought I’m going for it that’s what we’ve just said I’m pushing him because of his shots now you are Fairway finder yeah but you’re not bullying me into it I’ll leave you with te as well then thanks mate the shed’s lovely as well isn’t it sit y it’s good but you know when the wind’s coming off that way you’re a bit I mean that’s a very very tight landing area I’m glad I did hit that they’re so good AR they anyone who wants to keep the ball in play more have a look he changed me life there’s the train that’s going to the tunnel come on Ross let’s see if we can it’s a good job that tunnel’s there with Rossy byy on the te we’ve got a train we’ve got a new new family of four walking down and Ross with his iron out through it I must say uh no we don’t have to do Fairway so far I’m really impressed with cor links we’ve played quite a few C we played Gloria k Palazo this is this is the one far really ni huge thanks to the guys at gol Mi travel so now like I said very very grateful two great drives there nice little boat coming up here as well I tell you what doesn’t this place have awesome free beer so it doesn’t have yeah g had free beer have free beer put 60 on him there by the way as well maybe 70 over overpowered it’s whole fun not sure that’s a name you’d want on you about is it factual or is it not it is quite factual but uh 135 playing 141 and this is potentially one of the only areas that I think maybe these Ang could come unstuck say if so Brett’s 12 handicap he’s trying to get down he’s kind of getting back into golf again can you play the half shots with them that’s going to be interesting today yeah it is yeah I’ve found them okay I’ve been able to kind of play them and really manufacture shots that I like and to be honest holiday golf I really enjoyed them being a little bit easier to hit than maybe Momos or any other the blades that you might be using it’s a little knock down one mate is it yeah that’s very greasy sorry all that sun cream must be is absolutely staggeringly hot out here today very greasy right I said I got a shot here didn’t we yeah still greasy only real Hazard is that big lake on the left in it it is and he a gone there he just left that to the right at touch it’s not bad actually that I think it’s long did think it was a lot of Club I didn’t want to kind of talk you out of it cuz I want you to play your own game but personally thought that was too much club wedges wise I’ll talk about wedges when we get up there cuz wedge plays something that you probably struggle with a bit we’ll have a special Club in there should you want it yeah it is a tough part of the game I love ad Damian dff man Duff man right I’m we’ll call it 40 for up not 60 is that what you gave me 40 40 I think yeah 40 of your little steps just in the middle and again that driver we can’t we can’t speak enough about that driver can we no you were screaming it down a little bit W you grab that keep forgetting well you didn’t want me to H it did you I G too far no no you were chasing it you were telling me and then bottled it at the first uh 11 15 into the wind well I’ve chased up put 40 on you this is where I’m going to try and play a little knock down pitching wedge into the wind be the number be the number is that good or is it a little bit long could be a little bit long abely that was exactly the ball flight I wanted everything all over it oh dear right well it’s a little bit long but like for the shot I wanted to play again talking about those knockdown shots quite happy with it what club do you want here your flag High to the right this is when it worries me I’ve brought so I brought the mg wedges not because they’re over forgiving because I think they’re just the best wedges ever they’re so so good and I’m going to go and get fitted for a set of these you can see how that Central gravity just goes up towards the top a little bit we got a 56 as well or I brought you that from 11 so we have a good I mean you don’t thing is it’s a lot of LOF you I don’t want to put a club in your hand i’m let you choose but no I think you’re right the 52 see what I can do big moment it is a big moment shot hole another shot hole another one another one I’m not even going to say anything about the water long that’ be nasty to mention that was it that’s a great golf shot that’s a great golf shot bro well done everything about that don’t catch that slow we’ll go in a bit no it stopped everything about the little lesson I gave you the other day you did right there thank you I’m pleased for you that’s first compliment you give me all all that it’s first chance I’ve had to give you one really yeah so that speaks more about you and it does about me that wow I’ll tell you what with those Wilson irons as well with a little knockdown wedge I’m taking that for a bit of stoppage all day long BR it’s still on you you’ve got your poput come up this and I need mine for the half what a gorgeous setting we’ve got by the way unbelievable feels very American that hole I think this hotel feels very American yeah you’ve got to hit it pick it up it’s not a terrible 5 net four on that hole but it is for the match it’s