on the te for Europe sep straa one of nine different nationalities in the European team just the second Austrian to play in the Ryder Cup and a rookie appearance for sep [Music] ster well not the start he would have won it that’s 15 or 20 years of dream just happening there for step the referee for this match is Jeremy Benham you [Music] first player to use a three-w off the first and misses going to just run through into that right hand trap where saw a magnificent shot from Manhattan again that can happen as well Sam with adrenaline you hit it away further than you expect John R more bit of pressure I think the US putting Max and Windam together is it’s an interesting idea I kind of like it I think Max both being rookies Ma they’re putting a lot of faith in Max to kind of keep Windam a little bit more calm and a little bit more focused cuz he’s a guy who can really get his motor running high so that in the press conference from the US Open Champion took down Rory Roy to take it safely on The Fairway yeah that’s a per that’s a perfect drive there fantastic for the rookie on the te Europe Sten what do you make of this pairing with the experience of Justin Rose playing his sixth McIntyre already a winner around this golf course as well like hoard took down Rory and Fitz to do that last season I think the old head and the young head I think Bob’s a a great player and unbelievable [Music] talent and he’s ripped on down the middle as well which is a fantastic drive for him again like you say like haard two rookies that have one round the same coach which is which is to throw it down there and then Tommy Fleetwood Sam says what he has to do yeah sometimes it’s difficult to work that out does the aggressive one go first I me H the the fair with then they both can be aggressive or do you get one on the fair and the other one goes aggressive it’s it’s a complicated one [Music] perfect complete work [Applause] [Applause] I was liking the three wi strategy there but he just didn’t execute it properly you know into the rough at the left it’s going to be really important for these guys to feel like to to both hit the fairways right give themselves as many driving range to the first embracing all that it is here this week the rookie well the rookie not got much nerves there a very aggressive t-shot aggressive line he’ll have nothing more than a wed in from there super drive to Bob McIntyre [Applause] and he has an Olympic gold medalist as a partner how clutch was that part yesterday afternoon down the last to tie the match what a man to lean on good looking shot from Justin yeah it wasn’t good for my side but man it was impressive to see boy that was you can feel it with that put all his emotion that came out he’s going to put everything he has into it today you know you don’t get so many chances to actually really play in the rer cup so you want to win every point you want to make it so hard for those other guys threeway tring the Fairway just Le into to the right ever so slightly but that’s why I hit a great shot’s going to calm his nerves going into this R of the [Music] round another new pairing his partner now was out with Max Homer yesterday Windam Clark it’s Patrick C Lake this afternoon probably one of the more consistent players on tour from kind of just everything that he does there’s so much consistency he’s probably not exceptional at anything but he’s actually great at basically everything in a perfect drive here on [Music] one on the T [Applause] Euro it was quite the performance from these two they tied the first then went 1 2 3 4 5 six up through seven holes Fitzpatrick and maroy looks like this is going have a little bit left oh dear into the thick thick stuff that’s not good from there now [Music] f t but it looks like it’s looking right I he did go with driver so that Bunker’s definitely in play and he flew right actually over it and it just stuck in the gch I don’t know what you call that I think that’s just right on top of the bunker Europe need just the four what Scot with a great drive on this opening a high fit right down the middle of the Fairway after yesterday’s performance he has to be itching he’s been counting on the seconds to get here right now to this moment on the te Euro his only lost in rder cup singles it’s two Scotty Sheffer went down four and three two years ago but he’s undefeated so far this [Music] week three wood for Ram he’ll be heading to the green first all importantly from the Short Grass to tremendous t- shots from these fine players to get the singles underway the crowd are already the world’s best players have shown they are [Applause] ready momentum in hovland’s corner no question about that here this week [Music] calling hitting driver off the first pulls it left fans cheering got a hit looks like he was left over the crowd almost went back into it’s pretty dry over there might need a little bit of luck but you know might have a chance EUR he’s been an absolute Warrior for Europe this week one of three players out of 24 to go all five matches he is the FedEx Cup champion he is the inform player you could say in the game of golf right now threeway for hland absolute dead center three wonderful shots we’ve seen so far from the Europeans to start their day [Applause] driver up to T he going down the middle watching closy making sure he doesn’t run up through the Fairway into that bunker it’s softly perfect Drive Patrick’s the first American to give the us some sort of sense of adrenaline some excitement some energy that they so desperately needed going against [Applause] today it’s been an amazing week so far for Justin Rose as well he’s got one and a half points from two he birdied the last to tie the match thank you in Friday four balls alongside Robert McIntyre who he’s partnered this week really stepped into the role as a mentor between the two and he hasn’t lost in his last three rder cup singles matches wow we seeing some t- shots off the first referee three days into this contest now they’re used to the atmosphere three wood for Sam out to the right’s going to be in the rough we’ll see how Brian Haron and that’s unfortunate a good te shot the lies okay on the T Euro been great this week Gerald Hatton couple of wins alongside John Ram’s undefeated just the one tight but he’s never won a singles match and is two Ridder cups before this [Music] when you look at all the all the singles all the lineups the matches this one really stuck out to me because they’re kind of a similar character and they’re both going to be really [Applause] feisty back to the first and the final match Windam Clark the Robert McIntyre wind with the three-w on the team kind of doing what he’s done the last two days just peeled it out to the right hoping it stays in the Fairway and it does he’ll be happy with that so that was the announcement for the two rookies they’ve got the same record one win and one half but you have to say that Robert McIntyre’s probably contributed a little bit more so than Windam Clark did in his matches yeah Bob Blake’s a driver off the first here he he said the the last drive he hits on the Range he visualizes it and then walks to the team and tries to emulate that shot look like he’s setting up there to cut it he’s just overdone it it’s down the left hand
