all right guys I’m going to talk to you about one of the biggest speed Killers I see when players go back with their driver they get in a position where their arms separate and lift away from their body everything gets out in front and then the arms just go out in front we can’t use our body to create speed instead feel like when you’re going back you’re getting this lead arm tight to your chest and it’s going to go all the way up to the top tight and connected push in and then fly off the body through impact if you want to hit it far

Leverage! The lead arm and club shaft work like a dual lever Trebuchet to accelerate the club head into the and it works best in terms of power and control of club path when the lead arm starts and stays connected during the swing.
You may notice some pros have the butt of their club pointed at belt buckle at address with shaft nearly vertical | vs angled back / that is done by internally rotating the lead elbow under the rib cage which helps connect the arm to chest and force the arm and hand to only move the club with the hip and shoulder turn which keeps everything in sync.
If instead the lead arm hangs freely at address not connected the arms and hands will move the club in the takeaway independent of the hip and shoulders which can work if the golfer is Jack Nicklaus with super human coordination but not so much for ordinary golfers.
Try both ways and compare.