it’s quite poor yeah no one up uh it is yeah uh no it’s not yes it is it’s a lovely view how many did you get keep driving keep on driving right all jokes side that is one up Hall six we have a par four quite kind of self really straight with a little bit of Bunker there um what the shots I think you get another one oh this one stroke one don’t look like sh doesn’t look like Str in this one but if I can get through here there’s no shots on the next two get through here maybe even win this one um I’ll go big dog let’s take them both down there and assess you mini driver yeah definitely mini driver right wind off left I even got a ball I’m not excited I even got a ball big dog oh it’s big dog it’s out that Lone Tree and the wind brings it back to that Turkish flag that’s what he’s saying exactly how you called it sir always in trouble you know what I had to stopped then for the first time in a long time i’ sweat in my eye saw you actually get a w it’s uh it’s very hot like you’re going to have tears in your eyes in a second it’s very hot oh no that’s over there safe I feel like it hit the roof came back or went the other way I have no idea but I heard it there’s no internal L of bounds so you’re all right oh dear it’s just a slow starter mate aren you that all oh dear and that for me is where game management comes in massively I’m so pleased with myself for the mini drive on the last and then big dog on that I think there’s a time and a place for every shot and I think just trying to a squeak a bit more distance out but also make it a bit more squeaky bum time for this man because that drive kind of upset you a bit didn’t it yeah I’m I’m annoyed with myself I bet your dad would be really annoyed come on get in I’ll drive you Brett’s got a lovely family at home and they all want him to do well they just want him to succeed it’s it’s a lovely thing to see and the thing is when Brett L there’s none of them on to the phone Martin do you I just have to Cur up on toilet on toilet like the look of this water so much we come to see you know what it’s actually not a bad line I was actually going to tell you set you that remember the other day when we played and used that other Fairway to come up yeah without for I’ve just done exactly the same thing I mean that was because there were trees blocking me out not off the tea like because yeah I was thinking of that tree there I totally understand though yeah uh stroke one I don’t think you got too far in have you no M see it and have a look let’s have a little look at her I can’t see for sweat in my eyes no it’s a bit that way isn’t it that’s what we’ve got it tell me four yard at minute that’s wrong 147 playing 150 into the wind probably playing 160 165 With the Wind yeah it’s going to be a seven Sun cream in the eyes yeah might be tears you going tell me we ain’t got a seven we haven’t got a seven sorry I’ve left it in the studio I did the so guys if you want to see the numbers I’ll put the numbers on screen now with the seven ion because I left it we have to just try and drop a six ion down a little to be honest mate I didn’t want to say I think it is a six anyway do you yeah that wind I never trust you in these situations though that’s not a problem cuz I know how competitive you are I at a good six iron with this other day yeah you did Best Shot you’ve ever hit I’d say I think so it had you sweating he’s doing it again oh Bret Cooper look at that I just love this club I think look at that great shot would you contemplate having these in the back cuz you were tightest ap2 kind of person weren’t you you’re not telling me ap2s feel as good as that no definitely not no no you go up and see where that is I hope it’s not long they’re good I hope it’s not I think it is long yeah well I figured out why it’s stroking next one look at that green complex that looks incredibly difficult right I’m going to M to this I mean I’m nearly driven the green though yeah on stroke index one 60 yards this is a tough one because you can’t just play 60 yards cuz it’ll spin all the way back won’t it yeah what are we going for 60 yards um the 52 have I lost my glove last thing you need is to lose a glove I should have brought a wet weather yours is a wet weather glove is it yeah uh I just need to get it up that bank really one bounce at top of yeah I’m I’m trying to I’m trying to go lower with a bit a spin land at 55 skip up Stay Stay Stay oh she’s hung on didn’t get all of it I’m not going to I definitely got all of you then I’m annoyed with mine because I could have given it more the the plateau wasn’t as close I thought and yours was just clung on I wanted that seven you did want the seven back in the studio oh is that firm oh God is that firm stay on there aggressive that’s awful these um the good these greens no these I bet look like it were going back down that did it steady walking around it l a mass knocking about to knock it back down nasty that if your mom’s watching she’ll not all right if that pulled a gone in you or youing up would you if yours are go yeah no no no I’m happy for you playing good golf when you’re on your holiday as long as you’re having a good time okay guys still one up seven hole 453 MERS so that’s obviously like 500 is it part five yeah what’s you get shot here do you that’s the wrong card this is the car on o no shot no shot here we go big big hole in the match this got it straight into to win this thing as well yeah going to play along is it just know there’s a lot of room up there so yeah I’m going to say good news there’s not a lot right or left is there I think it’s these bunkers that are going to prove to be the issues stay away from it I might be bunky you know that really yep great Drive Brett oh what a drive that is that is massive got a feel of seol about it hasn’t it yes you want seol no could have said anything y I just agreed with you I will still admire him Miss shot I’m not going to lie that is a great drive from Mr Cooper in the middle of I tell you what mate 40 on you you’ve done mate 40 on you man was dicing with I’m just pleased it’s not in that bunker there it’s obviously diced with it somehow to be so uh so Back 40 he’s definitely always got an excuse May that’s what that’s what golf is all about what have we got you don’t want to know 240 mini driver into wind it’s not exactly the life for 3 what is it it’s awful you know people at Stingers on Instagram that’s it I think it’s over the bunker is it I didn’t actually see it I think there’s one club in the bag you’re going to reach for it is there it’s the wind that’s doing it it’s only 240 but it’s like into it’s a big shot this inter wind is it I am debating it usually I can’t believe you don’t have a shot here usually on a par five you always have a shot yeah so you’d lay up but it’s I mean I think mine went towards that bunker on the right yeah and I’m hoping it’s over it so i’ basically got like a wedge over which I don’t particularly mind if it’s in the bunker it’s going to be a difficult shot but never take this hybrid yeah so hybrid wise I’ve put this in I’ve put the pxg 0311 I think that’s one of the best hybrids of the Year by far you can see the three weights that’s kind of spread out and strategically places thei where you want it there’s no excuses and you’ve got 2 20 to be fair you’re 20 yards past me aren you 30 being being the big guy that you are yeah yeah big hter yeah what you thought looking down at that the ball I’m not a fan I’ve never been a no I’m not a fan of hybrids if I’m honest I’ve never liked is this a bit of negative selft talk so now you surprise yourself when you put it on the green yeah it’s all part of the plan oh no that was uh you know what though it’s safe as houses unless it goes in that it’s in the bunker oh it’s over the bunker has it yeah it’s just in the thick roof on the side of it brilliant and that’s you know what that’s as big a lesson as anyone today if you don’t fancy a club like say if you’re not a hybrid kind of guy don’t use one no I should have just hit mini driver would you have a seven wood in the bag no really no I don’t like LOF on a seven just driving iron I have a driving iron yet yeah which is strange cuz a lot of people think well driving irons are like the least for giving Club out there but if you don’t like him you don’t like him no you’ve got to feel comfortable aren you yeah right uh it must be a par three next I believe cuz you don’t get a shot on there either at the ocean beautiful here we were good what’s in there day yeah Hammerheads Tigers well tiger sharks lions and bears where’s my ball that you you yours like it went in and then came out might might be down there somewhere right not the easiest of Lies it’s on an up slope so it’s sort of helping you but again the green complex the greens are the real defense here they are yeah I think on every are you don’t get punished from in a fairway left or right unless only it hols where there’s been a bit of water this has got to be good Spike and it’s not oh Bret Bret I’m ready for home the one thing I’d say there and if this was a playing lesson I’d be raging with you because it’s the balls on an up slope so there’s plenty of loft there anyway so you’re using a 52 Dee wedge and D well statically there’s there’s way more loft there anyway because the ball’s such on a bad L you’ve got bad balance so your hands are going to get more into it it was destined to go left that’s a 9 and land it there and let it release up yeah I always thought we were friends no but I’m just trying to help you so you don’t do it again good news is that wasn’t Russ that was mine so I’m the side of the green what was the wager today we didn’t met one that’s that’s just lack of concentration that is absolutely terrible let him back into the hole James why don’t you you can put that down with one of the worst golf shots I’ve played in a very very long time wrong Club you knew it’s going to check cuz the greens are really receptive and now instead of having a well 5 10 footer we’ve pretty much got 40 ft for the birdie so if Brett plays a good bunker shot which he’s likely to because he has been playing well at bunkers we’ve basically given him this whole back well done come on M let’s have a nice one you’ve been class out of these you’ve said it now terrible it’s not terrible it’s out good effort com in for a five I think pick that one up thank you that’s a five this for the half yeah wow not a chance of course you’ve got a chance don’t let Captain peacock here you say that it Go mental unless you don’t hit it then there’s then there’s not a there’s not you got to hit it raing right BR let’s have a moment let’s regroup let have a need 10 minutes on one of them Cabanas oh yeah oh actually Cabanas funnily enough it’s only a red steak so if you find it you can play it can’t you Ross red Hazard where the Cabanas are right when uh when when red stakes are red stakes I’ll tell you what through the cabana at the flag are they going to wipe the caban out that’s what you play like a nice cold water BR just to no they got me Coca-Cola let’s finish this off just right off what you got what club you picked out of there right I’ve got eight iron it’s 140 yards into the win trying again play it a little bit lower I think that’s the beauty about these clubs we’re kind of forgetting what this video is about Brett’s getting upset but that’s okay I’m going to face Sam your dad anyway I’m going ring one minute a minute can I speak to I like M that slip T Ang was sweat that them uh I find them grips quite slippy yeah the grips are poor aren’t they yeah I think that’s why I’m losing yeah yeah the dry out for me what was it playing Brett 136 133 it’s a bit short actually a little bit short wasn’t it took too much off it yeah cut harder than that there’s a chance for Mr Cooper I don’t think there will be it lovely and did everything I wanted to was just 10 short and then spam back tough greens to navigate as well it’s two down four to play Oh Be Good be good put a smile on his face yeah lovely shot that’s nice that’s in that out of it to seven if we got it that was a nice one mate thank you very much keep you in the game he what roll that in and you could be back to what put in like you can’t say that that literally like I’m going have to bleep so much of that out it’s scary o I’ve got a chance it’s a great shot that it’s exactly what I wanted to do what you just did yeah I tried to tell you but you just didn’t want to listen no never do do I no BR you put it to about 6 feet that’s what I do it’s never boring is it no that that’s my problem on one all and then BR it on another that Fant looks nice beautiful that you could have hit five IR here I think yeah Oh no just that five I in the oh no half the half mate I knew were going to do that when I took Mick as well these forgiving Putters and all got banned from a hotel that’s an hour and a half away no three for two let’s get over with you got shot Shot Two Shots on this in the neck yep we’ll still need more than that today let’s see it out let’s get in the bar would you reckon the line is here cuz it goes that way don’t it I re I’m aing for that hotel and I about it green what from 300 and I’m not I think if this is too much Club you know it’s a great shot safe where’s Green paron where is the green the Green’s down to the right that’s what I mean I think if you get if you hit that shot and go right I think it’s too much and now B in it nice Brett best swing of the day look at that lovely course it beautiful not screen dreaming me what there’s a bar there so what a God this is the I think the holes around the hotel are lot more TR aren’t this this is the best looking all we’ve played actually yeah coming back towards looking we’ll show you not ugly f look at them for two Drives By the way game on tell you what are you D me three yes I hate that position you’ve got a shot here though I know but you’re not you’re not hitting that t-shot if you know that’s there are you no you’re hitting an iron and we called it off well you called it off T I don’t think Ross you’re wet yeah you’re very wet looking at that thinking that’s hug s he’ll still make a four come on Brett roll this up oh dear what we got 90 play 90 looks like we’re outside bagio fountains here 90 playing 93 nice little choppy 52 yeah yeah like it he’s got a shot could bring it back to two that’s horrendous if we’re talking positives you’re there for one there is no positives behind that whatsoever 90 I’ll have another go at this then further up walking yeah I’m having five minutes for myself all right you know serious this guys golf is hard especially mid- handicap golf especially on like this that you’ve not played and you don’t know Brett’s beating himself up he shouldn’t be doing uh if he hadn’t been beating himself up he’s got two shot holes coming up now he could quite easily par both of them especially with the t-shot he’s just hit they it to been dormy one then it’s in the lap of the Gods isn’t it so I think really he’s beating himself today more than anything which is obviously disappointing he play a nice one here yeah lovely you see the game’s there the game is there definitely that’s coming back down nicely from him as well if he done that first time then pressure is on isn’t it but I’ve got another birdie put to go out here come on Brett roll it in it’ be a great bar well done oh well played sir thanks mate
